- I don't really care about my placement, but I'm rather excited about what the future holds for crypto and blockchain. Things keep on evolving and people are understanding the solution that crypto and blockchain can provide.

How Many Money You Earned That Time?
- I'll HODL as much BTC and ETH as I can, and join easy events to earn profits. An example is NEM's upcoming 1:1 airdrop with their new XYM token.

Being a holder won't change me. I'll sell but I'll still remain holding up to 5 years or more.
How I will know? no way to know how much I'll earn by that time.
Retirement, enjoyment, business and other many things.

Hmm, I don't exactly know but I can foresee that I will finally be able to become a daytrader before that year comes. Actually, I'm now starting to make a research on what exhange is the best and how to use indicators and everything. It's just so happened that I don't have a decent job yet so I can't provide a capital for my journey (covid s*cks).

We have no guaranty in life and sometimes what we plan on our life is not always happening, we have to take it as it is we can only speculate or guess, maybe in the next five years I will be active in the bounty campaign and will still continue to invest and increase my knowdledge in Cryptocurrency, this is almost an endless cycle for those who want to learn

No one can arrange how much money can earn in next 5 years, escpecially if you are investor in crypto, crypto price unpredictable.

In the next 5 years, I will buy some cryptocurrencies that I think are good like LAMDEN, Ethereum and buy more bitcoins. I will still go to do my job and continue to trade cryptocurrencies, learn new kinds of technologies. I hope the world economy develops more and cryptocurrency will bring more benefits to the community.

One sec, lemme grab my time machine. I really have no idea what becomes of me in the next 5 years. I don't even dare predict how much money I'll earned by that time because I just want to keep my expectation low but still doing my best and harderst I can. Truth though we don't know what the future holds.
If things going well in the future then I'll have more experience on my money management to make more profit than before. Maybe I'll buy more cryptos or nay? Who knows, right?.

I am looking forward to merchants accepting cryptocurrencies.
Of course, it should be bitcoin first and everything will follow.

Although I want just one global cryptocurrency, there is no use thinking about it because in some way there will always be the competition which could be a good thing for the mass to have their own option.

I watched a video on youtube that there is someone who start trading bitcoin since 2013 ago with the amount of capital was $700 and he still keep the profit and right now the profit has reached one million dollar, how crazy it is. Since seven months ago I decided to be a trader in crypto and at this time I have got a consistent profit maybe it still small but I got it consistenly. I got arround $500 per months with the capital per months is $100, yeah you can count how much it will in five years ahead.

I cant disclose my earning on crypto but I am happy to my profits. You cant lose if you are not investing money and you cant gain either.

I am most likely gonna invest it on a good project and hold it for a long time. Not sure for others but its better to risk money to a good and potential one only if you had extra money for that. Always remember to dyor when doing this cause chance that you get rekt is a possibility.

I want to see something different from what I thought before for the next 5 years, crypto will continue to walk towards a better future than before and there will be a lot of crypto adoption in all fields in the future.

Answer: I guess people will start to use digital currencies on some shops. But, government has a way to control everything so I don't know yet.

The good thing is of course what predictions you will do in the future, but for me to determine the next 5 years is still too long and the possibility of changes in crypto could happen and we don't know.

To keep investing in the best altcoins is something worth doing, of course I will not be far from Bitcoin and Ethereum, because he is still the prima donna of investors to find and save, and for the top ranking altcoins in CMC, the changes may not be much different.

I've decided to limit my cash in and out for the next few years. I've been looking for a ways to make more crypto from my crypto holdings.
I aim to increase my crypto holdings by 25% of current amount every year for that I'd be involved in trading of bitcoin and Ethereum against USD.  I have also personally invested on some projects and further more would be involved in such investments.

I clearly understand my goals for 5 years and I even have a book in which I wrote what I will be like in 5 - 10 - 20 years. I am sure that the cryptocurrency market will bring me a lot of money over the next 5 years.

of course cryptocurrency will always provide many surprises in the future especially in the sector its price will increase from year to year and will increasingly make it difficult for many people to get bitcoin and when the price goes up, other cryptocurrencies will become expensive due to the influence of rising bitcoin prices .

I don't know how much I'm going to earn it all depends on what kind of projects that I'm going to invest in

I hope that in 5 years I will still find a project that will eventually turn out to be a gem, the cryptocurrency as a whole will be fine and I will be able to afford a little rest.

Actually, i started to save some crypto coins two years now. And I have my own goal. The moment I may reached my goal then I can buy my own asset that can help me to earn vigorously and continuosly. Or maybe when I reach my goal even if 5 years from now or less than 5 years, i also consider to put up a business where there is also crypto payments so I can be a help to spread some awareness in our area.

Well, in the next five years, I want to learn more as much as I can in the crypto space, especially trading.  I belief increase in Knowledge will also give me a potential increase in earnings.  In the next five years, I want to make it big in crypto than this.

What comes up at each stage of life will determine what I will do with the earning.  But as for me, I want to invest in physical properties I can see.

I see myself sitting at my terrace and looking all what ive invested through my earnings in crypto. Im not hoping for huge profit as long as my earnings is enough to fullfill the needs of my family and helping my relatives its enough for me.

As for me, I think I am still checking this forum but hopefully I'm already in the stable condition at that time. I want to find my niche in this world and not thinking of chasing for another job. Maybe settle in the countryside and tend my own garden. I think I will be happy in a simple, serene life.

It's hard to say of course, but I think I will continue to participate in bounty companies and of course I will continue to trade with cryptocurrency and I will spend the resulting profit on my own needs, well, of course, it is possible that cryptocurrencies will become legalized around the world within a couple of years and it will be easier to work with it.

I am a true hodler and crypto believer. That what is happening in the world only confirms to me that my opinion about the current financial system is correct. Sooner or later it will crash and people will look for alternatives = cryptocurrencies.  8)

To be honest, you can only hope for good as crypto is unpredictable, its a speculative asset as you can only hope for good. The way btc recovered from this pandemic ish, i may become big investor if the trend continues.

Probably to 10 grand, that's a huge amounts of money in my country.

Thats a really tall order, predicting oneself in the next 5 years, despite the unpredictability and volatility of the market, so there can only be suppositions with two paths, if the market keeps growing then that would entail in the realization of all my dreams, but if the market crashes, dreams shatter, but will to continue stays undampened.

Life just like the market is full of uncertainty we do not know what's going to happen, we do not know any idea what's going to happen in the future, I never expect my life to be in this industry because I am not very much into internet marketing nor investing online so I leave to fate what's going to happen in the next five years I just hope I will still be here.

This technology is permanent as long as there is an internet, and there is a lot to explore even if it is 5 or ten years so I will probably stay here and explore, promote and invest even if become rich or poor from investing, a lot of fo excitement and new things are coming out here every week and months and years.

In my case I cannot give you the exact amount that I maybe earning 5 years from now but I'm guessing that I can see a potential growth in my profit and earning due to the increase on the value of all the cryptos specifically those what I am hodling.

No one know what will happen after 5 Years, like No one did not know even 1 year before about Covid 19. But if life helps then I want to earn from this crypto world, I will invest in some good project and hope for good return.

Placement doesn’t come across my mind, I’m not here to be dragging for a position, as long as I’m making profit and I’m okay with what I’m making I’m good. So, I don’t really think about where my placement is going to be, main target is just to achieve more than what I have now and nothing else.

Secondly, on how much I might have earned, is it based on Bitcoin? That’s not a question I can really answer, because it will all depend on the situation as time goes on, that’s what will tell whether I will be buying more or not. And lastly on what I want to use my earnings, it’s mainly all about my business, I always invest in my business and other things I’m into, just like that, and at the end they are all to make extra income.

Me too. There is no need to rush to something that might actually be a fortune on the next few years. One thing is for sure, that after few years many coins and tokens would be gone and make sure that you had pick some good coins to hold for long term cause probably some of them will be valueless or become more worthy. Anyway this is just speculative statement. No one knows what will happened either.

Nothing is certain but one thing i am sure of,and that is i will stay in crypto for that 5 years time,i have been here for 3 years now and what is that 5 another years?

about the earning?i have earn more than 300% of all i invested in this market added those payments i got from Signature campaigns that i joined so better not to count but to remain waiting for the right time to full out.

I would say the best thing you could do right now would be to invest into 5 years later if you do not know what is going to happen. If you do not know, at least be sure that bitcoin itself is always profitable if you do long term.

Moreover, you would be capable of just increasing your bitcoin amount every month and 5 years is 60 months, so if you do invest 100 dollars into bitcoin for 60 months that should be at least 6 thousand dollars and with the right amount of increases I am certain that you should be capable of reaching to over 20-30 thousand dollars thanks to it. That means in 5 years you will have 30 thousand dollars only thanks to investing 100 dollars a month. This could be changed to your own financial situation and your own fiat if you want to.

Just want to get enough money which can fund my research and development project. Being pharma scientist it's always dream to get more and more money which can fund the projects.

The only way to get such huge money is through bitcoin investments and altcoins (some).

Since this market is offering greater hopes of hiking the hill, I believe it's way to enormous passive income. I mean with traditional jobs you get fixed income but rises slowly and there are more expenses than income these days.

Things are so costly, and it rises every year.

I have no clue to be honest. I remember that in 2017 I said to myself that I will exit the crypto space (at least financially) by 2020, but I am still here and I doubt I will give up on it anytime soon. I am not sure if I am mentally prepared to survive another 2+ year bear without taking any profits, so I will probably be better prepared than I was in 2017.

The year 2017-2018 first quarter were good days and almost every crypto trader, bounty hunters made a good profit after that at the moment only the whales I think are making a good profit. Next five years are very crucial in the crypto industry and I am sure every crypto trader will get good enough if he takes it seriously.

I think I will be here in cryptocurrencies for a long time (God willing), I found myself here and I am enjoying a lot by working in Crypto, and I have also made a lot of good gains so I don’t think I will give up all of that easily. I intend to stay here long. Of course I spend the money that I earn on improving the living conditions of my family.

In the next 5 years, I hope my holding crypto-currencies will give me a nice profit. Bitcoin is a great choice, and I hold it. Indeed, now there are coins that are priced higher than Bitcoin with very low supply. But I doubt it, I'm not sure it will hold out well. I think hold on to Bitcoin which already has a guarantee to survive in the future. Many companies adopt it as a means of payment, so the opportunity for high prices is very likely to occur.
If you ask about profit, I think it's only a matter of time. It depends on our confidence in maintaining Bitcoin during price fluctuations.
And if you ask questions about what we want to do with the income. It's just a matter of personality, has a long story.

The altcoins pumped x200 during the 2017 bull market was a big exception due to the unpopular crypto markets and low liquidity. I'm not sure if I could survive the covid but if I do, I guess the adoption is going to be wider because covid had opened the businesses into using cashless transaction in my country. Its possible that one day crypto will be accepted on local stores.  If I'd be earning a lot with the investments I did, I'd probably be buying more properties soon and just do a space for rent business and will just continue life. I think no earnings made instead I will be getting in debt for I am planning to build my own house. I can't estimate how much debt I could be but that would be huge because it is costly to build a new house here in our place . Besides earning here in cryptocurrency is not that good compared to before where many success projects and are really paying compare to now. There are only few projects that has been successful like those few defi projects but still not worth it compared to before in my opinion. ICO was one of the greatest projects that has been created but also one of the highest scam projects been created to which it evolves to STO, IEO and now DEFI.

5,10,15,20 years from now i am still here in crypto world learning, gathering and seeking knowledge and information about the market. For me crypto is something worth to invest time and consider as profession and expertise that is why it is lifetime commitment.

My hope would be to retire, that is always a dream of mine, I would definitely keep working but having the option to work versus needing to work is a big deal, I am still young and that means if I stop working now that would be 30+ years at least not working (probably more depends on life of course I can die tomorrow as well) and that is impossible, I would go crazy BUT if I have enough money to retire that means tomorrow if my job becomes impossible and I become unemployed at least I do not need money and I can live forever without working, so I can take my time during that period to find some other work.

I would rather have some sort of better money for other luxury stuff as well like a car hopefully but I mainly want it for not needing money anymore for life. I think a million dollars would be more than enough, less would be fine too but one million would fix these issues for good.

Actually, in my opinion entering the crypto world is a profitable thing if you can manage it well. There are many ways to get coins without having to spend the capital here. We can follow the bounty or Airdrop. For now until the next 5 years I will follow a good bounty or airdrop and also trade to collect coins and profit as much as possible. I hope that we will see at least 1 more real bullrun with new ATH's even for most small cap altcoins within the next 5 years. I did not cash out during the 2017/2018 bullrun because i was still very new back then and i did not really know what to expect. Then in the last bullrun my portfolio also had a pretty high value for a few weeks but again i did not cash out this time because of tax reasons i would have had to pay taxes on all the profit because i did not hold the coins for at least 1 year and to be honest even now that my portfolio hast lost 90% of it's value i still don't regret that decision because that kind of tax should not exist in the first place in my opinion.

So in the next bullrun i will definitely cash out some of my holdings if they are still worth anything then.

I don't know 5 years is still very far and i hope i still hold my ethereum at that time. 5 years is gonna be big and lit for cryptocurrency and i think ETH price already reach more than $100k at that time.

I'm planning to put up a house, school, and hospital for my own and neighborhood. School to educate the children. Hospital to help the unfortunate and share the opportunity in cryptocurrencies. I have a big heart with Small capital as for now. I believe this is not forever.

Next 5 years i believe unibright (ubt) will be the main spotlight for enterprise coin, UBT has gather so many great client such as Coca cola, Servicenow which already comfirmed and the project is already in productively stage. Many coin only offer a promisses and only survive on POC stage. UBT definetly be very attractive in few months when the staking will be live and they will pay staker with the coin that they buy from the market. If you compare it with other staking like food coin which will unlock so many new coin to circulation and make inflation but not with ubt cause currently all the token already in circulation.

I like your confidence, i am in the cryptocurrency market for a long time and i made my money and yet i lost them as well because of the scams and the market situation where the coins i was holding went to dust, so if you never make those mistakes and make sure you get out at the right time then you will be able to make a good profit and always follow the project you are investing and anything fishy just sell everything and move on.

This is why it is good to convert your tokens to sure currencies like btc. So even if you haven't converted it to your fiat, the chance of gaining its value throughout the years is high. Because let us admit, most of these tokens will die down eventually, especially if the dev team is only just here for short term. I can't really tell where I will be in the next 5 years, but I still believe that my position then in crypto would be more  better than where I am now. Cryptocurrency has a lot to offer to both traders and investors who are smart and know what they are doing. A lot of careless and ignorant investors are still going to lose at the long because not everybody that will really succeed in the crypto world.

Well, if this were a question in a job interview, our initiative in the answer will be more perfect when we know the capacity, knowledge as well as the foundation that our self can build in five years but faced with such a question in investment, we have lost the initiative when crypto is not in our ability and knowledge, the vastness here makes it difficult for us to judge. Five years is a pretty long time in crypto business so we can't say definite things about future. I'm pretty optimistic about it though. I can say that I hodl at least some portion of my Bitcoin without touching, I can't say same thing about my altcoin holdings though. I don't see any coin that give me trust for 5-years plan. They need to prove themselves first. 5 years ago there wasn't %99 of coins in the market now. Though guess but one thing for sure, whenever you go in crypto you never go out completely.

If the crypto market still has potential, I will stay here. In the next 5 years I may have more experience in crypto trading. I'll jump on the bandwagon and suggest you search out an old scrypt coin that still has an active thread, block-chain, exchange and working wallet (especially if it also has an Android wallet)  It doesn't have to be worth too much, just enough that it's affordable to buy in bulk (at a reasonable price) and can be HODLed for the foreseeable future.

I myself did something pretty much the same. I will allocate the results of daily trading and bounty tokens to top market coins such as BNB and ETH. this is for my long-term planning.

Don't forget about the bear market, in the next 5 years we will at least get past the bear market two to three years before going back to the bull market again. You may be able to take the last moments of this bull market, but only temporarily and make sure after that you exit the market to avoid the bear market,
I personally have made a map for the next 4 years calculated after 2021 ends, The first 2 years was a bear market, and the next 2 years was a bull market.

if you want something quite promising for the year ahead, try to choose a popular coin that is currently available, such as bitcoin, ethereum, or BNB. I'm pretty sure the price will be quite high. other than that, if we are still in the crypto world for the next 5 years, of course we will adjust our assets until then.

The next five years of my life would be crucial for me as I need to be decisive and at the same time, ambitious. By that time I should be able to amass many satoshi and ethereum that I can muster so that in five years time I should be able to buy a property that I can use to rent it out and earn more money. Sometimes, we have to be strategic to our goals and be able to think smart when it comes to managing our eggs and in time we would not be working anymore for money.

Looks like the OP hasn't been active on this forum for a long time, but some good investments for the next 5 years are Bitcoin and ETH even though there are some new projects in the crypto space like DeFi and NFT platforms, some altcoins will still follow BTC price movements, I've been holding coins Waves for 1 year and have made good profits, I think always believe that your choice will be a good thing because there will be no regrets because it was your choice

Following the trend can't be profitable always. Though, newbie in crypto follows the trend and invest their money to make good profit. It has a success rate but the trend might end shortly and investor will be trapped in big loss. It's better to do technical analysis for short term profit. Invest in BTC, ETH, LTC and some other top alts if you have the plan of holding for few years. Those coins have higher potential to increase more within next few years. I prefer to hold unless I need some money urgently.

Alot has changed over the years, today alot of people now know more of bitcoin than they did 10 years ago.
