Title: Scammers everywhere Newbies please stay vigilant
Post by: Timmzzy on July 20, 2020, 06:03:05 AM
Greetings all and happy new week, now let's look into this, I believe we all remember COINPOT WALLET: https://coinpot.co back when we accumulate (mining) some coin like BITCOIN, DOGECOIN, DASH COIN, LITECOIN, AND BITCOIN CASH. probably it also can be used as a wallet you can store up your coin, but I don't give a full guarantee to store huge amount of funds at any online wallet. So let's cut the long explanation short I came across this on Facebook please take a look at the images below:

The scammer added "S" in between the Coin and the pot, when I click on the link it took me to a page where everything didn't load up clearly. You can also see in the picture he tag it as GIVEAWAY, just like twitter accounts were hacked and was also tag in the description as GIVEAWAY.

Now here is the real COINPOT  WALLET looks below:
1. https://pasteboard.co/JitS2jr.png
2. https://pasteboard.co/JitSsIH.png
3. https://pasteboard.co/JitSG9x.png

You can see few coins have been saving probably minding back when am newbies into crypto-currency

Please let's be vigilant on everything online that got to do with storing of money or let's say giveaways!

Not sure if this format applies to all domains, but you can report the website through this link - https://supportcenter.godaddy.com/AbuseReport#
Select; Phishing, and then ~ I wish to report a website that is posing as another website.
The more reports it gets the better.

I think there is a little misunderstanding here, the first image you provide was not refer to coinpot.co but coinspot web-wallet (https://www.coinspot.com.au/).
Here is their official facebook page
Code:
https://web.facebook.com/coinspotau
Indeed they have similar name but they are different platform, such as satoshidice.com and satoshidice.io (already changed to cryptodice.io (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5245423.msg54825426#msg54825426))

Anyway, nice catch. It is obviously a scam website so never try to input any of your data there.
As reference you can this tool report they IP address https://www.abuseipdb.com/
