Title: If in Canada Vancouver, I'll ask for Escrow for this Service, & Pay $500+
Post by: Aojeple on July 14, 2020, 02:19:04 AM
Hello Everyone.

This is a new account, so I insist on escrow  :)

Look, my cat died this week. And I fell in love instantly with a cat I saw online.
Its basically impossible for me to accomplish this task.

But if there is anyone in Canada Vancouver, and is willing to drive to Edmonton pick up a cat, and drive back to Canada Vancouver.
And deliver this cat to me.

I'll pay $500-$1000 in Bitcoin. Just ask the price  :)
I'll pay dearly for it.

I ask for escrow service, and upon me receiving the cat and confirming it, I'll ask the escrow to release the funds. I know some are in Cananda Vancouver on Bitcointalk
And sure someone here could help me with this. I need you to contact the person, arrange a time to pick up the cat, pick it up, and deliver.

You'll say: But Why this Cat, get some other cat closer to your location
Because it has to be this one, I'm paying who cares, and it looks identical to my cat when it was younger. I fell in love  :-\

Sure, but do you even have funds for this task?

I am going to sign an address, and prove I have access to greater then $1000 in Bitcoins, and add it to this post (Within 60 Minutes from now)

I can't do it myself but if I am able to arrange a deal for you can I take $100-200 from the 500 and you pay rest 400-500 to the person I arrange, is that ok?

 Dude,

It's at least a 12 hour drive one way.  That poor cat is going to need a couple of pit stops some food, water and possibly an overnight stay at a pet-friendly motel.
Why don't you save the poor kitty the trauma of a long boring drive through the middle of nowhere Canada listening to a Stompin' Tom marathon on the radio and fly the cat live cargo to Vancouver?
You'll say: But WHY only pay a couple hundred bucks to fly the cat when I can find someone to take 100-200 to find someone else to drive the cat for 400-800?!  Oh right, you're paying so who cares?

Look, I'd do it myself for the money you're offering but it would mean driving from Vancouver to Edmonton and back to Vancouver as opposed to Edmonton to Vancouver and back to Edmonton as you requested.  Plus I'm afraid I might fall in love with that cutie and not be able to part with it after spending 12 hours together listening to Stompin' Tom.

...but seriously, look into using Air Canada or Westjet.

I think I've seen you on Shark Tank!  For the money you're siphoning off the top, he could ship the kitty via live-air cargo.

I don't know what is Shark Tank.

I am not doing anything illegal as from my understanding because he said he loves a cat and it is being offered somewhere and I am just trying to find a local who can help him, how am I doing anything illegal?

Did I say you were doing anything illegal?
Shark Tank is a reality TV series.  A bunch of savvy investors offer people money and/or their expertise for a share of their business or idea... or they tell them to pound sand if the idea sucks.  You're Kevin O'Leary squared.

It looks quite young...
- How old is this kitten? Less than 8 weeks?

It appears you forgot to do this ;)

@Aojeple

  • I would suggest changing the subject field to something like "[WTH] Someone in Canada (pick up in Edmonton/Delivery in Vancouver)"
    - Might help in getting more attention.
  • You might want to try persuading the seller for meeting halfway [it's way too far].
