 And Crypto based gambling sites are gambling sites that are created dedicated to a certain Cryptocurrency like Tron based gambling sites or Eon based gambling sites.
What do you think will have an upper hand or who can attract the most gamblers in the future

The Crypto based gambling sites is still early and not that mature, that's why it's still not popular nowadays.
But if there will be more development under the crypto based and start to rise, for sure it will be the new trend soon.
The tradional cryptocurrency gambling will remain even crypto based gambling will be the new trend in the future.
Why? Because there are lot of people that only that is not so techy or no knowledge about cryptocurrency.

i do agree. right now, those traditional crypto gambling sites are very much ahead in number as compared with these dedicated crypto-based. just look around this forum, how many have you seen a tron-based gambling site?
and usually, those nontraditional ones cant attract huge number of players. that is because as you said they are not familiar dealing with this currency. lets admit it, most of us still prefer to play in a btc based gambling site. because if you talk about tron or neo, its like a very complex process for others to understand how to transfer and perform txs so they just stick to the usual coin they used for gambling which is btc

As far as my observations are concerned the ones you call crypto-based gambling sites are dying one after another. How many times have we seen crypto-projects solely dedicated to gambling that eventually perished? A lot of times.

What remained strong, and even getting stronger over the years, are those crypto gambling sites which are accepting the top cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, DogeCoin, Litecoin, XRP, and so on.

To be honest, Crypto-based gambling platforms often had less popularity and attention as it would depend on what crypto they'd be using. In which, in most cases, aren't that necessary at all, as supporting multiple cryptos and giving the users a choice on what currency they want is still the best feature a gambling could have. Not unless they made a crypto-based gambling yet offers a minimum transaction fees and low bet charges, then they might have a chance to gain a better market. But still, that wouldn't change the fact that the more crypto you support, the bigger chance you can gain clients.

Comparing both gambling sites on which one can attract more gamblers. First, traditional gambling sites have different crypto accepted as one of the payment and each gamblers have their own choice of crypto that they want to use when gambling unlike crypto base where you can choose other crypti except the crypto they use.

Non custodial smart contract based gambling sites are the future IMO.

Even the poll will judge the outcome and definitely most do really like the traditional crypto online gambling sites, I do. The advantage of the traditional gambling sites is that they can accept TRX or EOS too, just like that.

I think crypto based gambling site was just hyped around last 2018 or the last year but right now, most of it are clearly not the one being flocked. Though there's still future on it I guess but I think these traditional gambling sites will not yet be far from over.

at first sight i thought bought are the same  . both are cryptos . you mean casinos that have thier own blockchain because that is what trx and eos known at . when i heard traditional it also comes to my mind is offline/physical casinos . thats your own definition anyway so its okay but if your asking if who will be the winner between them i think those who are common crypto site because they are first and people are already confident using them while the other type of casino is new .

EOS based gambling sites were also popular now, for the transparency and being able to verify  provably fairness of the games as well a better UI,they might not yet accept a btc for deposits but still a good to try especially if they offers more features like hotel booking, bidding and what can be seen in other casinos. Dice.one is a EOS based casino that can be tried also. Soon many casinos from being traditional may use other platforms as blockchain is taking more gamblers now.

Obviously, traditional crypto gambling sites have a lot of edge against crypto-based gambling sites.

The options provided by crypto-based gambling sites are too few or perhaps even a single altcoin only: their own ecosystem's token or coin. That ends up like an exclusive gambling site where only the small community of fans will play.

If you compare that with traditional crypto gambling sites, everybody who is into Bitcoin or Ethereum is very much welcome. And we all know that the largest cryptocurrency communities in the world are into both coins.

I will select for sure the traditional one just because of the different availability of currencies. Focusing on one meaning, you are not open to other supporters of that coin. It's highly unlikely that they will stay long on that specific gambling site because of the currency itself, unless they have large stacks of that coin, like Tron for your example, and still play there. Definitely the traditional one has the upper hand with the attraction for sure. That's just my opinion.

Like what most of the other respondents, I got with the traditional as well. Not only because it offers a wider variety of coins for betting but mainly because of convenience :). Imagine the hassle of converting first your btc into eos (just an example) if ever you will play on a crypto based. Not yet mentioning the fact that some people are not comfortable to use other alts. Yeah eos and tron are reputable in all fairneess, but there are people who are still not into it.

Crypto based gambling sites popular on their community, not to the overall crypto gamblers. For example, a platform created a crypto-based gambling site on Tron. So those are in the Tron community they would love to play there easily since they would be a Tron holder as well. But for bitcoin lover who isn't familiar with Tron, they wouldn't love to play there. On traditional crypto gambling, gamblers can choose their favorite coins if there is exist. I believe the crypto-based gambling site wouldn't more popular than traditional crypto gambling sites.

For a certain point of view, generally speaking, crypto gambling sites offer some advantages (instant deposit/withdraw - anonymous betting and more over...)
They are used by some community member for a crypto, even to promote better a specific project...
Unfortunately these advantage are a strong limit for "average joe" or the classic player since he is not able to use cryptocurrency and doesn't care about advantage.

In some countries (like mine = Italy) we should use only monopole game registered with an exclusive license in Italy!
Despite there are not fines or sanctions for the players, they are trying always to avoid people to use betting sites that doesn't have an italian betting license. Actually for what I know there isn't any "licensed" gambling site that allow people to bet with crypto.
This clearly mean that we are forced to use traditional gambling :(

I will choose traditional crypto gambling since it accepts different cryptocurrency which makes it easier for gamblers. As per what others have also said, having various crypto is already an advantage because gamblers can choose what they want and what is available.

And the traditional crypto gambling is still popular among crypto gamblers so no doubt that most of us will choose the traditional one. It's easy to attract possible customers or gamblers when they have a variety of crypto to choose from compared to only a specific one.

We can't disregard the other advantages of using tron or eos, but most users here are oriented with btc or other popular alts and most of them have their btc holdings. And so if they want to play in tron or eos-based gambling site, they have to convert their btc to tron/eos, which is really not practical for them. So instead of converting their coin to tron/eos, they just play with casino sites which are accepting what they have, and that usually is btc.

There is nothing to have a discussion which form of gambling site is gonna be in upper hand. Users prefer based on the convenience and comfort using the respective gambling sites. Here the traditional means cryptocurrency accepted gambling sites and the crypto based means the integration of site functioning over the EOS, TRX, ERC20 or any of the platforms.

But if we would also consider Physical Casinos in the topic (on focusing on one currency in gambling), or an online gambling platform that uses fiat instead of crypto, then I guess there's no difference compared to traditional crypto gambling platforms, as they would have same idea of games and the same satisfaction, but only differs a little in the currency they use and they support. And if it was so, supporting a single fiat doesn't really matter nor change the game or the gambling at all, as long as they made it fair and fun.

Well, actually it does but only if we stop talking in general. Some regular online casinos testing the waters with cryptocurrencies may indeed increase their user base due to their overall expertise. However, it is not set in stone in the least. On the other hand, people who are well familiar with cryptocurrency casinos will be cautious with the "new" kids on the block just like they are cautious with really new cryptocurrency casinos springing up here and there

I think based on the actual statistics the upper hand is clearly in the traditional websites which offer different cryptos to play in their site.The ones with only a specific coin will have a hard time getting a big number of users as the majority of users use the well known coins and not a certain specific coin.I think this will not change even in the future.

Crypto based gambling sites are great, who tried them knows that. What they did is great, allowing people to gamble and earn their tokens, you can stake those tokens and have passive income, you can buy them and stake them if you don't wish to gamble to earn them. I prefer Tron over EOS, and I am active on two tron sites. From traditional casinos I only know trustdice that's doing the same thing, you can gamble and earn their TXT token, and you can stake txt, buy/sell it, gamble with it. This is just an additional feature of crypto based gambling sites, you can gamble with different coins too, so there's not a big difference between traditional and crypto based gambling sites in my opinion. Actually this is the first time I see someone making a two separate groups for crypto gambling sites, for me all that is crypto gambling, just some casinos offer less and some offer more features!

Yes I cast my vote too and statistics shows that the traditional crypto online gambling site are way too far better than crypto based gambling sites. Having choices is better than having a single crypto for betting because there is a need for conversion for that and I myself do not like to do it all the time I like to bet in that certain gambling sites. Beside it is like we do own our money and not being trusted by the crypto based gambling sites due to the need of conversion of our crypto held to their crypto based gambling site.

i dont think they have nothing else to provide because thats an easy loose for them if ever they plan to create a site under those platform but there must be an advantage if not in the coin choice .

coin choice isnt all about on why people will play and stay on a casino  . they can also add another coin ( if possible )  if it isnt now , experts can find a way to patch the existing platform so that it can support more coins in the future and theyl totally beat those classic crypto casinos .

I will go with Traditional Crypto online gambling sites.

The thing is that there are a lot of cryptocurrencies we can use, it is not just Bitcoin, Ethereum, Eos, Doge or Tron, there are a lot and people would also prefer if they have choices. There are times that I would rather hold some of my cryptocurrencies and use others and it would be a bother if that is not available in an crypto online gambling site.

If a gambling site have any other crypto than bitcoin as dedicated crypto to play there will not have much attention towards maybe in future we could see a gambling site if there is a dedicated crypto currency created for gambling itself which may attract more users by giving many features compared to existing cryptos.

But didn't see any crypto based gambling site gain success and if there is they will not last long, So I best for those crypto based gambling site to adopt the traditional if they want to earn success since gamblers have different preferences and they cannot widen up their market if they are just focusing on their coin only or for few listed around.

The most vote is the traditional online crypto gambling which users are prefer using this btc, and ethereum. Well, possible for that if there are dedicated crypto in the site it could attract users also. During these days some use crypto base in gambling site and some the traditional base. However, possibly in crypto base it will be improved and more users in the future.

I think it would be better to classify them as off chain and on chain gambling sites.
On chain gambling was quite popular on early days of bitcoin but increase in transaction fees and slowing down of network sprouted on chain gambling.
The only benefit of off chain gambling are they can achieve that without a fee and quickly but with newer gambling oriented coins with nearly zero and instant fees, on chain gambling are catching up. If there's a similar alternative of both sites, I'd always prefer on chain gambling sites.

But I don't think that on-chain gambling will ever be able to catch up with traditional crypto casinos (like Stake, Wolf.bet, etc) in terms of betting speed. With autobet, you can easily make around 5 rolls a second (if we are talking about dice). So how can on-chain gambling come close to that? On the other hand, with blockchain-based gambling you can be dead sure that the odds have not been tampered with and the outcome is truly random (and yes, I know about provably fair gambling, but still)

Indeed. Although traditional and crypto based gambling sites are really comparable, both of these are more likely to remain even if the other one would gain more attention.
As each player has different preferences, people would be divided in choosing to play with traditional way or with the use of modern technologies.

As for now traditional crypto gambling casinos are going to win and will be leading. I mean people are more familiar to casinos like these. Why would someone choose a new "crypto based gambling sites" when there are already old, well established and trusted casino out there? I doubt anyone would want to gamble in those new gambling platform.
And how many of those casino based project managed to survive? I guess few to none only. Same goes for coins/tokens created for gambling purposes. All of them eventually dies.

I played on both Eos and Tron based gambling sites some of them do have an option to deposit other Cryptocurrency but they are more on promoting the Cryptocurrency where they are based, their biggest advantage is the easiness of use on Tron you only need to open the Tronlink, Tronlink browser-based wallet and deposit will be instant and the fee is very cheap not 0.001 Tron.

I guess what you mean is, like WINK on TRON Network is a Gambling dapps that runs on blockchain. They have their own advantages. On traditional gambling sites, you have more options to withdraw or deposits, some of them allow you to exchange one coin to another which is convenient. On Gambling dapps you can feel more secure because you have the full control of your funds, every time you bet it is initiated from your own wallet and your profits will go to your wallet directly which you have the private keys or similar, if compared to exchanges, it is like a DEX.  I guess they will both co-exist.

In my opinion, the biggest problem to achieve market penetration is that crypto-gambling sites are simply prohibited in many countries. Especially in "rich" countries like Central Europe, for example, playing on non-licensed gambling platforms is punished, so a lot of people will be afraid to play on these sites.

Of course, the situation is different in countries with less strict laws, but to be able to speak of a "relevant" market share, these countries are especially relevant.

^ Probably you are right because wide use as of now is bitcoin and other top altcoins. I don't familiar with the crypto online casino that has their own network such as TRON and EOS that most commonly have been used in online gambling cryptos. I bet the traditional crypto online, why?
The Tron network community or even the EOS network community has only have small number of holders. Not just like bitcoin, you can be used this everywhere because commonly people accept bitcoin as payment. Neverthless, lets wait for them to have improvements and choose who is the best.
