Title: Windows 10 Updates and Staking Wallets Question Post by: paramind22 on August 23, 2020, 09:26:44 PM I have one Windows 10 machine and it was set for doing updates and the required reboots. The last update/reboot totally rewrote my OS's relationship to the wallets, and only one wallet (Neblio) was able to connect to appdata to use its blockchain. All the other wallets I had to backup or redownload. Has anyone heard of this happening before?
This was set up originally to not do the reboots but I had to check some of the hardware before the warranty was over so it was set back to do reboot. Now it should not reboot. There will always be the time that there will be changes with the apps that you use suddenly but, there are remedies that you can find on google by searching the exact scenario to your PC.
If redownloading the wallets won't work, search for the possible cause, and might be there's a change to the settings. I usually get these updates and have to tweak sometime if something wrong has been noticed. |
