Title: looking for a 0.2 BTC loan
Post by: sir_monopoly on July 15, 2020, 01:42:49 AM
I can pay it in a month, sending 0.06 weekly for a total of 0.24 which's 20% interest.

we can do the deal at www.localbitcoin.com, where you can check that my identity is verified and that I been using it for the last 4 years.

If your LBC account is verified then do a personal deal there. Why ask here without posting a signed message that you are the same owner of the account there?

Anybody can impersonate a trusted user on LBC and ask for loan pretending to be that person. This is the internet and the only rule here is verify before trusting.

Alternatively you can get a loan if you offer a valid collateral. Read here the OP and Vod's reply as well- [EDU] The Rule of "No Collateral, No Loan" - IGNORE AT YOUR OWN RISK! (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=577765.0)

Still, you came here to ask for a loan and not there, as TheUltraElite mention... Besides lbc accounts is well known that is not the best way to verify your id and is not consider to the slightest as valid collateral here. So unless you have something valid to offer, better to lock your thread and look elsewhere.

LB it's just a platform to buy or sell, no for loans. That's why I came here.

I already know that. The question is though why you said that you can make the deal there? :-\

1)Because I don't have any reputation here or any verification.

2)Also if something wrong happens there I'm already on the second tier of verification, which after the KYC regulation allows me to trade over 200k on that page.

3)Because of that level of verification if I do any fraud you can report it to the following pages and localbitcoins gonna give to the interpol all my info plus all the information of all of my 500+ trades of the las 3 years.

-https: //www.interpol.int/es/Crime-areas/Cybercrime/Cybercrime

and

Thats why. ;)

Where is the signed message that proves that your account namely - sir_monopoly (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=2829629) and your LBC account are operated by the same user?

That is the first step if you want to even pledge yourself as the owner, because it is the only intangible proof. Even then lenders would prefer to receive a collateral for a loan as big as 1800$ of BTC.

So? What this has to do with your loan request? Trying to convince us that you will lose your tier if you default? That's a big joke.

I can report you to the following authorities even if you take a loan from here. The issue though is how much time (and money/ effort) I will need and how much time they will need to track you and catch you. Ofc there is always the fact that if you don't have my money, then I won't get anything. In simple words Lbc will not hunt you down for this, the lender have to do it.
That's why we ask for valid collateral and no accounts or dox from anywhere. So unless you have something to cover the lender asap, then better lock your thread and move on.

Each thief judges based on his own condition, if you think I'm trying to scam someone its just because you think that's what you gonna do in my possition :-*

mind your own business and try to be less rude with new people in the community, you was also new in some point.

You start it wrong. Each individual, not a thief. You don't even talk right and you start with what you are, congrats. ;)

You think that I'm rude because I argue the bs that you say, to justify that you are here asking for free money? :D
Wait a bit longer (witch I dought that you will) and you will get more. And yes, I was a noob like all the others but I didn't ask for a loan in my 1st post...

Last time reminder: Offer valid collateral or lock your thread. 8)

P.S: I miss TMAN these times...

Effectively, you're given "identity" as collateral. As if we didn't know that documents could have been easily-bought, just like LocalBitcoins accounts. And oh, hey! It only took me about 15 seconds to find an LBC account being sold on this very forum: Localbitcoin Verified Personal Account (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5260641) from July 7th.
What a pity that we can't trust people. I wonder if it's because the true identity of the user could be literally anyone... ::)

Unfortunately, you are right about both. You can easily find a "verified" LBC account for sale as you can't trust people almost in anything. Especially on the web.
On the other hand, we can be optimistic since we have met people online who were and are trustworthy. ;)

For me though, the worse part is to use emotional pressure with fake rl events and issues.
