Title: Flash back Stock mod
Post by: sakmsb on August 23, 2020, 06:47:59 PM
Hello All,

Flashed Gigabyte 5700 XT Gaming OC and it won't work now, is it completely dead?

I modded this and it won't boot up the system. I have modded other 5700 XT Sapphire Nitro+ and XFX without any issues.

I connected it in a different slot and in primary slot connected the 580 - Still won't boot up.

I removed the 5700 XT and system boots up. tried all combinations, but whenever 5700 is connected in any slot, system doesn't boot up.

How do I flash it back to STOCK, which I have saved already before flashing.

Thanks!

It's weird, you should have video signal with RX 580 on first slot as a primary card

You can do this (sometimes this saved me of bad situations)

Install Team Viewer in this rig (with your rx 580 installed), than make this app open with windows and make an account to have access to this PC when you turn on
Install teamviewer in another PC or smartphone (but is difficulty to deal in a small screen), then turn on your PC with this "bricked" card

You'll have full acess via remote desktop, with team viewer, flash your original bios to RX 5700XT, if this not work, try to make this with a downloaded bios, here you can find: https://www.techpowerup.com/vgabios/

Thnks!

I was able to boot up with onboard Graphics and this bricked card showed up.

I flashed back the stock bios successfully.
