I have dreamt of this scenario a lot but actually to a much lower scale of 1000. Which is why I always aimed to have at least 10 LTC (not yet achieved) and 5 ETH (even less achieved) right after I get my 1 BTC (almost half achieved).

That's pretty much awesome mate, possibly if bullrun comes we might see $3k per LTC. For now it remains a big dreams for all of us, and waiting is really a biggest challenge that we'll going to face meanwhile. Always keep your coins at safe storage and avoid any sort of panic decisions, because you might regret in the end if you lost it all for nothing; choose to hold rather than being an early seller.

We can say that most of the high market cap cryptocurrencies out there almost always move together where Bitcoin is moving but it doesn't mean that it will almost and always be the same movement. There are times where Bitcoin is the only crypto in the market who is moving upwards while the others started falling this is mainly cause by these altcoins own investors offloading their hodlings of that crypto in order to participate Bitcoin's massive bull run. This scenario can always happen anytime and we cannot assume that if Bitcoin's price is this then the other Altcoin will move proportionally to that one we also need to analyze other factors such as the volume of the crypto itself when that happens because maybe another massive offloading will happen.

But we can't even feel the effect of Halving meaning this is impossible to happen?

Litecoin is a good coin but i think the support from the dev is not that clear thats why it fells from the number 3 rank now to below number 5.

I also happy in this level,so i can sell mine and convert to Bitcoin after while.

If it is true that will be good news with an increase in the price of BTC $ 100,000 and LTC $ 3,000, then the price of ETH will also go up because I always expect prices to soar, maybe everyone also expects that increase.

Everyone do hopes for those prices that we havent reached before, not only limited to LTC but in all coins that we've been holding for too long but to look or basing up to those numbers then it is just likely a dream.
Yes, it can happen but this one would require full scale adoption before we do able to reach out those numbers. $3000 for LTC just because you do presume out that it will go along with btc numbers?
I dont think so since alts wont correlate from time to time and talking into that time where btc able to reach reach that spot then most people do focus mainly with btc and as always, alts will be lagging behind.

I think people are greatly overestimating the profits that LTC can produce, if bitcoin were to bull run now and reach 100k that will be an 11.11x increase in its price but in order for LTC to reach 3k from its current price of 41 dollars that will be a 73.17x increase, do you really think that litecoin is going to grow so much especially when investors are more aware of the limitations of altcoins? If anything I will be surprised if LTC can keep up with bitcoin during the next bull run.

Good common sense. NO reason for Ltc to jump 70x and btc to jump 11x.

More likely btc hits 20-30k and ltc hits 400-500 usd.

So be prepared from now on. If what you say is true then you have to prepare now. Because not everyone has the opportunity to see this kind of bull run. I think very positively about crypto. So for the last few years I have been trying to deposit some $ every month in my crypto wallet. So it is better for me if the bull market starts from now.

I am sure if that happens, many of us will be millionaires since I guess they already bought litecoin at a low price, and they will make sure they can wait for that time to comes. When litecoin have time to increase, that will be good news for us, especially for litecoin holder because they want to make a big profit from litecoin as before. A lot of crypto enthusiast will be a millionaire but i dont see that happen now even when the bullish market start to be incase such thing happen in flthe future i believe the OP calculation about Litecoin will be incorrect because LTC havent  implemented lightning Network Daemon v0.10.1, released Core 0.18.1 and power up with Atari when LTC make the price listed.

Yeah, the bullish market will not happen now, but we hope it will happen this year. The first thing that litecoin needs to do is lift the price to break $75-$100 because that is hard to do, especially if bitcoin price does not increase so high. Maybe soon, the litecoin developer will announce something so that it can bring a positive sentiment. If the market sentiment is high, that can make the price slowly increase and break the high price.

Litecoin has no chance of hitting that value because this currency has been dropping for long time now.
From top 3 currency in 2017 now it falls to rank 7 and still falling.

Every investor wish is to see the crypto he invested in experiencing uptrend but that doesn't mean we have to ignore the fact about the market season which is why i believe innovation announce now by the Litecoin dev will only bring positive sentiment which won't last a month.

I get why people get excited about the prospects of litecoin in the future, but as you say it is common sense, altcoins have been performing poorly for years now and every single time there is a recovery bitcoin grows even faster, which could be considered odd as it is so big compared to any other coin, however when we think about that probably most of the real transactions made in this market are done with bitcoin then it makes sense that if the next bull run is caused by the average person buying some coins in order to protect his assets that bitcoin will be the coin they will buy.

When bitcoin's price touch a higher price we will see another altcoin's price are increased as well. Like a few years before when bitcoin price touch $20.000 we have seen ETH price touched $1500 which I think the high price that I ever seen because ETH price was only has a cheap pricr before the touched $1500.

So, we can expect it, just hope bitcoin will touch $100 000 and we will really confident that LTC price touch $3000. but for $ 10,000 is my main target because if I can break to $ 10,000 the price of bitcoin has the potential to be $ 19,000 again

For years here we talk about how anything is possible. If anything is possible than Bitcoin can rise to million and some altcoins will follow that rise and worth a lot more than they worth now. It's not going to happen next month or next year, but with enough time anything can happen and we can see very high prices of cryptocurrencies we like to use on daily basis.

We can only dream about BTC hits $100,000. When BTC rise all other altcoins will rise along. Right now the price of LTC (https://www.worldcoinindex.com/coin/litecoin) is $45, when the price hits $80 in February.

the situation is still very far for now. talking ATH alone still makes doubts about that. let alone go beyond and make a new ATH. of course many people think pessimistic about this conversation.

People keep dreaming in this space do they not? We all think 100k is nice and 3000k LTC even nicer (I have more LTC actually!) but sometimes what we think is good may not be so good when it comes true. I remember being young and hoping I would one day have a lot of my local currency. But hey guess what inflation happened and my wish came true :(

Thats why what we need to do is expect the unexpected because the more we wanted things to favor us is the more the situation comes far from us.

Litecoin is far from reality not like Bitcoin and Ethreum.

Mind you, in the year 1984 gold was sold at $309 but it now sold around $1,799.35 - 1,807.33 per ounce which is something logical about every genuine asset, so if OP said bitcoin will be $100,000 hes not talking aboug this year or two.

You guys are getting fired up just for this? I don't want to ruin your expectations but even if we say Bitcoin actually hits $100k, still it doesn't actually means that Litecoin will pump equal as the previous price it had in the past, it all depends from the traders. And we don't know yet if Bitcoin would actually touch $100k next year, although we will going to see that soon but nobody knows when.

100,000 is an exciting figure and also a dream target for me as well but i have read expert opinions that expect the next peak to be way higher than that. Personally i will be really happy when market hits such a remarkable milestone, i do not have 1 whole btc yet still i wish everyone will be happy with such growth and obviously ltc and eth will also become expensive by that time. I hope ot will not take much longer now before we see these price levels.

The impact that caused by bitcoin will have affected the whole of market. This is a speculation that will never happen even until the next decade. Bitcoin needs to achieve its maximum supply to make it comes true.

Altcoins should not depend on the pump of bitcoin and I agree that there’s no guarantee than if bitcoin pump, altcoins will follow especially litecoin. The price prediction is high and I don’t expect that to happen in the next 5 years. If Litecoin continues to grow then the pump will also be more profitable, the halving din’t bring good pump but we can still expect that in the coming years.

I have never heard that. I know that Litecoin has the latest update in halving what they do. it was not very successful but it would be very unfortunate if they had to stop developing and would only wait for bitcoin to pump up the market.

I heard about that, but it's not true. They are working as they did before, I don't know about what development we are talking about here, litecoin is good as it is, simple and easy to use. There's what litecoin should do, to be a mean of exchange, with cheap and fast transactions. Maybe you expect development like ethereum has, but ethereum is different story, like many other projects that announced big things, and they need to develop if they wish to follow their road map. Now open litecoin site and take a look what litecoin is all about, you can't expect miracles from every project!

It might be that the article writer invested in litecoin that's why his indirectly urging crowd to buy Litecoin,. By the way, Litecoin and other altcoin moves and fluctuate with Bitcoin movements. Bitcoin is the carrier of altcoin that's a point to note. I may not doubt the poster but eventually it happens that way, Litecoin volatility is high to the extent that it surpasses so many altcoin. I believe that sooner or later we will reach top of the moon and bitcoin would see 100k USD in my opinion also it would be great for both LTC and ETH and my fav altcoins too. But firstly market needs to clean dead,fraud,scam project and token with them. For me LTC much more legit than Xrp BCH ADA BSV on top ten cmc ranking. That can boost the moral of LTC investor but looking at the predictions, maybe a decade to come before we finally see this kind of price with bitcoin and litecoin. However, the team of Ltc must continue from developing new things under Ltc technology, or else this price is just a big dream.

Altcoins keeps on rising despite of a bear market, but the demand is still low to reach that much level, so let’s wait for the mass adoption and if we are able to reach $100k with bitcoin, then let’s also give hope to the good altcoins like Ltc.

The question is "IF" bitcoin will reach $100, 000. We know that bitcoin has the ability to surge its price abruptly but I guess reaching $100k is not an easy road given we are experiencing and encountering a financial crisis due to this covid pandemic. Any asset could reach that price almost all altcoins are dependent on bitcoin So $3000 for litecoin can be reached if BTC reaches those heights too for sure someday.

Even so, I am still doubting that Litecoin will reach that amount.  In the given prediction there are two things that seems impossible right now.  Bitcoin reaching $100k and Litecoin even reaching $2k.  So I guess that prediction is stated to stimulate the Litecoin market which I think has little to no effect at all.  And I agree that they are independent from each other.  A gain of Bitcoin does not mean a gain for litecoin and vice versa.
