I report to moderator everytime the idiot posts. Wish they'd hand out a more severe punishment then deleting the thread to morons looking to scam everyone.

I believe these people won't stop doing shit just to scam people for some bucks or their data or whatever their intention is, but the fact is, mods or even admins can't stop these assholes considering that when evil points are there, countable, these people won't hesitate paying some money buying copper membership and then come up with a new scam technique every time in future.

That thread has been deleted, maybe the thread was deleted after reported by yahoo, it would better if you have an archive the whole thread.

Most countries are now suffering from recession and most of them might have financial problems, and jobless. They will do anything just to earn even small bucks by fooling people.

We should be vigilant at all times and helping each other when there is someone spotted a scam attempt. Thanks to you OP.

If there's an opportunity to attack the unfamiliar persons for this scheme for sure they will never stop those scammers are used to do this and I think they earn a living on this scheme so no wonde that they will continue to do this and became more tactical to get more victim. It's good to have this thread opened up since it makes people aware for this existing scheme.

All they need is one person to fall for it. Look at the twitter scam a while back, they still got away with $100k. Cast a wide net and you are bound to catch something.

The time it said you can deposit something then it will be doubled, that for sure arises some doubt on some users. It's a obvious case of scam just by reading the whole OP.

I reported two posts about nitrogensports btc doubler scam yesterday. The poster even tried to ward off members from warning other users by locking his own thread.

A preventive measure like this "https://[Suspicious link removed]/xxxxx" would be good even if it's just for brand new or newbie accounts. Only a few scammers would be willing to spend for copper membership because they know it will be banned immediately.

This scam behavior been around this forum since 5 months ago here A scam targeting NitrogenSports users (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5229888.0). As we know nitrogensports is one of trusted and popular casino, this is why many fraudster take opportunity about it.

People are free to create thread what they wanted. If we found it's scam, the best way is create thread to make newbies more aware and report to moderator.

Is this already know by the Nitrogensports team? I guess they may have warned their customer regarding this.

Even though there is copper membership, scammer willing to spend just for their trap. I guess theymos need to take action on this, higher a little bit the subscription of copper membership. Doubled or tripled the price.

there was a request asking theymos to nuke or disable the phishing link from the forum(not sure how). seeing that members actively reporting posts like this after seeing them and moderators nuking the poster is probably enough punishment.

some one already reported it to them , hopefully they will send email as a warning for users .Hackers are becoming more aggressive now and they are using well-known websites to get rid of scams .

I also saw that thread last day and they locked it so member can't response on the thread hopefully no one will be victim with this scheme.

that scammer made a thread on this forum before.  same messages he said as what seen on the screenshots  .  he ask to download an add on to claim the bonus but by that , that is already suspicous and i dont think there will users who actually try that because thier accounts will only get hacked and they can loose more than the reward offered . on the other hand there also a guy saying theres a glitch on nitrogen casino . are they both related. ?

I even wrote in this deleited topic that I doubt the veracity of the proposal. Indeed, as soon as some serious project appears, fraudsters will surely come running and start trying to deceive people in all sorts of ways. But BTT are experienced users and it is almost impossible to deceive them, unless of course not Newby. This scam is aimed at Newby.

Thanks for this article and clarification posted by OP with the screenshot and would certainly helped many people who would have either thinking to go for it or might have fallen in this scam in future if this would have not been posted here. It was quite evident because else Nitrogen sports would have promoted it by themself if that was the case.

You have spoken my mind,it's clear that is their
intention to dump peoples which some people have known seen, but emphasising on this critically it look like we have personal intention.
Shall I can say we should be observate via all these.

i'm sure Nitrogensports are doing some actions regarding some users playing some tricks to scam another players. .05 btc reward is kinda huge just for installing add ons for a browser. Glad that OP, opened up this thread so we may also aware this kind of way scammers are trying to do. Those btc doubler and other good to be true offers by members are usually suspicious and can't be trusted.

Scammers are very rampant nowadays not because they are greedy for money but I guess their number grows up because of the
situation that we are in as we are currently facing a pandemic as of this moment.

And it is good that you have started this topic so anyone who have experienced the same situation with yours will be aware and will
not fall to the hands of the scammers. I will be hoping that nitrogensports team will do something about it also to prevent further damage in their side.

Never underestimate the power of free stuff, while I have no doubt that the majority of the people in this forum will never fall for such a scam at the same time there is a small amount of persons that will and that is all what that scammer needs.

Because even if we think that the amount of money that can be obtained in this way is very small the truth is that for a scammer leaving in a poor country the few mBTCs that he gets could be more than enough to sustain his life which will only encourage him to keep scamming people, and since the amount stolen is very small the chances that he gets away with this are very high.

Majorities will never believe to that scam attempts though there's still some newcomers that will be curios and possible be trapped
to this scam.

Fortunately for us people are more aware of the fact that there are scammers out there that will do anything and say anything to obtain their money and as a result of this they are taking better care of their coins and they do not believe everything that they read or that they hear, however it is impossible to protect every single person from their own mistakes and unfortunately scammers are aware of this and they are simply playing a numbers game.

They know that if they keep making posts like this in throwaway accounts they will eventually deceive a person and they will obtain money that way and then that person will come to the forum asking for help and the truth is there is nothing we can do.

Part of the reality on where no matter how hard we do give out warnings and cautions there are still people who do fall out into these kind of scam traps which are obviously an attempt to grab of
money to those people who do believe on easy money.

If we do just think off sensibly then we can really able to spot out or would really have the doubts yet we can always make up some verification if Nitrogen did really able to have that kind of
testing or event.

Simple search wont really cost you an arm and leg but people do always skip out this basic thing.

Indeed, these scammers are targeting this betting platform because it's trusted enough and having alot of customers here in the forums. Glad that the thread has been reported and removed by the moderator. Does anybody here know how the scammer steal the funds? All i know right now is that he's trying to make peoples install a FireFox addon but how this addon enables him to steal funds? can anyone clarify? Is he asking for a deposit into an address listed in it or what?
