Another good news this year is about PayPal involvement in crypto currency, imagine how easier mass adoption will become if PayPal implement crypto payment? https://i.imgur.com/DJoQhfP.jpg I even believe that Decentralized Finance and Stable coins will play major role too So far.....So good with crypto, at least we are getting some where, step by step, bit by bit Title: Re: Crypto mass adoption closing in Post by: TastyChillySauce00 on July 15, 2020, 09:05:24 AM will it be a threat for defi as it can grab all of the demand that already around the DEFI that exist in the crypto ecosystem? I doubt if that will bring a good impact on the crypto.
If Paypal tries to adopt crypto and what will be happening with the project that focuses to create a payment gateway for crypto? Title: Re: Crypto mass adoption closing in Post by: Iyanu14 on July 15, 2020, 09:11:28 AM Very pleasant news to hear anyway. I want to believe that all these and many more positive moves to create mass adoption for crypto will definitely come into reality, because we've heard of many news like this that later died down. It is the joy of everyone in the space for news like this to come into reality. Kudos to Binance and everyone making efforts in the mass adoption of crypto.

If Paypal tries to adopt crypto and what will be happening with the project that focuses to create a payment gateway for crypto? they can still launch their own payment gateway since they are offering almost the same services . Paypal will only dominate because it already has many user's . The possible scenario is the adoption of crypto may increase because one of the largest online payment PayPal is adopting crypto services . And the users of that platform can now easily buy crypto using that platform and they have a lot of user's thats why I think it's still a good news since mass adoption is what crypto currency need to have many investors. Are they going to apologize for that previous situation now that they are going to integrate crypto services? Although this news may delight many if there is a partnership between Binance and Paypal, but also there is a fear of switching to centralization after Binance purchases and controls many electronic payment services and third-party services for cryptocurrencies. Can you put the news link? As Binance users since 2017, I can say that Binance never stops to innovate from the simple and humble beginning to one of the crypto industry giants. On the Paypal side well as we all know that Paypal has millions of users for me it will possibly bring more positive development to the entire industry as well. Adoption will come, but we shouldn't be forcing the issue here. We have more leg room here, 5-10 years down the line. I would rather see the market mature instead of third party like Paypal, who by the way, was anti-bitcoin, but suddenly chance their stance because of one reason - the potential profit they can make from us.

I'm fine with PayPal making every pennies they can from crypto spenders but it will be a massive eye opening for the world, this will make crypto become widely used by people who even don't know about crypto till this day jump right in, it seems you are only looking at what PayPal will make from this and not the impact it will have on crypto.Title: Re: Crypto mass adoption closing in Post by: iv4n on July 15, 2020, 10:11:47 AM They are late for party in my opinion, they were against bitcoin, against entire crypto, and like that for years, and suddenly they changed their mind? If established enterprise like Paypal would integrate crypto buying, selling and trading within their platform, people would find it much easier to go with as they'll feel it better to buy using the interface they are familiar with. And as they get used to it, they'll look for better alternatives promoting overall crypto adoption. They are the most active IMO on bringing or helping the adoption in the crypto space, their platform has been bridging easy transaction between fiat and crypto and that's really the key for the future success, so kudos to the team for their passion to make this crypto a bigger world and a better world to live. But now I have to admit that they have done a lot for the cryptocurrency users. And I would say one more thing. The adoption of cryptocurrency itself is still running, and it has good progress depend on a few years ago because people now can accept that they have another payment system that they can use to pay. But until the government allows the cryptocurrency for the payment, people cannot use crypto everywhere, including in the local store, because people don't want to break the law.

Take note that Paypal has ~300 Million users worldwide. An adoption of crypto in Paypal will be a huge boost for the crypto as a whole. Well, lets just hope that this will turn the tides into where is Bitcoin heading to. We saw Bitcoin's price going sideways for weeks already and we don't know where it will go if it is up or down :X. Title: Re: Crypto mass adoption closing in Post by: IvugeoEvolutionCoin on July 15, 2020, 12:47:54 PM There is a saying that "Rome wasn't built in a day" and this applies to crypto adoption. If actually PayPal embed crypto payments, it's going to foster adoption with a great margin. In as much as DEFI is giving crypto more and more exposure due to people gaining interest, we still need security/audition projects like Quanstamp to ensure smart contracts for instance have no security issues. This is because aside regulations, security is another area drawing crypto back from mass adoption. We also need regulations enacted and better products from crypto projects which can be used mainstream.

Title: Re: Crypto mass adoption closing in Post by: Shallow on July 15, 2020, 10:15:07 PM These are very encouraging news and/or update for everyone in the crypto space. Starting with Binance card, it is a clear definition of a team with focus who want to touch every aspect worthy of crypto and its mass adoption. I believe with this card, there will be easy access to crypto, now imagine what that means for the entire crypto space in general, it means massive attention coming from the best crypto exchange. On the other hand, in the case of PayPal, it is also a welcome addition because it can now be seen that crypto will continue growing and all the world can do is to get involved. I also see it as PayPal trying to keep up their competitive advantage before another platform beats them to it. Furthermore I also agree with you, mass adoption is really closing in.
Title: Re: Crypto mass adoption closing in Post by: ZincUnrated on July 15, 2020, 10:23:34 PM Absolutely very true.. Several projects have been at the forefront of this drive and push trying to bring the mainstream and several key sectors into blockchain and the enormous potentials of cryptocurrency. This is beginning to yield friuts with several penetration of blockchain currently going on. Its only a matter of time before it becomes fully adopted.

Title: Re: Crypto mass adoption closing in Post by: joshua123 on July 16, 2020, 07:07:20 AM If Paypal will collaborate on the new Binance card then it will be a big adoption on financial aspect. I do remember that Binance only tweeting about it few weeks ago but now its real. They already rolling cards on europe and Uk. Hopefully it could be used for global already cause a lot of users will surely signed up for it.
Paypal decision is positive and this will start a good era for crypto and blockchain. Title: Re: Crypto mass adoption closing in Post by: DDante on July 16, 2020, 07:14:50 AM As big as Paypal company is they can't do this alone, we need more than Paypal to start making crypto useful for means of payment all around the world, Binance will surely do something too, I knew about two other companies that are taking this steps too
1. Blockcard 2. Alchemypay Title: Re: Crypto mass adoption closing in Post by: Lantind on July 16, 2020, 07:21:32 AM All hope on binance team, they can do better in helping crypto gain mass adoption, I don't trust PayPal yet not until they actually take real actions, presently it's all words, they will do this, they will do that, action speaks louder than voice Yes, speaking is easy, but doing what has been said is not easy, because every plan and concept will always run smoothly if there are no obstacles and obstacles when implemented, but if there are suddenly obstacles or obstacles, then the plan that has been prepared obviously will be changed in order to be successful, so acting is not as easy as talking.Title: Re: Crypto mass adoption closing in Post by: judeafante on July 16, 2020, 07:30:50 AM Everything with crypto keeps getting better, thanks to binance, the team and CEO isn't aiming for their pockets only but helping crypto in general, they understand how important mass adoption is for crypto to survive in future, now I heard binance card is getting launched soon, thank you binance and team Another good news this year is about PayPal involvement in crypto currency, imagine how easier mass adoption will become if PayPal implement crypto payment? https://i.imgur.com/DJoQhfP.jpg I even believe that Decentralized Finance and Stable coins will play major role too So far.....So good with crypto, at least we are getting some where, step by step, bit by bit Binance and Paypal can help the cause of Cryptocurrency adoption, we have seen how Paypal rules the traditional payment and they are goign to make a lot of innovation now that they are here now in Cryptocurrency, they have the experience and the expertise to do this, they will compete with each other but it will be a healthy competition. Title: Re: Crypto mass adoption closing in Post by: cryptomaniac_xxx on July 16, 2020, 11:13:58 AM I will be a contrarian here, we appreciate CZ's effort, but it looks like he really taken so much control and power and it is growing by the day. What? I'm fine with PayPal making every pennies they can from crypto spenders but it will be a massive eye opening for the world, this will make crypto become widely used by people who even don't know about crypto till this day jump right in, it seems you are only looking at what PayPal will make from this and not the impact it will have on crypto.Title: Re: Crypto mass adoption closing in Post by: Gunday_07 on July 16, 2020, 11:18:20 AM I like that OP talked about binance first because I think binance is the only exchange working towards bringing crypto adoption to reality, PayPal can't be trusted yet but if it eventually happens then crypto is going places, mass adoption will takes place

However, the major obstacle at the moment at the present time is the regulation of banking institutions and governments around the world. Thus, the bureaucratic system of laws in the world is the primary impediment today for cryptocurrencies.

Yes, I wonder how banking institutions and governments would take this move by Binance and soon Paypal too. I think we're only at the beginning as this pandemic occupied a lot of thing so they hasn't realize it yet.Title: Re: Crypto mass adoption closing in Post by: MikeyVeez on July 16, 2020, 02:07:38 PM Also one of the smartest investors in the world talked about cryptocurrencies as one of the safest assets. I am talking about Robert Kiyosaki, who told me that Bitcoin is probably a better investment than gold, but he didnīt recommend it to newbies because it is still highly volatile.

The people who uses this system will be the best basis for mass adoptions to take place, success start with those true believers. However, the major obstacle at the moment at the present time is the regulation of banking institutions and governments around the world. They don't see the benefits yet, and also, they are not getting favor that's why they are still in denial to adopt the system. Thus, the bureaucratic system of laws in the world is the primary impediment today for cryptocurrencies. No question but in due time it will succeed and implementations and adoptions will happen along the way. Title: Re: Crypto mass adoption closing in Post by: enhu on July 16, 2020, 05:49:50 PM so far it's just news. Paypal needs to be able to implement the use of cryptocurrencies in its service and face into problems with the interaction with the authorities. I think so too. Until it doesn't happen yet it will just remain as a rumor. There isn't yet that is coming if it were real the people would have been buying Bitcoin buy now which the price could have gone up but instead falling since that news come. I have to admit that we need major payment services like paypal to pump up the crypto market. |
