Post by: commandera on August 01, 2020, 02:07:00 PM
 Hello I have mining Rig x1 5700 + x3 570 + x3 580 + x1 1060
installed least driver and using msi afterburner to be able to oc 1060 and fan control
 i have questions
1- why when i OC GPU by msi afterburner is resetting because adrenalin software ?
2- How i install AMD least drivers without adrenalin software and enabling compute mode ?
3- if you tell me best driver to mine and support 5700 ( Blockchain driver not support 5700 )
4- when i OC by msi afterburner memory to 2000 and go to next GPU then back i see is OC'd to max 2250 i'm sure adrenalin software is issue

note : i have selected adrenalin software tuning to manual already

1 Install the AMD drivers without the Adrenelin, this is a must if you want work with AMD cards+ MSI Afterburner.
2 When the instalation begin, just click on the custom instalation option or just install the drivers via windows system
3 Not sure what drivers are the best for the 5700 serie, just download the latest and 2 behind and do some tests.
4 Dont concentrate on OC, concentrate on UNDERVOLT, this is the key, you can have the same speed with less power and heat (that just destroy you card with the time). This is Mr. Adrenalin figting with Mr. afterburner, don't install it.

Not sure if this still work:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2815803.0

But i think that option is not needed anymore, with the latest drivers make no diference, not 100% sure, just test it and see if there is any diference enable or disable.

By the way, if you are mixing card, remember use DDU first, then Nvidia driver and then AMD.

A LARGE minimum virtual memory, more cards=more BIG.
