EDIT: I understand, you are shitting me. It is clear to me that nobody can predict if and what will happen. But there were other big events like conventions around bitcoin in the past. If Bitcoin Conference to Bitcoin is like Olympic Games to a country's stock market, most likely it will rise slowly for 6 months AFTER the event. Post by: slush on November 23, 2011, 02:25:01 PM Looks like Czech TV will make short spot from Prague conference, depends on quality of footage it may be on the air in few weeks in economic news. There was pretty big feedback after first Bitcoin spot in Czech TV back in June and there's no reason to think it won't happen now again.

Slight anticipatory rise in price just before.. and a slight dip afterwards from disappointment that mainstream media didn't give exuberant coverage. Ok.. this time we have a couple of bigger names in attendance, Max Keiser and Rick Falkvinge - so maybe there will be a little media attention, but I'm still not expecting a sharp boost to the price from this conference. There's just so much yet to be done and this is a great opportunity to meet all the people involved, form alliances and get things going in general.
Price will follow sooner or later - no hurry :) |
