I was there some weeks: The future of Bitcointalk: Low Ranking Top Merit earners in the past 30 days (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5185736.0). Hence I understood what you are doing and what are challenging you when you are building up yourself to become a future of bitcointalk.

I have less than 50 sendable merits for you who are future of bitcointalk. If you deserve it, you can take merit from me.

No requirements to apply, except:
- Ranks: newbie, Jr. member, and Member.
- Apply with the post you think is your best. Please don't apply more than three posts.
- No daily or weekly merit cap, I will send without cap to all deserved people.
- Personal award cap: 1 merit per user.




A full disclosure: I have 42 sMerits and I am lack of 42 merits to go and reach Sr. member. What an interesting story!  :-X

I know the list, sure, but there are different reasons why people receive merits. Not all of users in the list deserve merits they received. And clearly that I don't set a restriction that only users in the list can apply here.

Great, you have a good initiative to help other user by distributing sMerit on quality posts by reporting their post link on this thread. 1 sMerit for 1 user is the limit that you will distribute and that is the local rule in this thread. I just want to know why you are limiting your sMerit distribution to beginner, junior member, and member ?

Merit must not be limited to rank and it must be oriented to the quality of the post made. But you are fully entitled to choose how to distribute the sMerit that you have, sorry I just want to know. By the way, you are very close to senior member because you only need 39 additional merit to get it. Congratulation on your achievement and I hope that your current initiatives receive proper appreciation from the crypto community.

In merit giveaways threads, you'd have a better chance to get merited if you apply with an unmerited or under-merited post, I like this thread on your poem and i merited it when you made it, and you've also earned over 35 merits as well from other users. Imo it'd be better if you choose a different thread to apply with.

True. I do it because I want to help the future of bitcointalk and also would prefer to bring some feelings of fairness to low rank users. It is the start of their adventure not the ends. As pointed out in OP, I was listed in the future of bitcointalk list, and I intend to help users who are in same period for now. It is same as campaigns, some restrict participants to Hero/ Legendary; some open their gates to at least Member rank. It is subjectively decision to run campaigns, contests.  :)

Although your initiative is good but personally I will not encourage for such as 'merit giveaway'. That means you hadn't been spending your smerit and gathered them. As far as I know you aren't merit source, so spending your earn merit is quite easier than merit sources. You should spend your time to read other users post and spend your merit on at least good post. Even I am a merit source but I feel lack of merit at the end of month. Means I am spreading my merits during reading post, not by giveaway.

I am not saying that's bad thing nor I am attacking you. Just want to explain why some of reputed members do not like to see merit giveaway thread lately. Perhaps it was appropriate at the beginning even I had opened giveaway thread. But for now I believe everything working fine about merit system and we should spend time to read others post and spend our merits at the same time as well.

Yes, people who are not merit sources do not have much smerits to spend and just by reading the threads there are so many good posts to whom they can easily send merit without any merit giveaways. But since the intention is good and there is no rules of prohibition on opening merit giveaways thread, i would still appreciate him for this.

It's not bad to help newbies to rank but not so many newbies post constructive post so my suggestion is that you should divide your smerits according to rank. For example, 10 for newbies, 10 for jr. members, 10 for members and 12 for full members but it's up to you of you ever consider my suggestion. Continue helping lower ranks and posting constructive posts.

It is a good initiative to spent out your smerits and helps newbies-member to rank up their current rank. Some old members also doing this in the past to help others because of the difficulty to earn merit and lack of merit sources at the moment (I guess). Nowadays, there are plenty of merit sources who will give enough merit to newbies (if they deserve it), so it is quite rare to see a merit giveaway thread now.

In my opinion, you should add it to your local rules, on which language you accepted for this giveaway.
So, something like this will not happen again next time.

Anyway, good luck for the giveaway and I believe with your current merit earning speed you can achieve sr member next week.

Yes you should not but you can use a translator for this, but it's not your obligation to do that but if they want merit then it's better to only send his best posts that people can understand, in my experience I never experienced sending merit to other local board, I received a request from one friend from other country but I decline to do it because I like you I do not understand the post and cannot verify the quality.

This is a good opportunity for us beginners and I hope to get the merit(I don't know yet what it is) that you are sharing.

I think it's always nice to see someone who have something like this which aims to give chance to lower ranks to obtain merits. It is very sad that your account has been created for more than three years, and you are still asking for merit for a topic that, alas, is no longer relevant. The time of bounty is long gone, and today most of those who were previously either banned or had or have many alternative accounts participate in them.
It's much more helpful to create a theme that warns newbies that bounty campaigns are a waste of time.

I am an average poster here in the forum and would love to continue doing good here. You account has been over 8 months ago, since January, 2020. I think you need to work on your post quality, if you do, you will be given merits to posts that are worth to be given merits. With that, you will be able to apply for merit giveaways like this. Although, I did not look into your profile, but the free merit giver did not award you any merit, which is an indication that you did not post in a way that is meritable, else he would have given you at last 1 merit. Do not see this as a redicule but as a challenge for you to make quality posts in order to earn merits and rank up because this is what you want.

 How to get rid of from this:
1. Firstly you need to strong your security.
2. Need to wear your personal Avatar.
3. Verify your phone and email.

I think your ambition or focus towards people who are in needs of merit is good, these will trigger other people who don't want to resurrect from death in this community to weak up by force, because by the time someone that registered account with you earn a merit that will enable him/her to enroll to another position,those that have lower merit will think that someone in forum hate them or against them, the answer is "no" because is activeness of user and it's research and quality post make someone in community to be accelerated.

A story of a newbie

I registered on this site in February 2016. The rank up will then be through activities so that you can easily change your rank. I did too. But after a while I stopped coming online. I came back in June or July 2020. I logged in to the forum, some of my posts and messages were deleted and I saw the newbie location. And then I realized that now the position is formed based on my qualifications.

If you wanted to get motivated do things first that will help you get motivated.

In my case I had already had high activity when the time I decided and wanting to rank up I made some threads that help me earn merits. This is why I got my rank now fortunately I just earn the merits recently because before while my activity is low i just did was participating discussions and not getting any merits.

The best way for you to earn is to join giveaway merits so.that merit source can give consideration on your posts and reward you with it.

That would be the time you will get motivated.

Often times we have to post relevant and contribute to people in this forum I'm sure the merit will be earned and each person's judgment will give merit to the person who gave a good idea.
I always follow the discussion in this forum and look for how to get merit either by way of giveaway or with quality posts and still at the core of providing insight to people so it will be an opportunity to get merit.

It’s basically stored in a digital wallet/account being operated from a mobile device and its security embedded there also. In creating Defi wallet or block chain account no available section for next of kin or third party details Its always advised to keep Recovery Phrase details secret  in save location, these will help in recovering the wallet.

Literally bitcoin details remain secret and personal to me. If I continue to keep my details secret of what use would it be to me when I’m no more and my love ones can’t benefit from my bitcoin? Here is my question what happens to the bitcoin of someone who died and didn’t disclose his/her wallet details to anyone? please I need response . Would the bitcoin be abandoned in the wallet forever?? Would it be a waste of bitcoin?
