wanted to know what you guys thought and anything I should add.

Scrap it all. You're only recommending online wallets for your referrals.

Online wallets gives the companies the liberty of seizing your funds, blocking your transaction and accounts. It doesn't promote the main aim of Bitcoin to promote privacy. Your choice of "Trust wallet" isn't good either... No matter how much security they promise, no mobile wallet could rival the security of hardware wallets. None of your choices are about desktop wallets or hardware wallets. If you're serious about your recommendations, take the time to browse the forum and do your own research.

Do you only have 3 wallets?.

You could look at including electrum, potentially mycelium, éclair?

You could look at wallets on bitcoin.org. I think "crypto.com" should be more of an honerable mention as it is REALLY young.

I wonder what's your source of this list? I dunno if you even google the "best crypto wallet" keyword or similar to get best recommendation for your blog.

I suggest you to use google to make a good list instead of including wallets with referrals only. Bitcoin.org is a good source as well as already mentioned.

No, that is not the recommended crypto wallet at all. Web and custodian wallet is not a perfect wallet to store tour crypto asset.

This recommendation no makes sense at all, the purpose is to gain profit from referral program in each site! Damn!

I think its a good list for brand new ppl getting into crypto for the first time.  I know when i was new I struggled with the desktop and hardware wallets, and coinbase mobile app is what got my feet wet into this space.

would it make it better if I added the ledger hardware walllet?  There is a small mention of it at the top.

Hmm.. Fair enough. I don't think using a desktop wallet is particularly hard though. It's pretty much the same as using an online wallet and there is enough resources on the web to guide them along.
IMO, not that much, the way it is catagorised should include more of desktop wallet and consolidate the wallets that you're recommending into a section called online wallet. The list gives an impression that using Bitcoin requires the creation of an account.
Apologies if I come across too harsh. I don't discourage your use of referral links but the way it is structured seems to give me the impression that the wallets are being chosen for their referral programs?

the wallets were chosen for what is the easiests for a newb to start with and also what i use for my mining operation.... I mine nimiq to trust wallet, then transfer to coinbase if i want to cash out or transfer to ledger to store large amounts long term. 
I have plenty of desktop wallets on my laptop for all the speculative coins i mined and even some of the big ones.  they are not that hard to use but you need to downoad the entire blockchain, always make sure to update, connect to nodes, ... backup your wallet.dat file... etc..  were all crypto enthusiasts here.. but some of that stuff would turn off the average Joe.  I was trying to make it easy peasy for the mainstream average joe.  dont we want mass adoption to come into play?

Nimiq is the main reason i use trust wallet...to recieve my mining payouts.

Using a lot of wallets in the same device that contains a hot wallet is considered a problem, the fewer the number of wallets the less problems.
Your list is good, but you have to differentiate between the wallet and the transfer exchange. The wallet is a tool for managing your private keys, and therefore the possibility of buying through it is considered a disadvantage as the less Internet connection the better.

I can suggest that you divide the list into wallets and platforms to make things safer.

AFAIK, you can also use MyEtherWallet, MetaMask for nimiq

Crypto is basically be your own bank.
With using web wallets and other online services to store your coins, you are relying on central entities to store your coins. Nothing is decentralized about that.

There are extremely good and privacy-focused wallets available. And there are wallets with an extremely easy-to-use GUI available.
But you didn't mention any of them.

Some people might not like the reviews though because maybe it discourages some of their favorite wallets.

I start using Jaxx Liberty wallet. Do you suggest me another ? I want to have all the alternative coins to that and dont have a lot of wallets. Also fees must be low.

You pay the fees for the blockchain, not the wallet. They are the same everywhere.

If a wallet charges you an extra fee on top of the blockchain network fees, then you should move on to another wallet.

For BTC, use Electrum.org;
For ETH and ERC20, use MyEtherWallet;
For Altcoins, use Coinomi or Guarda.

If you are concerned about fees, use another wallet and not Jaxx. Jaxx won't allow you to enter the fees manually, you have to rely on their estimates. Many wallets tend to overpay on fees and Jaxx is not different than the rest. You can only pick between their estimates of High, Medium, or Low fees.

your best bet is probably using MyEtherWallet since they are both the same thing (ETC is the immutable version of ETH without the rollback) and according to their site it seems like they do support switching between the two networks.

Hi ermis1975. I saw you asking here after your thread on the web wallets. If the purpose of keeping your ETH, ETC and other coins is for long term holding. I like to advise you to buy a hardware wallet. Any of the two will do.

For ETH and Erc20, use MyEtherwallet through Metamask cause using MyEtherwallet direct is not safe.

I will advise you to choose Ledger hardware wallet due the vulnerability said about Trezor last year although I haven't read if the vulnerability is fixed or not but it better to use the safe product. However, there are some certain altcoin which the hardware wallet dont support.

Hardware wallets are safer but the one that I'm using is with Ledger. Choose from Nano S or Nano X, any of the two will do as long as you can avail it.

Some things you may need to consider first:
- What coins do you want to save, whether the hardware wallet supports them.
- Hardware wallet connectivity features such as cable, Bluetooth, NFC, air gap, card reader, etc.
- Support from developers for the development/updating of hardware wallet applications.
- Price considerations.

You cannot be talking of recommended cryptocurrency wallets without mentioning the trust wallet and I didn't see that on your website. The coinbase you listed can be recommended to people in some regions in the world but not Africa which they restrict from enjoying the benefits of fiat currencies trading like they offer to other countries.

What's with people and hyping wallets that are not open source. Top of the list of software wallets should be a wallet like Electrum.

The Coinbase has 3 different products

1. Coinbase Pro (advanced exchange) -  https://pro.coinbase.com
2. Coinbase (Simple exchange and custodial wallet) - https://www.coinbase.com
3. Coinbase wallet (Non-custodial wallet) - https://wallet.coinbase.com

OP should be talking about the third option that lets you access and back up private keys but again he was after making referrals.

I don't see a single reason to recommend "trust wallet".

It is just another random closed source wallet with no specific features other wallets don't have.
And the fact that it is being hyped that much by relatively new (or low level) accounts just makes me more suspicious.

Definitely wouldn't specifically recommend it.
