In each and everything associated with the cryptocurrency there is risk and scam attempt. Myself once encountered entering a phising site that resembles the same as coinbase. The last time I deposited into freedoge.co was about 1 month ago. It was done with no problem. I just went to my profile and clicked on "deposit" button. The deposit address was shown. I guess it's still possible to deposit. I made a withdrawal as well. The withdrawal didn't work fine. It took three days to receive the coins.
