They're very common on the forum. Just report them and they'll be removed pretty quickly.

they are, but the thread OcTradism mentioned is weirdly focusing their advertisement here in meta. I've reported a fair number of them in the past few months since they are pretty easy to spot in this board

You can count the Clock on that kind of Thread here in meta !

Nearly every 2 Weeks or 3 we have that thread here in Meta and on other boards with the spam advert they doing .
Just report them and it takes not long and the threads and posts gets deleted .

Well, it's been nuked so hooray I guess.

@acroman08: Most probably because of the traffic potential in Meta. But these kind of things are rare; they're abundant in Off-Topic.

Just report them. Meta is checked by moderators closely so it won't be missed or delayed for long.

But the irony is the same thing that spam threads happen in Meta. Although the argument is that the bots who spam these threads across many forums don't check where it's being posted. ;D

I brought it to Meta after I see some advertisement threads from them. They always created their advertisement threads with brandnew accounts.

A spammer can make a post anywhere, that's why they are a spammer. Simply just report to moderators and they are very active to trash such as a post. Often I have been doing the same and seems moderators are quite active to remove posts. The accused thread has been deleted by moderators, please lock this thread.

This is my first time to encounter an "inappropriate advertising" (that's the comment I put every time I report such thread) here in Meta. Because usually, I only see this only on large boards like Bitcoin & Altcoin Discussion. What a gutsy man ;D!
