Hi,

Is there any list of marketers where someone can easily know who is offering marketing services and what kind of specific platform?

I have some threads pinned and if the list is not been made up by anyone I am willing to make it up myself, Please comment below so I can know.

I believe being a marketer it is best if some marketer makes the list (Because he will know what information to be put to the list).

As far as I know there's no general marketer list available on this board. They mostly index their own thread/services and not the overall available services, except for translation services[1].

That will be a though job to do since provably almost all of the users here are marketers and seeking some jobs not only here but as well on the other sites, so I think there's no use to create that list since we don't know the actual user counts especially here.

This planned thread will just a venue for spammers to increase their post count.

Well of course it will be a self-moderated thread and I will lock the thread after posting it.

It will be open for new entries and making official announcements/entry by the person who wants to list the services.

Not that tough as I have a list already.

This is the closest that I've seen (OVERVIEW OF SERVICES) (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2727673.0) and it's been long inactive. If there is currently an active one, it should still be fine as long it isn't almost an exact copy with no new useful info added.


Since you're gonna list yourself too and got some negs, will the trust score play a part in your list?

I don't think there is one general list of marketing people with their specific platforms as most of them are independently posting their service in Services (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=52.0) section. However, I've found some old thread where people advertise their service in an old thread.

I am just not sure if those people are legitimate marketing provider.

Actually when I or someone who is going to make the list the trust rating will be mentioned in the list. I have never said that I am the one who will make the list anyone can do it and make the list.

There are now many people offering services like Social media marketing, increase the reach, adding banners to the site and many more all related to marketing, of course the list will have the category in which it will tell what kind of marketing services the user is providing.

Even if the list is present, it will not be updated because it does not appear on the front pages.
The disadvantage of such lists is that they need continuous updating, otherwise they will be useless.
If you can update it regularly, then it is okay to create this list.

In general, you can do whatever you want if it is well arranged and does not lead to spam.

I highly recommend that you do for those interested developers and parties who wants to market their project, this is a good initiatives although it needs a constant update but if you can keep it up and you want to help developers and project owner then go for it and it will you good reputation doing so.

I think any of those lists are good starting points but just make sure you contact each on the list and only put them there if they actually respond back, and look them up to see they are still legit;) You don't want to be listing scams or anything and defeat the purpose of the list! the problem with all these lists are they need to be maintained and no one got the time for that:)
