Title: Non-risky investments
Post by: criptogenie on July 18, 2020, 02:34:10 PM
Hi. I'm looking to explore non-risky investments that can pull a decent return. I'm not looking for extremely long term, like decades, but I'm not looking short term either. Investment ideas outside of bitcoin are also very welcome.

None.

Thats the short version of it. If you are looking to make money you HAVE TO take some risk on your shoulders. More the risk more then possible reward and more devastating the possible loss.

Compare how much risk you are willing to take and you can move from bank deposits to stock/commodities to derivatives and finally gambling on a rough low risk to high risk scale.

If you are looking for a good return then its impossible for you to find that kind of investment without any risk. Even buying a share on stocks also have a risk even staying it in bank will also have a risk of losing it.

But I have a suggestion  but I cannot call it investment , you can try staking crypto currency in that way you can earn free crypto for just storing it in your wallet  . Not guaranteed since the price of any crypto currency is volatile  but you can try.

Gonna toss my hat into the bin regarding Bitcoin as an investment: remember that Bitcoin is not your typical investment. It's a technological advancement in money: your finances can look at Bitcoin not as a "stock" but as a new form of asset. Another currency.

Do be aware that the same key fundamentals that make Bitcoin extremely volatile but also worth examining may not be the same for alternative cryptocurrencies that you encounter across the crypto space. "Low market cap and technologically advanced" does not necessarily translate to massive returns. Sometimes, there is a catch, so be sure to research things deeply.

Every investment is risky so you can't really find an investment that doesn't have the risk of losing your funds especially here in cryptocurrency or bitcoin.

Even when you are just starting a business it is always a gamble, if you wanted a non-risky thing you could just go and save funds, something like saving money in the bank would work.

Let me re-phrase, I'm looking for investments that involve some form of risk, but ones that are worth to invest in. Some investments are risky for low reward, I'm seeking the risk-to-reward ratio where it is reasonable to indulge.

But I have a suggestion  but I cannot call it investment , you can try staking crypto currency in that way you can earn free crypto for just storing it in your wallet  . Not guaranteed since the price of any crypto currency is volatile  but you can try.

I'm not familiar with what you mean by staking crypto? I'm interested, can you explain more in depth?

Wouldn't that make bitcoin a risky investment since it's very volatile? What about non-crypto more main-stream investments? I have a substantial capital, not enough for large investments like starting a business, but more than small play-money.

If you want non risky investments in Crypto market then it's not so easy to find out suck projects except top altcoins.
But I will suggest you to make own business or product that will be safe for you.But don't go for altcoin investment at all.Because most of the altcoins will be vanished in future.

I think everything is clear. All members answer that all investments have risks.
Whether it's investing in the crypto market (high risk) or investing in property, bonds, gold, etc.
The path you can take is to minimize or reduce the percentage of risk on each investment.

Long-term investment will be better and more profitable. Do not expect too much short-term investment with more income.
Because such investments are mostly fraud, ponzi, money game etc.

If you are looking for money investment that has nk risk, we could not give you any of that. There are no money investments that has 0 risk.
Well if you really wanted to make investment without the risk of losing money, then find a job. You just need your time and your efforts there. It is profitable. You can't lose any money ;)

The answer here is no.
If there's, then everyone will be rich by now. There's always a risk in every every investment and you should know that as an investor.
Banks investment, stocks, shares are all risky. You can do your own research and stop looking to take financial advice from people on internet.

Their is rather a non level of investment without risk. Risk is the beauty of investment. You dive in without knowing the outcome to be so certain.
Research, take a step and manage the risk.

There are no safe investments. It is full of risk, you cannot assure that once you open your investment you will earn immediately.

  • Business - Not all the time once you stand up your business there are a lot of people will buy all the things you are selling.
  • Investment - The market is volatile let's say you want to make an investment on 9k mark then the market price fall to gain back your earning you need to wait or hodl.

Investment is full of risk but there is another way to earn even you already have a risk and that is avoiding this and learn from the mistakes.

Investment = full of risk. To reduce it avoid and learn from mistake = lessen the risk.

Its hard to find investment that have no risk and may never exist if you want to invest in cryptocurrency. All investment have different risk depending on the instrument you are investing in and you should already know it.

If you want to invest in cryptocurrency, you must accept all the risk involved and you can only minimize these risk in the way that has been suggested. If you want an investment that is not risky in cryptocurrency, then this investment is not right for you. As an alternative advice for you, try investing in other instrument such as bank deposito, gold investment, property, and several other instrument that may have lower risk compared to cryptocurrency.

Do not expect something of an investment that will earn bigger profits without risk.

However, efforts, objectives and get motivated enables any investment to success. I advise you to do online selling. It may be hard to gain profits at first but when your enjoy doing it then there would be no problem. I never thought that I will have some fun selling though I am not earning that much but since I got a lot of free time then I learn to do it. I have made a variety of products to sell from different supplier. It is likely to get motivated to reply lots of inquiries when you earn. Profits is the best motivation.

A decent low-cost S&P500 ETF like Vanguard's VTI or VOO are probably the safest investment(in a 20-year span) that you can make with decent returns(around 8% annually on average). If you're looking for something similar in the cryptocurrency space, unfortunately there are none. No matter how good of an investment bitcoin is(in our opinion), I still wouldn't put it under "non-risky investments".

You are looking for a NON-RISKY investment but also want it for SHORT TERM which is very hard to find. Rather there are no good investments which give you good returns in short term. You need to wait for a longer duration in order to get the benefit. If you see a program offering a lot of ROI in short period of time, it will probably be a scam.

If you are looking for a good return without taking a risk, you can't find a good website for that, all investment website is risky because there is no assurance that you will receive a good return for it, you may lose and you may win as well but you can't predict what will your future in the investment. If you want to make money, you have to take a risk, that's normal in the world of cryptocurrency. If you earn money without taking a risk don't try any investment website because it would be impossible to find a website that has no risk.

Indeed, both cryptocurrency and fiat currency are risky, you have to know first how risky to invest in both things before trying it.

There's no risk-free investment but there are low-risk investments. Dividend Stocks in the stock market, corporate, and government bonds.
Time-deposit in the banks. Well, these are the investments that have low-risk but don't expect high returns with them if you have a small amount of capital to invest with.

I think investments with minimal risk will require more time so that investor get maximum return and this investment is commonly referred to as a long term investment. I only take gold investments and bank deposito as examples. So far I think P2P Lending is a good choice for him. The profit sharing system offered will vary but the OP must choose the right platform as a way to get good security.

Like what they have said, there is no such thing as no risk when it comes to investment. If you ever find some promotion that says it's free from risk, there's a high possibility that it's just an investment scam trying to lure people with their so-called "risk-free" investment with high return.

There's no gain without taking any risk. You can make your investment in cryptocurrency, stock, property, and such, depending on the capital you have and your preferences. But all of them contain risk so better research and study the market before investing.

In those investments that I've mentioned, you are right. It requires a lot of time and if you wish to get a better profit, you need to allocate a higher capital which is always the principle in investing in these low-risk investments. Bank deposits don't have high interest and that's very low risk but with guaranteed percentage of return. P2P lending can be a good try for him but he needs to be careful and strict with whom he'll allow borrowing from him.

If you want to invest in crypto, then dont expect you to get an investment without risk. The main risk that is very easy for you to know is the price issue. The price of cryptocurrency has never been stable because of its volatile nature. Then you will also be faced with a security risk where the crypto world is very many people who are trying to fool you with various investment system. The security of your assets will be your full responsibility.

When you decide to invest, you also have to accept various risk. Without risk it may not be an investment but can be said to be a deposit.

I suggest that you take the time to learn a little bit about trading and investing in general as the ideas that you have could easily lead you to be scammed in the future, it is easy to think there should be a way of investing or trading with no risk but that is simply no true, this is why risk management is a thing, you can reduce your risk but you cannot ever eliminate it.

Besides if you are really looking to minimize your risk then you should really look at long term investments, and yet it seems you do not want to look into them, so before you invest a single dollar you need to really think about what you truly want.

It is still an investment to begin with.  OP need to buy (invest) the token he wanted to stake.  An empty crypto wallet will never stake anything.  Staking will take sometime pretty much years before you double your staking token. And unless you rent a vps and setup a staking wallet or deposit your coins to a staking site, you need to open your wallet regularly to stake your coins/token.

If you wanted to invest in cryptocurrency, and does not intend to hold for a long term, trading may suit your case but you need a lot of time studying to mastering it.

Non risky investments with a good return are really scare at the moment. The low interest rates for a long time pressured banks hardly, so leaving your cash at the banks doesn't really offer any returns. Same for bonds, the prices are really high and there is not a lot of return without going into high risk investments. Same for stocks, just buying ETFs won't bring a lot of return at the moment.

I would not recommend any long term investments at the moment. If you really want a low risk profile, better to just hold cash for now and see how the corona pandemic plays out. Maybe there will some price drops after all. But if you really want to invest, I would recommend to be a bit more aggresive and take some risk to get decent returns.

There must be some risk everywhere in investment. When you expect good returns you will not find any place to invest without risk. You may be able to reduce your risk by checking and sorting, but you will not be able to make it completely risk free.

And you have to wait a long time to get profit from the investments in which the risk is a bit less. You don't have to expect quick profits here, you have to plan for the long term.

You won't find out non-risky investments in this world. There will be always risks even you invest in gold, land, or stablecoins. The risks aren't always about the fluctuation in prices but it is also probably related to security and the potential of price growth in the future. For example, the price of gold isn't always rising up but sometimes it is declining and not really different than crypto investment. While stablecoins, its price won't improve significantly, then we can't expect big profits by investing in that coins. Instead, maybe the price of stablecoins can drop once the value of USD decreases in the future. Also, investing in the land has a risk that the price can drop if we buy land in a bad location. This may happen and we probably don't get a profitable investment.

I doubt that you can able to find an investment that doesn't have risk attached on it whether it is outside of cryptocurrency or not. Upon seeking profit through different ways such as trading and investment risk is inevitable specially in crypto knowing of having unstable behavior. Besides, risk can be in good terms sometimes, just like what others said the higher the risk it has the more profit it will have. Hence, if you are looking for non-risky way of earning probably investment wasn't an option.

All investments have a risk they are like placing a bet because there is always a chance to lose. But some investments have a lower risk. I think one of the most secure investments is to know the right way to hold your coins. That way you can just buy altcoins and hold them until they bump. But here the risk is to wait a long period for that to happen. So, play it smart and chose wisely.

Where there is no guarantee of life, it is foolish to ask for a guarantee of your investment. You may find Low-Risk investment, but there is nothing without risk…. I think you want to know about investing in the crypto market. I invest 50% of my investment on crypto market, and keep my another 50% as backup. If ever the crypto market collapses, I try to recover the loss with my backup money. There are many types of trading plan, 1st learn about market indicators and try to get a good skill how to use trading indicators, then make your decision.
