This is not good. There are still some who are really sending funds on that address. On the other hand, do you think those guys are really victim? I have a thought that possibly these bitcoins sent were part or accomplice of the scammer? Just a wild hunch but there are people who are doing this trick to make the giveaway looks more authentic.

But its always good to report all kind of scam here. 0.1 to 0.2 btc is like 100% profit without having sweat is purely scam.

It is possible that someone may have sent their assets with the intention of doubling them.

Probably can't say for sure.

Yes, It is necessary that people should be warned about every scam so that they can protect themselves from such threats.

There's been a lot of warning from all medias there's also a possibility that this things is the case, they are doing it in ICO team depositing or investing in their own wallet to make it appear that people are really investing and really interested in the project, this is one of the trick of scammers.

You can't say exactly until anyone open accusation against them. Usually scammers show some fake transaction link on frontend to make everyone believe that people are getting profits by following their doubler packages. In that case most of the time they make some deposits by their own. I have seen so many ponzi projects who used 3/4 years old domain and its another part of their money stealing game. Most interesting thing is that this kinda scammers know that experienced crypto investors will not gonna show any interest on their platform and their actual target is new crypto users.

Or the funds that are sending in this btc address comes from the scammers themselves so that it will look legit if someone are going to check it through blockchain. And if you are going to look at it, it received:

Quote
Total Received
1.90125617 BTC

So I doubt that someone has fallen for this. But I don't discount that fact that there are a lot of newbies who are too greedy and might think it is safe to send to double their money without doing any hard work and it will be too late before they realised what had happened to them.

Scam sites posts testimonial to make it appear the site is legit, if a newbie do not know these fake testimonials he is in trouble and he will not do a research about the project he's money is gone imagine the big amount that will be sent to you, even disregarding that he is sending to an unknown people.

Scammers often transfer funds to their wallets to make themselves look trustworthy. And seeing this transection of theirs, newbies send funds to that address! And they never get that fund back. The main reason they fall into this trap is greed, they send funds to this fake giveaway in the hope of quick profit.

Scammers are giving fake transections on the website as if everyone thinks they are returning profits.
