Title: Re: U3 gh/s Post by: bmoscato on August 29, 2020, 01:15:33 AM I haven't messed with the U3's in a years (almost 5 to be exact), but I had a bunch of issues with the few I had. I could never keep them running long term and had to replace fans and redo the thermal paste... I felt like I was always trying to doctor those things. That said, when they ran, they hashed in the 60GH/s range.
What software are you using? CGMiner or BFGMiner? Title: Re: U3 gh/s Post by: Kidsid63 on September 01, 2020, 02:04:57 AM Cgminer 4.9.2, it seems to work with old version better
Title: Re: U3 gh/s Post by: bmoscato on September 02, 2020, 01:43:35 AM I recall having an easier time running them BGMiner with them back in the day. That said, have you tried running the VH fork of CGMiner 4.11.1? I find it works well with the old U1/U2's, but I haven't tested it with a U3.
Follow the directions in this thread for the VH CGMiner: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5053833.0 You can also mess with the settings using the current version of CGMIner: Code: --au3-freq <arg> Set AntminerU3 frequency in MHz, range 100-250 (default: 225.0) Also, this thread has a lot of information: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=827356.1480 |
