We are open to suggestions in terms of fonts.

It's a CONTEST, Last day for the submission is the 03rd 07th August 2020, 13:59 CEST (Deadline extended one unique time due to less submissions received) .

PLEASE POST YOUR LOGOS here (different ideas, different variations. You can post many times).

At the end of the contest, we will select the designer having brought the best idea and we will work closely to finalize the design.

The designer will get the 0.01445 BTC to the wallet address he will provide. The payment will be done after the logo is finalized and will be processed directly by bL4nkcode (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=765632).

Currently we have a temporary logo on the website. So please don't take it as reference but follow the website colors - actually orange/grey/black.


NOTE:

• If your entry is quoted with the comment "not good", it means that your design can't be considered at all for the contest. Try something new!
• When there is no comment, it simply means "good luck"! You can still send more different designs to have better chance and it's recommended! We might make some comments to give you some tips.
• Please avoid unnecessary/off-topic comments. Focus on the contest and get that prize!

Better to use forum escrow (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=276897.0) to secure the contest's funds, doing such from a newbie account is too skeptical for a reason of not getting paid after delivering the output. We don't even know if you're official staff of the exchange.

Instead of doing a contest why not hired logo designer to make you one?

The budget you give for contest is too low to have their interest unless you plan to increase it so many logo designer will join the contest.

From the marketing point of view, it is not a bad idea to make such contest. It has to be done properly though, and not the way OP made it so far.


You might as well increase it to 500 USD for that matter, but it won't worth much unless you get someone to escrow prize pool. Since you said that you want to get as many designers as possible, that is the only way any decent designer would join, since you are brand new account with no reputation here on bitcointalk forum. Honestly, I never even heard about Coinsbox exchange.

Please point us to whoever can escrow the payment price.
It's a new exchange, thats why you didn't hear about it before :-)

Contests are good as it makes designers be more creative and pushes them to submit excellent work in order to have a chance to win. Also, it goves the company options to choose from.

I would recommend Jayce as well if they wanted to hire a designer, although he is not opposed to joining contests.

I'm sure the OP appreciates you guys ideas, but in the end it is their decision. Join or don't join.

I’ve received a message regarding this escrow and have advised that the prize be changed from a USD amount to a BTC amount for simplification purposes. I wanted to state that so if he does decide to change the prize from USD to BTC you can blame me.

However the design, if the logo must contain the letter "COINSBOX" in full you'll always need a long space to put the logo. Except, you're also welcome to design an iconic vector logo that can represent the name of the site.

Try two things:

1) Take same design and have text as COINSBOX (capital letters) instead of coinsbox

2) Try an other version of 1) where you have the sign in the "Coloring" state instead of "Finishing" state

and..

3) Feel free to make more submissions to get more chance!

Have you used the application "Blender" to render the interface of this logo? It looks real to the extent that it exist in an actual building.

Actually it is a logo mock-up for Photoshop. You can get this mock-up for free by searching on Google. But I think the original version you will get in freepik.com or shutterstock with premium license.

Thanks for the heads up. This is interesting to study how these mock up designs was created by looking at the layers presented on some of the editable files on the internet. If you could apply it on using photoshop, "masking" is the most appropriate method to come up with this beautiful design.

ohh... this is not the best... However at the end there should be one winner, regardless if he/she belongs to a group of designers or not.
We want to see creativity.

Unfortunately  we haven't seen enough submissions so far.

Review please the space between the symbol and the logo, on the horizontal version. It's currently a way too far. It should be clear that they belong together. Resubmit it again please. That's one thing.

Try also following:
Try if it's possible to "integrate" the C of Coinsbox with the black part of the symbol (just as idea).

Here is my idea for Coinsbox exchange logo.
I was inspired by circular shape of coins, first letters, box square shape, trading symbols and growth progress.
Logo is high vector quality and it is looking good in all sizes and backgrounds.

Actually the reason why I put a little far space between the symbol and project name is because the symbol initially supposed to be a proper rhombus and then gets folded, and I thought it's better to keep the space.


However your idea to cut the space is not bad, here is how its look:

That's a nice idea. But due to the difference of the thickness of C and the symbol, I think it wouldn't fit each other. Though maybe I'll give a try to adjust the thickness of either the symbol or the C and see how it looks.

I modify the symbol to replace 'C' and combine it with the whole part by making the symbol thinner, so everything will be fit well.

Hey thanks. I'm sorry if my design's quality is not enough. As a designer both in internet and real life, I often do the presentation that you called as "nice and beautiful words" in every meeting or discussion with my clients, especially for logo, since it will be the identity and value for their company. If you look closely, most of big companies around the world don't use a fancy logo, but the simple one with deep meaning behind it. You should have been aware that log... oh sorry I have talked nonsense too much. Nvm. Good luck mate!

Like the mark, the typo part is kinda odd. It looks like two different people have done it, one did the mark and the other one did the typography. The overall look is not consistent, thickness of typo part and the mark could work better IMO ;). Nothing personal, just constructive criticism :)

Just suggestion for OP.. this contest is lack of transparancy.. you should make screen capture or evidence (just like VOTING POOL, Chat or anything else) in order to proof that the winner is true choise from DEV Team.. the question, why need evidence? Because only 1 winner, no 2nd or 3rd winner.. so all contestant will accept gracefully and feel fairness for this contest..

I think this suggestion is not for this contest only.. maybe to all contest on this forum..

Yes, this would be a good suggestion, I already saw some contest did like this before so why not, right? Also, a reason since the project has only 1 account representative that communicate here, so that's reasonable I guess.

coinsbox opened the contest and he chose the winner. What difference does it make whether the winning design is chosen by the project owner, CEO, dev team or just one guy in charge of marketing?

This is definitely not necessary. OP obviously represents Coinsbox, and speaks in the name of the team. If you don't trust him, why should you trust any evidence he presents as that can be easily fabricated?

They escrowed the funds as suggested, chose the winner and that's about it. By the way I liked your design, imho it was almost as good as @Jayce's submission, but that's how it goes with these contest.

There was really no lack of transparency here. Things were made pretty simple, everyone had opportunity to  be part of it, funds were safe. And You will CONFIRM that the winner is true when the logo will be updated on the website, that should be done hopefully today. If not, tomorrow for sure.
