Hi, when I am looking into my portfolio, I am considering if XRP, NEO and EOS are a good choice or it would be better to exchange them for more progressive altcoins because I didn´t hear any crucial update that is coming in the next months.

While Ethereum is going to develop ETH 2.0, Tron has Tron 4.0 update, Cardano is close to mainnet, also IOTA and ICON in someway good performing, but XRP, NEO, and EOS seems to be passive, what's your opinion?

All these coins are reliable altcoins that on can invest in even if no interesting updates coming up, bullrun is on crypto already and holding any of these coins will bring you good profits if you are calm enough to HODL

This is no longer true information, we are not in 2017 bull run when every crypto coin grew no matter if it was active or not. Investors are now more careful, they will not make the same mistake again. For the next bull run, you should be well prepared and hold only coins with a strong community and active development. :)

Along with the coins you mentioned you can also buy or continue to hold BNB as well as this coin is also having a good upside in coming times and can be a good investment if done at low prices currently. As bitcoin continues to move upwards, we will see all such coins moving in the same direction and will give you a good profit for your portfolio.

XRP usually starts to stir at the end of the bull run, so while I'm waiting for it a bit, EOS is completely silent, are they still alive there ? Chinese government can somehow help NEO.

I'll avoid XRP and EOS. Just research why I've said that. For NEO, you can earn GAS from it so I didn't remove it.
But it's all your preference and what you think about them. It's a nice way to get the thoughts of other people from those altcoins that you want to know more why they are passive while others are not.

For me, NEO is already dead altcoin.
After Binance(BNB) before was become famous, NEO started to vanish. It's just sad because I also hold lot of NEO before, but I already sold them at loss and for now, I still don't find any good entry for NEO.
I am more now on technical analysis part if ever I'll enter again on these kinds of altcoins.

NEO is nearly a dead coin. EOS could be a good investment for long term. XRP always finds itself to get the limelight so could be a better investment than NEO.
I'd have recommended Ethereum but it's too high at the moment, it needs a correction. Tron would be tricky, a high risk high profit coin. They have good platform for dapp but their team are shady.   IOTA and ICON are as dead as NEO.

I'm not a fan of these coins, but if we look at the technical analysis, in the near future all these coins will show a very good result and bring a very large profit

You can buy all of the coins while the price is not too high now. We don't know which coin can give the best performance in the next, so maybe you can select yourself. But if I were you, I will buy some amount for each coin, and hold it for a while. But don't forget that there are many other coins that you can analyze besides those three coins.

Nice share here. If you are concern with the coin / project better to get the update that will bring impact
to it's value, it's best to know what are the  developments.
With such news, you'll be expecting good movement as aside from the bull market that we are seeing
right now, there are also  incoming updates.
Keeping yourself focus with those target coins to invest your money will help you to decide which is which
to invest and to stay away.

IMHO, XRP is a good coin with one of the fastest Blockchain cheap TX fees and the price range was stable even if the market was bad XRP still holding its position, thats why it is one of my coin choices in trading. while EOS and NEO are also good cryptocurrencies and its worth to hold because they have working products and services to offer thats why XRP, EOS and NEO  its worth to invest and hold.

is not it better to replace XRP with DEFI coins as your passive income? i have seen some defi coins have already offered passive income from their product. They were distributing the dividend to the holders and the dividend came from the its product.

EOS is a strong project that will develop very strongly in the future and I think that you can make a lot of money. soon we will see growth of this coin

I don’t know about EOS and the other coin, but XRP team has been working really hard, so I think the case is something different for that one. Although I am not investing in XRP, I have been kind of interested in it as of recent, and based on the information I have gathered so far, I believe that ripple is still has a long way to go and it’s going to be really great.

Although Bitcoin has more use cases, but XRP is the cryptocurrency that is being adopted by majority of the mainstream financial institutions around the world. And the way I see it, they still have plans to work with more of these financial institutions, and I’m looking forward to that.

Ethereum and XRP would still my top pick for altcoins, apart from altcoins that is growing today like LINK coz I still wanna see it for too long, I'm currently studying them and I need more time. Now I got XRP and ETH in my portfolio, these combine is 40% of my bag coz I still believe in XRP though many people has been calling it a dead coin after it fails them last year. ETH, there is no doubt about this coin its use case will be huge in the future. What I like about these two is their network, unlike in bitcoin which is more likely to be congested these days, these two can confirm transaction seamlessly, however due to amount of DeFi that we have ethereum network takes longer than it was before. BTC, XRP and ETH is your sure coin this year  :D

They are strong altcoins and can still do wonders not minding the news. Once Ethereum is mooning including BTC every other strong altcoins follows so holding them is quit good and aldo it's perfect we check news as to know when to dump and when not to to avoid missing out.

They are still alive but I think that they were not giving good updates on their development progress. In fact, so many times people have said that those coins who have very slow development progress are not worth to be used as an investment and Chinese government has already stated if they have no connection with NEO

Its not that they are passive but probably they are still on working progress. I dont really think xrp could have something any upgrade cause their platform works opposite of you mentioned projects. But for eos and neo they should fastrack their pace to caught with the eth and tron cause a smart contract competitor are advancing quickly while your platform is not.

Anyway still holding some neo cause I still believe in them.

They actually moving forward since this bull market is still on going. Sold already my xrp and trx. They actually made a good progress this last few days. While others hold some eos, it's not my choice to hold it since I was kinda disappointed from it before  but you may also consider coins like ltc and doge. Surprisingly, they are following this bull market, too. Maybe this is really the alt season we are waiting for.

It can not deny that the development progress for all of the coins is slow to depend on the other projects, but maybe those projects still doing something, and the developer is not give any news to the public. We will see it later for what will happens with those projects, and if the project is still doing something, it can affect the price.

NEO 3.0 should be completed in few months, 80% of code is already developed.

I wouldn´t say that NEO is dead, those updates in NEO 3.0 are very interesting. One of the interesting thing is NeoFS that should be a decentralized storage platform.  8)

the most important thing is that this update will be implemented. Neo did not make any updates for a very long time and most likely the 3.0 update will not be successful. you need to follow the updates
