Title: Can someone pay with their Card or PayPal? [Done]
Post by: Rohan Kotkar on July 22, 2020, 07:29:12 PM
I want to buy a premium subscription for tradingview.com but it only has "Credit card" or "PayPal" payment options amd unfortunately I don't have both.

Can someone pay for me?
I will pay equivalent+ $2 for help via btc.

Yours sincerely,
Rohan Kotkar

(I can escrow the funds first)

Subscriptions are tricky, some may end up paying it in the following months or years too automatically from their card. I don't know if it's the case, but this kind of problem makes people avoid this kind of deals.
This being said, you may consider checking services that offer Visa/Mastercard debit/prepaid cards you can top up with crypto. AdvCash may have virtual cards too.

Whats the amount you have to pay for subscription?
Check my thread - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5256754.0
You can buy a vcc from me or use free Vouch copy if the amount is 2€ or less.

edit: Checked and premium subscription will be 59.95$ , my vcc price for that is 64.6$ btc
I opt for monthly premium which is somewhat near $15
Your charges too seems a bit high. Thanks anyways

I've got no such intentions. And also, IMO premium can't be paid without the authentication of the card holder. But yet, you just highlighted one of the drawback why somone would not pay for me. Also the suggestion you gave must work for me. I've registered kn AdvCash and my account is under verification. Hopefully I would make the purchase from the VCC given by AdvCash. Thanks for your help.

Rohan you can easily sign up on paypal with your e-mail.

Just submit that e-mail at the time of paying the subscription amount and you will be given choices to add your card details (even if it's debit) it will work.

From your name it seems you are from India.

Indian PayPal has thought this through and given various choices.

It's just a suggestion, it will save your bucks and escrow stuff.

Yes, I'm from India.

And, I do have a PayPal account but years ago I recieved 10$ via PayPal which I never was able to withdraw which made me hate PayPal. I've got no use of PayPal.

Even for the current transaction, I'd prefer paying with a card rather than PayPal.

I'm counting on AdvCash currently. Hope it works.

Currently the norms has been changed for Indian-PayPal.

RBI do not allow to keep the money on paypal. So if you anyway receive the payments on PayPal then they will be sent your Indian Bank account immediately. Checkout my account's screenshot below:

It's very easy though.

AdvCash is good.

Try AirTM if thats an option there.

Advcash won't be of much help since the virtual card is only available for users from EU, Turkey and Israel. Here are some alternatives I'd like to suggest:

- Bitcoin is available as a payment method in TradingView, just not when paying monthly, maybe switch to the annual plan?
- If TradingView accepts prepaid cards, you can use Coinsbee  (https://www.coinsbee.com/en/Mastercard-bitcoin)to buy a few, and then change the card each 3 months period, since the highest demonisation is 50 USD.
- Find someone who sells PayPal in the currency exchange (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=53.0) board, and ask him to do it for you.

Even though the norms have been changed yet I do not feel like going for PayPal. I can't forget few queries I've heard in the past where the payment reflects back after few days.

Frankly speaking, I don't feel safe with PayPal whereas cryptos always amaze me with their exciting features. By no chance, I'm going back to PayPal so it would never be a option for me.

I was entirely depending on the AdvCash platform and expecting I'd get a card there which can be used to make a purchase on tradingview. I was not knowing the fact that they only avail the VC for limited countries which unfortunately I do not live in. Thanks for saving my time.

Coming back to annual plan, I do not really feel it appropriate as I've already calculated my plans and have made my mind to pay monthly premiums with my profits. It makes it easy to handle the profits. One time payment for the entire year would be a drawback for me.

I've just gave Coinsbee a shot. Just purchased a GC for prepaid mastercard 25$ though the amount I need is $15. Expecting it works. Will edit this post later.
Just now recieved the serial code.

edit: I just got a prepaid mastercard loaded with $25
I've successfully bought a 1 month subscription for tradingview. Thanks to you @OmegaStarScream
