Title: $240 [Auction] 1989 Topps Traded Tiffany PSA 9 Ken Griffey Jr. ENDED
Post by: gadsden76 on July 02, 2020, 11:41:12 PM

Same deal as my other auction. I'm starting this auction at less than 50% of the price this card sells for on Ebay.  This card has a very liquid market and sells for about $500 on average on ebay.  Starting bid $240 equivalent in BTC.  Item ends in three days.  Post bid in comments. I have the right to reject your bid if you look like a scammer.

Will accept escrow with someone reputable.

Starting bid: 0.025 BTC

A quick search shows several of these PSA 9 cards available on eBay for $30 right now, which I値l be honest I thought was high...

I stand corrected.

I need look into it more, but I think I saw somewhere that there is a difference between the normal cards and the "Tiffany" cards...

it has to do with the glossiness - the Tiffany ones, both back and front, are more glossy than the standard card. If you have a keen sense of touch, you can feel the difference between the two as well.

here is a Tiffany McGwire on the left and a standard McGwire on the right.

Like another poster pointed out, those are not the 'Tiffany' versions that sell for $30.  The Tiffany versions are much more exclusive and rare.  As you can see on the PSA certified case it says Tiffany, that will be the card you receive.  And if you look up the pricing it is as I say.

Thank you  :)

Interesting. My apologies. Can you show the back of the card as well? I知 shocked at some of the prices I知 seeing for some of these Griffey cards. I always assumed my collection had become worthless, but maybe I知 sitting on a few hundred K. Lol

No problem, it is an easy mistake to make.
Yes I can upload a scan of the reverse of the card tomorrow.  I will put it in the description.
