Title: Bitmain points
Post by: danieleither on July 02, 2020, 08:37:21 PM
Could somebody explain how the Bitmain points system works? I have accumulated some, however there is no explanation on the website (that I can find) as to what they do or what I can do with them?

You have to wait, Bitmain is still deciding what to do with those points.

How many do you have?  I spent around 4700 usd and got 47 points.

I have had them for months and have never been able to use them.

There are not many details, but the way to calculate them looks like this: 1 point for every $100 spent.
Check your Total order price (shipped orders page) since 29th October.
There are not many details about how it works but you seem to be going to sales or cut shipping fees.
Perhaps the pandemic caused the delay in the use of it. :D

Some thread that do discuss out this "Bitmain points" thing: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5225645.0

So far i havent seen any feedbacks nor reviews on how its being used but to presume that you might able to use these points for some deduction on future purchases or some sort
or there might be some perks depending on the points you had accumulated.

The best thing to do on why wont ask them about this matter?

I have had them for months and have never been able to use them.

Are there options showing off when you are making out some checkout on where these points can be possibly use?

I have 347 points so yes it looks like you get 1 point per 100 usd spent.

I emailed them last week to ask about discounts for bulk order as I need to acquire some more machines (ideally high-power such as S19 Pro). MOQ of 200 for a discount :( I can only run around 30! Bitcoin mining is becoming VERY tight with the cost of the hardware, I really do hope the price increases soon - even with free power you are looking at around a year ROI for the more expensive / high-hashrate machines.
