Hello nowadays we have a new and for me most potential project called elrond and I been joined on their community years ago. Last year its underrated project and anyone has no idea about this, But this year its a very massive adoption of this currency also they will divided their supply in to the 20M from 20B after mainnet.

Elrond Gold is the most secured and very fast in terms of transaction. Lots of potential and fundamentals, This is not financial advice but what do you think of their sPoS or Secured proof of stake? Unlimited staking will become after 30 to 60days after the mainnet. Would you like to add info about this project to the other can be found an information here. Lets talk about the future!

Elrond has a lot of partnership and I can see that reducing their supply would likely to increase their liquidity. But I am confuse why the elrond should incorporate their name with gold. Like literally egold?

Is this means they dont need to stake via masternode in order to be validator or staker? Like they would allowed low quantity holder to even stake their coins?

I don't have much information of this matter but all I knew is they have delegation that your funds will includes to validator, You can earn 29% for delegation and the validator has 36%. if you choose to delegate your funds you will receive reward for 29% and 7% for validator.

I see thanks. I did not find time to review the elrond new tokenomics and additional offer services. But I do know that their partnership with a lot of projects makes them a good project. I remember on them the failed PundiX which now died and no news till now.

But Ive seen their active participation on different field like defi so definitely this project has a future.

What sets elrond apart against other altcoins? What are there are key features? An active team and partnerships doesn't mean everything...

Staking could bring up to 29% ?? Sounds very fishy to me.

I am a big fan of Elrond and also a genesis staker, but that announcement about the 1:1000 token swap surprised me big time. I read the rationale behind it but I still think that when the "stupid" money enters the market in the next alt bull craze, normies would probably be more eager to invest into a token that is worth 2 cents than in a token that is worth 20$.

Indeed, even I underestimated this project, but now I see development and am looking for suitable entry points in the coin. now I consider it expensive and am waiting for when it will be possible to buy cheaper

29% is for only on the first year of staking not for a long time. And also I suggest to you that you need to deep dive on this project because you need to know more about them. I guess you will be happy to what you will see under this project. 

Elrond has been supported and backed by good players including binance so naturally its quality and growth is what has attracted people to it also do not forget that binance has a special program to support high quality projects with funding recent example is injective protocol so with elrond the community is confident of good things to come because it has strong roots.

Their trade volume went from 85 mil to 25 mil in 24 hours . We need to be careful when a new altcoin appears on the market . We all know that more than 80% of the projects fail . I am not saying that elrond can have the same way but we need to give more time so we can see if the team is serious

I think maybe a lot of Elrond holders swap to eGLD so that the trade volume drops dramatically considering the swap ratio is 1:1000, for new altcoins this has become a natural thing because for a long time ago, if there was something new coins people were quick to turn to coins that they hold.

After all these Mainnet and Staking hype die down the price will correct, that is when anyone that want a piece of RED should buy there is no need to chase the price, this one thing I learnt in the space, it would always come down to your buying price. Just look at Tfuel and Theta tokens what happen to their prices after the recent pump

In addition we need to see all angles of the project, and if they have a long term plan, usage of coins, solid partnership. Elrond is a different thing that you've expected. This is not only for pump and dump later. Try to learn how the fundamentals can go to a long term mindset. Not only for short term ideas.

Exactly my point. Even me I think thrice before investing in any project which is trading at more than $10. I would be really happy with the Elrond team if they didn't come with the idea of swapping 1000 ERD for 1 eGLD lol. This action might reduce their community size.

Wandering about the ecosystems is something tired in bounty hunters in the sense that many projects have seemed to be in a flow making followers feel that's the end point of cryptocurrency. The best option to tackle this is prior coin research. Have encountered so many project claiming to be gold but failed because if some certain circumstances. Better perform sine research before concluding on some altcoin nowadays.

Does Elrond become eGold? or they will create a new token called eGLD and their Elrond will remain itself?
I am amazed on this Elrond project, even they just started to be listed in some exchange last year, they are showing how active they are.
Elrond Return of Investment(ROI) already more than 2,000% from its ICO price, which is extremely huge returns from those early people who accumulate Elrond.

This will be a 1:1000 swap, the ERD token will disappear, and there will be a new eGLD token, the total suplay will also be reduced by 1000 times, and the price of the new token's should be 1000 times higher, respectively.

Im an early buyer of this token too bad I sell at only few percentage. I did not wait for it to its current price, but I am well profited on this project. For me the swap could pose a negative impact, first of all many will get confuses on the tokenmetrics. Lower supply is good but the swap ratio is too high. If the price of egold does not compliment with the price of current erd then there is a chance that it could go down again.

is there a link i can read about swap on this subject?  I tried to search about this news but have not found what you say

they has been start with Elrond, i dont think they would change their name to Egold because the name of Egold have bunch history of scam project on last year, you can browser around the google and found out about eGold project that posted on this threads, you will find it.

for me Elrond gold is good name enough for their product.
