I am very pleased to see the pumping, Ethereum already crossed $300. I think in running year 2020 Ethereum will hit $1000. What is your opinion?

It's good to see 1 ETH> $300, but I only dare to expect that ETH price will reach $500 in 2020 if ETH 2.0 is really successful. $1,000 is a price too large for the value of ETH at the moment, I'm afraid that ETH is not ready for a collapse right after too high price.

It's a little surprise to see ETH pumps so fast. It's also a disappontment that I was late to buy some more ETH. I have been expected this pump but it came sooner. As of $1000 milestone, I think it's possible but $500 is more likely, providing that ETH's ATH was $1500.

I checked ethereum yesterday in my local time it was 285$ and woke up this morning and checked it and it had reached 305$, ethereum is rising. I have not bought ethereum I am not one to fear out of missing out on crypto-coin. Am still watching ethereum proximally.

When I first glanced at your topic, it gave me an odd feelings, "eth address crossed $300", I think it should be price not address.
The bull market is not coming nearer while crypto enthusiast are still waiting, although this not the first time the market are showing all through green colour, it had happened since last year November, but all went down by about -65%. Eth and other altcoin will fall as soon as possible because the bull run is not yet nearer.

If the current trend follows then $1000 will be possible in next one month or two but the real question is how long the trend is going to be followed.If it is just created due to ethereum 2.0 then we can expect a dump after it which clearly put ethereum under recovery mode for a long time unless the whole crypto market starts to act like bullish.

We either see it surprising pump within these days but I'm not thinking its flows will continue until the end of this year.
$1k is a way too far to take and we know already the real situation. But if we say $500 before we end up this year, it has a chance. This year is not really a bad day for crypto, not actually in a bearish but somehow we feel how hard to make it pump.

Though seems hopeless to reach $1k this year, not a reason why keep trusting Ethereum but because we know that it has strong market potential and we are very interesting to witness it in the near future once the crisis is over.

If you ask me $1000 is still a long way to go. For 2020 I think ether will hover around the price range $450-600 but, if both BTC and ETH have a mega bull run as they had during 2017 & 2018 then I think ETH could touch 4 digit figure.

too fast if you say 1000 $ because we have to look at the price of btc too, usually the price of coins in the top 20 always follows the movement of btc, so it all depends on the btc and market movements also determine whether this will happen.

ETH crossed $300 and bitcoin just crossed $10,000, that's a good combination and a good news for the crypto market.

With bitcoin crossing of 10000$, altcoins have started to move up as well and good news for ETH holders too to see ETH crossing 300$ mark. I am Bullish for ethereum since the start of this year because of 2 things,the  Halving of  bitcoin(that happens last may) and  the  Ethereum Version 2.0 that supposed to be released early this year.

But this Pandemic  make all things hard for everyone so we have no choice but to adopt for a while since market is still recovering.

I don't know whats this Pump ,if legit or trap but i will hold still till the end of 2020.

Yes, it is everybody knows who are playing in crypto then ETH has crossed the $300 mark today and the Bitcoin price is still struggling out to headed over $10,000. As, I am seeing that the moment is very slow so, I think the price won't go more and rebound once again below to the $6000 for the Bitcoin and so also for the Ethereum to reach to $150 gradually. This is not a celebrating moment. Let the price be stable and sustain over $300 at least a month and then take decision.

no, that will not happen. The reason is because our economy is getting worse. Although the economy has loosened on lockdown now, businesses still can not get the same revenue as before. they still suffer losses and more and more businesses filed for bankruptcy in the countries hit by the pandemic. I do not expect much this year, I just hope prices will not drop too sharply in the near future.

If eth does something bigger than that 2017 this year, it will be worth watching. Sooner or later Ethereum is going to hit more price. I like Ethereum because of the smart contract functionality making it very unique. I have read some speculation threads and the predicted price for ETH is 1500$ lets see what happens next.

Its too early to aim for $1000 because many unexpected things can happen. This pump might be for just days and we will see another correction or the price will consistently increase.

I was more concern on Ethereum breaking the 0.03btc than the $300 and the response was due to the news of the release of the test by August 4. There are chances ethereum will climb more but I think the rise of bitcoin with ethereum will help the further movement. There could be indications that whales are getting back in the business soon but It is still early to tell the level the bulls are working

I believe ETH will grow in the coming months because of ETH 2.0, so I don't think it will be coming down after this. And since bitcoin is up, and so the alts. As we observed, a lot of these alts follow the trend of bitcoin. So if btc keep on increasing, these famous alts will follow. But when it comes to eth, they have their own reason why it is increasing and it is because of the upcoming second version.

No one knows but talking about 1000 on ETH price is really hard to tell unless if the market movement or hype was just the same on that end 2017 hype.

It reached $300 per each but there is a huge wick appear wherein it indicates that it already reach its current resistance. I saw a lot people who keep saying the the ETH will reach $1000 in just a matter of time and I always telling them that do not expect that it will happen because of the market structure where there are a lot of resistances that the ETH may go through first in order to reach that level. Managed your expectations because in the reality it seems impossible in this current times.

I think the new Defi projects are the reason for the recent dizzying price increase, and the price of ETH will surely increase even more as people tend to invest in the market a lot. Not only ETH, but almost all coins in the top 100 CMC have improved over the past few days and this is a sign that the atlcoin season is coming back. I think Covid-19 has nothing to do with the crypto market because this market has generally gained well since the epidemic. Ethereum now has a chance to increase higher, and we see now the price can be able to break $300, and it still tries to rise higher. I think many people already sell their ethereum at $300 while the other people still waiting for their target price is fills. If the price can be like this, I am sure that it will no need too long to see the price will touch $350. But if bitcoin price is back to the lower price, that can be a downtrend too for ethereum, so we need to get out from the market for a while.

You cant tell it when you do only see this kind of moment. Price increase on short percentage doesnt mean that we would already be heading on a new bull run.Its too early to say now but

And with eth, coupled with the upcoming Eth 2.0, they are really bound to increase in the market. I’m not updated with ETH for months now and I thought they succeed to launch the first part of the update, well its nice to see ETH on a mark of $300 and I hope the trend will not fade easily. I’m analyzing its trend now and it looks like it hard to enter or to buy from this point because of the correction though the trend is still strong so we might still he a higher peak for its current trend.

Ethereum is pumping due to the hype created about the launch of its new testnet. Although, I believe that the pump will be short lived once it is launched. I don’t see Ethereum rising above $400 anytime soon. 1000$ is a possible target but before achieving that, Ethereum will go through a couple of corrections. I am waiting for the prices to dumb after the launch so I can reinvest and increase my portfolio.

The pump is not over yet so we will see another action in the coming days. I have sold some of my ETH yesterday at $333 and just left  the other part for security reason.
 i don't want to chase the price because i consider 3-5% as already a profit .

If the pump will continue, it's not impossible for ETH to breached $1000 again, ETH has done that before, in fact I expect when there is a bull run, there will be a new ATH, ETH has so much hype now, due to DeFi projects and the ETH 2.0.

that would be happend if they could finish ethereum 2.0 by this year because there is very much bunch transaction getting stuck due gas fee wont reduce because of DEX trade and many new DeFi contract are deployed, that's my personal opinion about ethereum if they could hit 1000$ by this year. they need to bring ethereum 2.0 asap to settle the stuck transaction with low fee problem.

It's early January of 2018 when Ethereum has peaked, not 2017. 2017 was the ending good year for bitcoin and then was followed by the altcoin rally in January 2018.
It's acceptable that they've been lost since it's 2 years ago and they have a choice to continue or not. But, I'm sure that they are still hopeful because they see the rally for Ethereum.

2017 is something the earlier you had forgot better it was it has now been 3 years and those who had bought either some of them would have even sold out their position. But yes, now the way the prices are getting little consolidated at 11k levels and around looks good that it can be on this price range for some time. Though it is not finding too much support above 11100$ it seems as it tests and falls a bit. Let us see if we can reach 15k by year end or so. During in Reddit a recent statement by Vitalik Buterin about future plans, he hinted at the possibility of a merger between Ethereum and Ethereum Classic, as if Ethereum 2.0 could really use Ethereum Classic. I’m even afraid to imagine what would happen to Ethereum and its price if a merger happened. But if after the Ethereum 2.0 update there are real actions in this direction, today's Ethereum price will seem like a trifle before what can be expected in the future.

anyone can say an unreasonable estimate at a time that is not right. but when the moment is right I think the prediction made actually might happen. but only predictions that are realistic with market prices will have a high probability of exposure. determine the right time that will be difficult for an accurate estimate.

Whoever bought ETH a month must be sitting at a good profit right now. I believe if ETH keeps breaking the resistance like it's breaking right now then we can easily expect ETH to surpass $600 before the announcement date for the main 2.0 network.

Ethereum now crossed $300, and even the price now can break $350. But still, a far away to cross $1k because we need more than $600-$700 to break that price. We don't know if $1k can be reached this year or not because the market is still too volatile, and there is no sign to know if the market will still increase. If you certainly bought ETH at $120 this year and want to recover from your previous in the year 2018, waiting for ETH to reach $1000 is a worse decision when the market seems to be experiencing some market that could either lead to downtrend or uptrend in price. The decision is to sell some portion at least 50% of the holding now for stable coin and you still use it to reinvest later if the market later decides to downtrend rather keeping all your eggs in a single basket.

ETH's performance is really good, especially considering the fact that I purchased Ethereum for $ 120. I believe this trend will continue until the Ethereum 2.0 update and possibly beyond.
