yes. it's mostly used as a bounty scrap yard, where people go to offload their shitcoins.
As such, it has very little to no liquidity and it's a matter of time before it's not solvent and is shut down, ie costs outweight the income

It's forkdelta mate.  :)
But anyway, it's going to experience the same fate just like those dying decentralized exchanges. Most aren't really into that kind of exchange so if you have funds or tokens that are tradable there, liquidate it as early as you can.

no one knows if how long they can continue, its looks like that exchange is not so popular today unlike of what it is before..

Before there are many new tokens listed there and many user's use that exchange but by now only developers use that for free listing and user's prepared to use normal exchange than this one since more of the tokens listed there today is mostly manage a shot tokens.

Decentralized exchanges dont look like we want it to be and some investors still want to stay anonymous even with the development in many countries on cryptocurrency. We will continue to see a lot of demeaning comment on exchanges like forkdelta and etherdelta that serve a blackmarket for trade in this space and they might continue to trade low until people see more difficulties with the control of government on crypto, my only fear is the attack on the exchange by hack from powerful organisation.

As long erc20 shitty projects would exist then this DEX and other similar one would still exist and as mentioned this had been always a scrap yard of those shit tokens
that had been continuously created even up to these days.

It wont be surprising that this platform will close its doors soon.Hate to say where DEX doesnt really get that much of liquidity/volume.

forkdelta or etherdelta is a place to sell junk coins with quickly or at cheap prices and if you have an ETH platform based coin then you can sell it there. I am glad to see that etherdelta is dead and hope that the forkdhelta will also soon catch up. because these two exchanges are not worthy places to trade. I really don't like with Etherdelta or Forkdhelta.

Forkdelta is Etherdelta.
So far I have not seen a good development from forkdelta, he did not give anything new.
If it continues like this, it seems like it will die, especially now that eth transaction fees are very expensive

I can see that forkdelta exchange is still working and I think it will not be closed because many traders are still using this platform

forkdelta was the place to go and buy or sell bounty coins, on one hand it became known as a place of shitcoins that are not listed anywhere else, and on the other hand bounties are becoming few and few and the ones that do IEOs don't go to forkdelta, the good ones neither... so not much left...
I think it is the remains of ICO golden age...

Forkdelta is the old etherdelta, actually forkdelta is the same as etherdelta. I guess it will be dead when no one is using it because there are some people who still using forkdelta.

I have just called https://forkdelta.app again after some time. Above is written: "Help fund ForkDelta operations in July. Contribute now! Read more". Can anyone confirm that this comment has been made in recent months?

YA same but not finish yet even still working there development. I used this exchanger a few years ago and later i retired, But they are still trying to invent new analogs in their exchanger and it looks like they want to stay in the future.

I have not traded there for a very long time last trade I have there was when one of my shitcoin pumped, some newbies do not know this decentralized exchange, people are more familiar trading on centralized exchange although there is risk of KYC involved, they have not market their platform because it depends on Ethereum's project and so many of these are just shitcoins.

Yep! eventually, forkdelta is going to meet with the same fate as etherdelta because the exchange is getting slower than usual for the past couple of months which in my opinion would be the downfall for forkdelta.

I hope not. They are still needed for the next bull run.  ;)
Although I'm wondering if ETH will switch to ETH2.0, will the ERC20 tokens be upgraded automatically and Forkdelta can still be used or has FD to be upgraded too?

Forkdelta is a fork of Etherdelta, and I think the two have broken off cooperation and are mutually independent. reference >> https://www.reddit.com/r/EtherDelta/comments/7odsni/i_forked_etherdelta_forkdelta/

It depends on how the customer supports them. To continue operating, Forkdelta relies heavily on donations from customers. I think this is the same as technical improvement or development. Even if they have that plan, they should raise more funds.

absolutely right for now these two exchanges are already rarely used because now there are many rivals and better than these two exchanges, but in the past both exchanges were very popular and very much in demand so I used to have to wait a week more just because I sent eth because it was pending, and well it seems that for now there are more exchanges that are better and cheaper than I know everyone is definitely looking for cheap and trustworthy exchanges and now many of those exchanges are good and also easier for new people

ForkDelta is about to close thier services if no one donating 1000 DAI per month on their funding address, look at their top page of exchange that said they are need about 1000 SAI per month to keep that decentralized exchange operating, on this year i dont think that people still using forkdelta to exchange their token because forkdelta/etherdelta hype is gone since to many scam project that trade their shit on that exchange and  new project are moved to new concept called IEO

I have not used this DEX for many years, the last time I used it could be 2017. As far as I know, Folkdelta is an upgrade of Etherdelta, both DEXs are one.

With the presence of IEO's this exchange is no longer getting any attention, maybe it's time to move forward if they can't acquired expenses
to continue facilitating maybe it's for this site to go.

Both DEX platforms are not being used that much, the site needs to pay the operation if there's no gas fees it won't survive.

Sooner or later forkDelta will collapse and their service will no more be available, The trend of using a decentralized exchange is now gone after a few years of existing. IEO trend is one of the reasons why people doesn't use a decentralized exchange, People today are finding reputable exchanges rather than decentralized exchange.

ofcourse they are looking reputation exchange before they invest in project because if the ceo of the project is willing pay to list on Reputation exchange instead Free DEX exchange that means they are really seriouse on their project ( not all, but mostly ) hype for forkdelta is gone after new project launch and sell their shit and getting some ether then ran Away with buyer money, i remember when forkdelta/etherdelta is very hype DEX on that 2017-2018 years, almost every hours someone launch new project and sell the their shit

If you look at the structure and rules in both of them it is clear that forkdelta is a substitute for etherdelta.
that we cannot deny, because of all the ways there is clearly no difference between the two.

the question, what about folkdelta, will it be dead like etherdelta?
the possibility of death could have occurred due to too many new altcoin accommunication in the sales market, which was also experienced by etheredelta in his time.
so that there are too many altcoin transactions on it, making the work of the system also very heavy.

but again, there is no need to fear that a substitute will emerge from forkdelta, because after all people still need a place that can accept all transactions to accommodate new altcoins, which may not be done by other exchangers.
