it is very easily possible that someone will risk reputation for $2.58. Be careful.
I'm not sure you know how it goes, but there is a high possibility that the transaction fee will be more expensive than $2.58

That's great and generous. No need for someone to take the risk and even as OP doesn't have to put someone into risk of dealing with because PayPal is known for reversible transactions. Even for smaller transactions, you'll never know who you are dealing with if PayPal is the method of payment.

I do not know whether @shasan will be willing to accept ETH for your paypal because is not available on his list,  but it doesn't hurt if you try to PM him first. And of course you can go first, because he is a trusted member in this matter.

why not try another payment channel. Paypal has lot of flaws. they are known to reverse funds whenever a little issue is detached. there are other payment channel avaliable. worldremit, alipay and many others. they might be helpful. to avoid create issue with your benefactor..

The guy that offered you that free Ethereum wasn't active since 11 days ago and that's a wrong timing for both of you.

PayPal is known for that and it's hard to find someone who's going to take the risk trading with someone over PayPal funds. It is reversible and the risk is on the seller not on OP even for this very small amount . But, OP probably has that small amount on his PayPal account and just want to spend it for Ethereum.

Seriously? If its in XRP then maybe I can trade with you but a big no on ETH. The transaction is very high considering the amount that you want to trade. And also doing PayPal transaction here usually have additional charges and the most common additional rate was 10% of the actual value.

Just PM me if you can do XRP instead of ETH. I will do a fair 1:1 trade to you. And also we will used F&F(Family and Friend) method on the transaction.
