Title: closed Post by: sandy-is-fine on July 30, 2020, 03:56:07 AM Seems to be a few unsubstantiated scam complaints about these guys but from their posting habits (spamming multiple accounts and dozens and dozens of fake 1 post newbie vouches) it seems likely.
These 2 are the longest and 99.00% of the time logged in together. Reading the threads and beautiful vouch post prose are quite entertaining: arikochipin https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5220899.0 (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5220899.0) (he's the most entertaining) Danny Lance https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5230825.0 There are a couple cross-posted vouches. These guys must spend hours creating newbie accounts. Google Ads https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5234139.0 (obvious alt of arikochipin since he replied in this topic from wrong account and email is the same) https://archive.vn/OC5C8 Litvak500 https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5250792.0 (virtually identical text in OP as Google Ads aka arikochipin) https://archive.vn/TUMOs There's a bunch of others all similar topics just like those except they often delete their last couple posts so their threads fall way back then they suddenly add a new post and back they are. These couple are still on top. Actually there are 5 (or more) of them: Here is "the spam & scam crew" (probably a few more I missed :D ): https://i.postimg.cc/br8R3jnx/Group1.jpg (https://postimg.cc/S2T8x3DR) Title: Re: closed Post by: SFR10 on July 30, 2020, 07:02:05 PM This is NOT a scam accusation and there are no rules broken (as far as I know) because there are no rules against multiple accounts but I just find it quite weird. Since technically all of these accounts belong to a single user [most likely], then the following rules have been broken:13. Bumps, "updates" are limited to once per 24 hours per thread. Bumping multiple threads at the same time is allowed if it's not annoying. [2][e] 30. Similar marketplace items must be listed together.[2][e] 32. Posting multiple posts in a row (excluding bumps and reserved posts by the thread starter) is not allowed. I believe this is one of those endless cases and it might be better to just report them and ask from one of the admins to check for their IP's [limited]... - Not sure if they'll do it though. Litvak500 https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5250792.0 (virtually identical text in OP as Google Ads aka arikochipin) https://archive.vn/TUMOs The skype ID gave it away as well [two more confirmed alts, Yuray Litvak and Ariko Chipin VCC]:- Kedro DO (http://archive.is/oG19q#selection-427.0-427.8) is another possible alt (credit goes to scbss (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5237712.msg54154448#msg54154448)). You're right but other than ATM being just spammers it's not worth the effort. :D Frankly with all their threads I don't believe they sold a single item and there aren't any scam complaints against them (yet). All the fake "vouches" are way too entertaining. It would just take too much effort trying to explain them all in a moderator report! As long as you didn't disobey any campaign rules (commonly enrolling alt accounts) or spamming, and/or enrolling multiple account in a single campaign, then you must be good to go. But still, keep in mind that you are known as an alt, hence you're actions must be limited from now on. Thank You, but for full transparency in the case only of SrCHU, I believe he was correct (for the moment) and I did remove it. While his thread did/does look virtually identical to the other 5 or so listed here after looking back through all his "vouches" and their previous posts vs. the other 5 guys I believe his are legit. The other follow a totally different pattern. |
