I find it weird we reference 1 million all the time as if it's remained the same thing.

In the past, wealthy people would only have worth into the millions - now their wealth can be into the billions and the cost of inflation means that having a million now is like having 500000 ~30-40 years ago and the 80s wasn't that long ago imo (even if I wasn't there). The millionaire idea looks to be becoming a trap rather than anything productive.

I am looking at shops in my city and all day they sit and wait for clients no matter if fast food,cheap clothing,barber shops,cheap food etc ... it's the same ... the only stores that have high volume of customers are supermarkets and malls ... makes no sense as same prices ...why would a customer go for a supermarket if price is the same at corner shop...

that's true its easy in theory but in real life its seams impossible. if we have unicq products that no one envented yet it might possible but its also depend on how many products we can sell.

It is not that easy to find a buyer that is interested in what you are selling depending on the price that you've set, it is not that easy to grind and work hard and it really takes time for you to do that.

In order to make your first million, work hard with full effort and patience. Don't rush things because time will come that you will become a successful investor. That's the reason why people are getting disappointed with themselves because of expectations. Once they are rooting and urging to earn their designed profit, they will probably fail.

Its not easy to apply that formula. If it is, we would have been that rich. But I think someone had done that before by selling just tomatoes every day.  Its not easy because your life style will be part of the formula. You won't be able to achieve having millions if everyday you would order huge steak every meal and have to pay astonishing water and energy bill every month.

It seems easy by just looking at it, but the process itself is what makes it hard to earn $1 million. People won't buy that much easily, you need to hire a model to promote that mask and also need to pay for media for promoting it and it costs a lot as well that is why we need capital to make more money and get richer.And how can someone sell 1 million products in their life time? :(

What about taxes? You definitely need 15-25% just for taxes. Then what about the cost to make your product? Nothing is for free, or what about your distribution? Any cost for ads and marketing?

Had it been easy the world would have all the millionaires today and nobody would have been poor, but afraid things do not work as OP said it. Unless the one million products you’re going to be selling are some waste products that you pick from waste, lol. It’s not as easy as you make it seem like man, to be a millionaire requires a lot of hard work. And moreover even if you were given a million products to sell for that amount, have you forgotten you will need to eat and also make other expenses?

Moreover, you are not going to finish selling all that products in a day, it might even take months before you sell them all. So true, unless you are that someone that found something new or fresh that could be easily sold. I am saying this in the point where someone is just starting, but if we are in that position where that people have the capital to start with and the knowledge to back it up, I don't think that would be a problem. its hard to sell products at a high price but its easy to sell products at cheap but you will need to produce more products .  cheap products is equals to cheap capital or cheap production cost , you will only need patience and energy .

Sounds funny but it works if you have the ability to create a lot of ice water in a short period of time and if you're using a refrigerator that didn't cost you a lot of power consumption. There's nothing wrong with this kind of mindset but if you are really targetting for a huge profit, you should think about the other factors that might affect your business. There's nothing wrong with the idea, but on how to implement it, it will cost you a lot.

It's a mistake to say that you need high capital to sell 1 million cheap products...

Several times I have come across information about such people who used a similar strategy in order to become a millionaire. These people lived in the CIS countries and started selling brooms and used car tires. At the same time, they bought the missing goods at low prices, and sold them at a higher price. But really the original goal was to sell at least one million pieces of goods, for at least one unit of national currency. anyway this strategy is very working.

it's just a metaphor not as easy as you want to sell something for 1 $ and expect to sell 1 million units, promotions and also the types of products offered must be useful and can be used every day, such as food.

It is very hard of course to get million but of course if you want to get it then work hard, give time and effort, decispline and maybe we need to love the work and the passion that we have, work for it. In this situation, we can get our millions. Each of us have our own passion in life, if we will develop our passion and work hard for it, we can get what we want.

It would be more sensible to say them like this:

Sell 1 million items at a net profit of $1 each.
Sell 100 thousand items at a net profit of $10 each and so on, than what OP stated.  Because even if you sell a billion item at $1 if the item costs you more than $1 each to create, then you will be at a deficit's end.


It is hard at the beginning but once you are used to it, it will be as easy as eating peanuts :).  There are several ways to achieve this kind of result and one of the better methods are through affiliate system, network marketing (not the ponzi scheme pyramiding) and referral system.

i think this doesnt involved a hard work  . when you have a product worth millions , you can sell it and make million easily  but if you dont end up on a products that doesnt worth much , you need to work hard to earn extra money if your goal is to become a millionaire  or atleast to become a little wealthier  .
more work does not also always lead to more money  . on most countries they can work for a long hours over and still earn small but to other richer countries they can work less hours and be able to earn huge salary  .  also depend on the skill ,  high skill more salary  .

Unless you have the reputation to prove these products or other things to back you up, people would easily buy from you but that also means that you already built up riches from the time which built your reputation. Establishing your brand name is the hardest part here. When you are becoming a known personality then you can easily make money than you could imagine about it. I agree selling more products for lesser prices is the first thing we need to do and over the time we can sell few product for higher prices for achieving our targeted money.

Nothing is easy in this world, all require struggle and sacrifice, especially in the era of free markets with high levels of competition and the waning application of values in the economy. Hedonism has become a lifestyle for the millennial generation due to the easier access to information and technology.

In my personal view, the richer we are, the more we should benefit others. The values taught by my parents since childhood are, that the material is not a goal, but only as a tool, the bigger the material we get, the greater our responsibility towards people and around us. All are based on the take and give law. Regarding nature, we cannot just take and exploit nature without giving it to nature by doing conservation.

There is no secret formula how to become millionare. Nothing in this world doesn't come easy and over night, for everything you need to.work very hard and have a bit of luck too. So, don't trust to those who will tell you they have some formulas and receipes, they usualy just try to get money out of your pocket.

It is quite funny to thing that if you sell 1 million products for 1 dollars you would be a millionaire, YOU GOT EVEN THAT WRONG. Jesus Christ, people are destined to be poor and work for the rich people. If you sell a product a million times do you really think that you are suddenly a million dollars richer? Hell there is a chance you would end up in debt. You want to know why?

Well, in order to make that product you buy the resources, you work for those resources, you hire people you pay rent for office or shop, you pay taxes and in the end you make probably at best 30 cents from it as profit, so you would need to sell over 3 million of those products to make a million dollar profit. You want to know how you could be in debt? You can't make a million of it, and in order to make it you grow your business, you take out a loan from a bank and you increase your capacity to handle a million products, so even after selling you still owe the bank money.

What kind of product is worth $1? For sure there's a capital to make it.

There are many competition in the market so whatever product you choose to sell it wont be easy.

Its just shows that it is not easy to become rich. The key to achieve it is by striving and working hard. There's no shortcut unless if you hit a jackpot in a lottery otherwise you need to be skillful, smart and wise.

Ok, let's assume you are selling one of those $100 products. Did you subtract the manufacturing cost and the delivery cost? How are you advertising that product? (Online or pamphlets or Door to Door? ....because all of that has cost too)  ::)

Also, remember... if this is your only source of income, then you have to spend most of that on daily expenses and that eat into your profits.

Your strategy is seriously flawed.. A more realistic scenario would be to sell 10 000 products at $1000 and after expenses you might be able to save $100 towards your goal of being a Millionaire.  ::)

Also, the money in the Bank will earn interest, so you might achieve that goal quicker if you invest it with Compound interest.  ;)

Most families can save $100 a week if they stop buying junk food at McDonalds and KFC and eat Healthy alternatives and then build up a nice nest egg for the future... but that takes discipline and unfortunately not a lot of people have that.  ::)

And where you're going to find those stickers, bracelets, key rings... you need to buy them or you can produce them (and do you have a machine for that or you will do it manually)?! It's not so easy as the OP said, you need to find products and you need to find a way to sell them. And it's never just buying and selling, you need a transport, storage, place to sell them… to many factors to consider, if it's easy to do it everyone would do it!

I think it would not be that easy because even I have a hundreds of products that has a million dollar price, I can't be so sure that I sell all of them and earn millions of dollar within a day. Earning money is not that easy, that is why it is very hard to be a millionaire because it takes time for you earn good profit in your business.

While it sounds easy to sell 1million piece of a particular thing and make a million dollar but actually there are 2 problems which are being overlooked here:

1- Cost is not the profit, that means if you are going to sell your items for $1 that means it must have also costed some money to prepare the item and hence your cost of selling the product is not the entire profit for you. A part of the cost will go towards next development and a part might go towards stability.

2- A million sales, is not as easy as it might sound because no matter how good you are at marketing and how active you remain but selling that large of a quantity requires some sort of affiliate marketing, like most companies find affiliates to sell their product which is effective but reduces the profits you are expecting.

You can buy them directly from the seller for $1 or whatever price you find. Add your cut, re-sell. "Good old buy low sell high." Since the price of the products are already dirt cheap, nobody will give a damn if you buy them for $1 and re-sell for $2.

I know it is not an easy thing to pull at the beginning especially, and you probably won't become a millionaire in a reasonable time frame unless you are also a google/seo expert but it is a start.

Coming back the topic, I think that selling a product or service that costs higher is better and actually you also need to understand the market you are working in because there are various types of market.

You think of Chinese products and they work on quantity while if you analyse iPhone they work for quality and make profits that ways. So it depends on what market you are in and hence pick the correct strategy because not always selling cheap is the best idea as sometimes you can make your product as prime and target rich audience.

It's like ideal trade, you buy for 1 and sell for double, are we talking about crypto here? It's easier to do it with crypto than with anything else, at least you are sitting at home, you don't have expenses like you can have with any physical goods. There's only one thing you need to have, $500k to buy and to wait the price to double!
Time frame and chances to become a millionaire will always depend on your starting capital, along with your skills of course. With more money you can take less risky investments, you have a wider range of possible investments, and of course you can make more profit in shorter time period.

In theory it is very easy but in reality it is a different story. If you want to sell a product for $ 1 million a piece, the product value should be about the same. We won't be able to do it right away because we don't have the capital. Letting you 1 million items for $ 1 each is a long way and it consumes a lot of our costs and efforts. It also depends on luck and there are too many problems to be a millionaire.

And they are most certainly doing that more effectively and efficiently that a newcomer would do simply because they were in the game and competing with each other for quite some time. And now we came to the point where you need to have knowledge about what you are planning to do. As I said you can buy/sell goods or crypto, and it will depend on your capital and skills.
Verge is anonymous crypto, its from before 2015 and until now  verge is 9000% ROI (check any ranking site). To not get into verge as the project too much, what's important here is that some people value privacy and anonymity and they will buy more verge and they will use it as long as they provide this two.
The same is with socks, you need to offer socks to the people who need it (people in northern parts are need it more than people who live entire year under the sun). What I wish to say is that you need to recognise the peoples need and to offer them exactly that, doesn't matter what you are buying or selling, knowning the market is the key for long run success.

To plan your business you don't need more knowledge than what you learned in college. All you need is basic understanding of how a trade works...

Sure you can make fat bucks by investing in shitcoins, that's the definition of gambling for me and I am not interested in it.

Its easy to say that but its very hard to do especially if we have many obligations in life. Each of us have our own priority in life, money, health education, shelter. That is good idea but there are things to be considered first and wow its hard to sell 100000 products at 10 a piece. Maybe someone can get that in other ways trading, investing high potential coins and saving some profits little by little.

The difficulty there is to make the sell even if this is at 1$ or $100000.
We don't have the skill to persuade people and make them believe they are in need for this product that we sell.
It is difficult to make a million in practice. In theory it is very simple and easy...

Wow! That was indeed an awesome formula on how to become a millionaire. But, I find it so confusing. For me, the real secret formula of becoming a millionaire is being smart, perseverance and hardwork. I believe when we have all this, we can all be millionaires one day. Success can be determined by striving so hard and being so wise in all the tasks that we are going to take as we travel along in each journey that we had.

I wish getting a million would been that much easy, but its not. Of course this topic can be discussed with million angles! I mean what are you selling, how you producing it, what is outreach in terms of population etc.
Even a small scale business needs huge funds to be thrown in the marketing chain to grab some business and earn break even value! When the business name gets recongnised in the market then they actually start earning their first buck and then thousands, then millions.
