Title: What License is Valid?
Post by: bonjouros on August 20, 2020, 10:15:52 AM
I've visited a lot of casinos and bookmakers lately (Most are crypto based) some of them doesn't have any license which I'm afraid to play with and some have some Licenses but I'm not quite sure if they are legitimate or not does anyone here knows how to check or validate their license it seems that anyone can just put under that they are regulated or have license but i'm not sure how to check if they are legitimate

Also is there a list of valid licenses?

There are no "valid" licenses across the online platforms of the gambling world. There can be legitimate platforms that doesn't have any license but would still pay you and fair to its customers, and there are 'licensed' (it can just be a fraud/fake license) that was just scam. But we do always consider the license of a gambling platform that is to operate in their local country. But with such license being shown publicly to all of its users, it is also important to double check it. Most countries do have a local department (which gives the licenses to gambling/casino owners to operate) that has online websites which you can see if such companies where registered or not.

Costa Rica does not issue gambling licenses.

Curacao usage right contracts appear to be not valid. Google: Curacao license scam

Alderney, Isle of Man, Malta and UK Gambling Commission licenses are valid, but that does not mean that you will get your right.
