For the past few years I've organised betting pools for the English Premier League (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4479837.0) along with the Champions League (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4919683.msg44289685#msg44289685) and World Cup (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4130568.msg38157956#msg38157956), and now it's time for the 2020/21 Premier League pool which will kick off on the 12th of September. This year's pool is sponsored by Sportsbet.io and they've generously donated 0.15 into the pot along with some other great prizes (see details of below), so thanks to both jeremypwr and Sportsbet for that.

We will again be using the www.superbru.com website for predictions where you get 3 points for predicting an exact score, 1 point for a correct outcome (win/lose/draw) and 1.5 for a close prediction with correct outcome. Superbru is a free and easy to use site taking only a minute or two to register. You can change your scores right up until kick-off and you can even put your predictions in advance even for the entire season if you wanted to which is perfect if you think you might be away for the forum or not have a chance to make your predictions.

The price to join is 0.0045 in bitcoin and 100% of the money received is paid out between the winners. The total prizes will depend on how many people ultimately join, but based on 34 users joining at 0.0045 which will make the total pot a little over 0.3 the prizes will likely be as follows:

2nd 0.05
3rd 0.04
4th 0.03
5th 0.02

6th 0.01
7th 0.01
8th 0.01
9th 0.01
10th 0.01

A little over 30 users joined last year's pool but I anticipate at least 40-50 users this year and hopefully maybe more. If many more users than that join I may increase the payout places to top 15 or so. However, I would also like to boost the above prizes a little as well to make it more competitive, but this will all be decided once users have finished signing up and the above prizes are likely the minimum you can expect to be in with a chance of winning.

In addition to the prizes above Sportsbet are also offering a free Watford shirt to every player who signs up (assuming you want one and subject to stock). They will also be offering a $50 free bet to every 'yellow cap' of the weekly round which is the user that gets the most points in that week. Finally, the best prize they're offering is one lucky player will be in with the chance to win an all expenses paid trip to a football game of their choice*. How it will work is everyone who joins will be entered into a raffle. The number of raffle tickets you get will depend on your final place in the table at the end of the season, for example:

Assuming 50 players join:

1st place will win 50 raffle tickets
2nd Place 49 raffle tickets
3rd Place 48 raffle tickets, and so on with the player who finishes last in 50th getting 1 ticket.

This way everyone who joins has a chance to win but the better you do the better odds you get at winning. Please note: I am only responsible for paying out the cash prizes and all other prizes will be handled by jeremypwr and Sportsbet.

*Full terms and conditions of the football trip raffle will be released shortly before the pool stars.

If someone from the USA wants to go to a MLS match or someone wants to go to a Champions league game in their home country it would be much cheaper to do that than fly someone across the world to the PL, but I'll keep everyone updated. There's no rush for payment for anybody who is worrying. As long as it's in before the season starts then it's all good. People can join even after it's started but you'll obviously be dropping points.

Just to clarify, I think the shirt offer is for the old one, and not the new one, but I'll get clarification on that. Hopefully they might throw in a new shirt somehow for some winner. I'm sure they'll be doing some giveaway for it regardless.

I assume they got a certain amount of jersey for promotion under the contract, now with a new equipment sponsor and new design are no longer top-up.

There's no deadline per se other than the start of the season but I'd rather get everyone's money in asap so I can work out the prizes. The more people that join the bigger the pot is and the more lucrative it is which makes others wan't to join. Don't really want a load of last minute sign-us if I can help it. I thought we'd have at least 30 users by now. Think only ten have paid so far. The more people that join the more likely it is we'll get a better sponsor for next pools including the CL one.

There's certainly no rush but the season is fast approaching with 18 days to go. I'm sure most users will sign up from last season but I'll be pretty disappointed it we don't get at least 30 users, though at least it gives us a better chance at winning. I thought we'd be swamped with interest this season due to the prizes. Pretty cool that Sportsbet stepped in at the last minute to sponsor them and keep Bitcoin in the Premier League. Nice to see that they've put the BTC logo on their shirts too as that's good for exposure and adoption and something Sportsbet certainly don't have to do so shows their commitment to bitcoin.

Here is a prediction Premier League pool. Sign up fee cost each player 0.0045BTC and the whole championship is played based by earned points.
Sportsbet.io as the main sponsor of Watford and Southampton (you can find Sportsbet name on his jersey) is also a sponsor of this pool and in addition to cash prizes, there will be some t-shirt's giveaways. not for everyone but some will surely get it.
For now, we don't know if one person will be awarded, ten or all of thirty pool participants. but it will certainly be interesting

What cryptofrka said is correct: everyone who joins gets a shirt. It was and still likely is a Watford shirt as from what I understood Sportsbet have a surplus of them, but I'll get confirmation before the season starts. Either way maybe sportsbet will throw in some of the new Watford or Southampton shirts for some of the winners but don't quote me on that.

Last call for anyone wanting to join the pool. There's a little less than 4 hours to go before the start of the first game and over six before the next one at 3 o clock so missing one wouldn't matter too much especially as some people will get that game wrong. If anyone wants to play but doesn't have the money yet I will give you a month's grace period to join so as long as you pay by the 12th you won't be removed. We currently have about 43 users and the pot is at 0.34215000BTC.

I have also been rejected several times any of my upload avatar pictures. the only thing I understood as a reason, it needs to be a personal picture of myself. I don't want to share it there. I see that some have registered using Facebook account automatically taken profile photo from there.

There is a rule on upload photo settings:
"Please upload a photo of yourself, ideally a close-up of your face: seeing genuine images of other players makes Superbru more fun for everyone. We will reject at our sole discretion images that we believe do not meet this criteria."

Maybe they're just really strict about copyright or pictures of people who obviously aren't you (unless you are really Marouane Fellaini  ;D). They accepted mine no problems though.

There's still a few people who need to pay so I'll wait till those are in so I can work out the prizes fully as we took in a little more than expected so some of the prizes can go up a little. As for the shirt, the details are still being worked on but everyone should get a shirt if they want one. Not sure whether it'll be the new or old Watford shirt but I'll keep everyone posted.

Superbru gives all users 15 'default' picks if you miss any games where it backs the winner for you so you can take advantage of that and overtake me in the process  : ;D.

It was the Watford shirt last time I spoke to them but nothing has been confirmed yet and maybe things will change now they've sponsored Southampton. I will keep everyone updated when I get any info.

When you say sent another message what exactly do you mean? For testing purposes I just sent you something called Brumail on Superbru. I guess you should get it on the mail you registered with Superbru. Did you do that or there is some other way to send message as well? If you did something else send a test one to me and I will let you know how visible it is.
