Hello,

I need to do an own token or altcoin but can’t consider on which blockchain to base it? I need FASTEST one... so that transactions were confirmed in a few secs. So it shouldn’t be an Ethereum blockchain but something else.

Please let me know which blockchain to use for creating token/altcoin over it.

I just try suggest you to use TRON or POLKADOT. DOT is a new project but some defi have already started to use DOT tokenization as it was having a very good scalability.

EOS is not a good blockchain to be used for the tokenization purpose but you can also put chainlink on that list too.

TRON, DOT and LINK platforms. These platform are the best platform for the tokenization purpose at this moment.

There are lots of blockchains out there that can be used as a base for your token, but I think the best and easiest way of making them is ETH. You may be able to make it on another blockchain, but the enthusiasts are not as much as you are making it on the ETH platform. ETH also has fast transaction speeds, it's just that currently there are many transactions that make GAS prices expensive, so transactions with low GAS are difficult to confirm.

You can simply create tokens at stellar, tron or waves if you want to exclude ethereum network but to be honest my personal choice would still be ethereum because it provides so many benefits related to listings and dexes etc. As far as scalability issues are concerned they are being worked out too and soon ethereum network will be the top choice again for dapps and tokenization.

If you want a token and you don't have a lot of coding skills, go for Ethereum or NEO - the transactions are confirmed in ~15 secs on both.
If you have some coding skills I suggest to make a fork of a coin like Nano, Stellar (Ripple) (5-10 secs block time), among the fastest around.

If youre gonna create one, then ethereum is no doubt tjr simplest way to create the only verdict is that the gas fee is high and transaction is not like other platform.

Tron is faster than eth but Im not sure whether creating the trc20 is as easy when you deploy a smart contract on ethereum network.

You can also try klay blockchain but Im not sure if they already releasing tokens on klay network.

Create your own and make it as your wish but creating token on other blockchain may not meet all your criteria once your project got successful.And also make it as zero transaction fee blockchain so no one will be hard time having while sending. :P

There are many platforms to use but it will be based on your main purpose for that transactions or your project classification. ETH been popular in many ICOs before but we can't deny that it's getting crowded that cause slow transaction as well high fees. Waves also list many projects those days.  You can also try EOS platform or it can be an option too since it's not just popular for games or Dapps but also in some otge projects relating to finance or wallet.

You could also try Minter Network (https://www.minter.network/) as its transaction speed is very fast compared to other networks which averages in less than 5 seconds per transaction (https://explorer.minter.network/) and has an easy to use interface for token creation.

Waves has many projects but the problem is that the coin is not as popular as it has been a few years ago. Also so many projects that used the Waves platform also did not fare well compared to the coins like Ethereum or EOS Platform. Many of those who wants to have a token should have preferred Ethereum but it is getting slow transfers due to congestion because of so many tokens that uses the token at a daily basis. You can try Tron also, but my reason I recommended that is simply because I think it has fewer projects that used it, hence faster processes.

The Ethereum blockchain is the best choice overall. Easy to use and more trusted as compared to the likes of TRON and EOS. In terms of speed, it only takes approximately 25 seconds for Ethereum to validate a single block. There must be a valid reason why Ethereum is the consistent top choice among all other blockchains.

waves if you are looking for a platform that you can easily build token also with lower and fast transaction compare to ETH.

Alternative option is  Tron f this is one of the popular token maker aside from ethereum platform.

Why do you need a fastest blockchain really for? Why do you need a fast confirmation? Despite fast transaction confirmation speed, pay also attention to transaction cost and overall popularity of blockchain. Ethereum seems to be NOT your option, NEO is something from different planet and it might be hard to create a token on it. Tron - you will face some inconvenience like bandwidth, energy. Maybe Waves is your best option?

Ethereum Blockchain is the best choice for creating your token, Ethereum Blockchain has been the first choice for a long time for creating a Token.

use the TRX blockchain. I believe that this is the best blockchain for new projects. create a coin very cheap / network fees are the lowest / blockchain is very fast

What's the purpose of your token creation? Other members have been suggesting you to go with Ethereum as it's the most used blockchain and smart contract.
But I understand why you don't want it because of the network fees and delay that it has. You don't have to worry about it as it's Ethereum itself and not its ERC20 tokens.

I would choose Waves or Minter blockchain. I think these are two of the most relevant blockchains for new projects. It is also important to understand the reason of creating your project in order to make the right choice.

if transaction fee be main problem for ethereum smart contract, maybe tron platform could be the solution or maybe polkadot that recently booming. these platform give us convenience for contract creating and also in tron or polkadot it have better than ethereum. investors already bored with ethereum network trouble and they have to find solution for it.

I don't know how fast NEO's transaction speed is, so i can't comment anything but I know exactly about ethereum, ethereum transaction is not fast. Yes, you can make it fast but the fee will be so high too. If you have no experience in coding, I suggest Tron blockchain, the transaction is fast and very easy. Tron advantages are very cheap transaction fees and have a large community.

Waves might not be that popular but it is one of the easiest platform to create a token which somehow implies that the creation is also faster. 

Op should make his own research after reading replies here and consider the pros and cons of each platform.  Because the platform gives an ease in creation of token does not mean that it is one of the best platform out there nor if gives more challenge on token creation does necessary means that platform sucks.

The easiest way to make token will be goes to Waves platform as you doesnt need any knowledge to create your token in there. Ethereum link dash monero eos need some technical advance to make new token so if you want the fastest transaction ,the cheap one, so waves is your answer..

I too agree that if anyone wants to make a new token based on any blockchain, it should be ethereum for sure. I know that it is expensive for ethereum transactions and I know that it is quite clogged and it takes time for transactions, but those are the only downs there is.

Ethereum is much more complex and comprehensive when it comes to blockchains plus you would be able to allow stuff like mew or metamask to publish you as well, so there is this huuuuge ease of use as well that you have to consider. Long story short there is a huge deal of ethereum awareness that people have that you can't ignore. All other stuff have their own shortcomings as well but none of them are solved by just using a bit more fee to send anything, this has its own solution.

Polkadot is also becoming popular but I have no idea about the platform or project. Tron is also having their network and being suggested by others.
How about considering the other popular chain? Binance chain? is it that quick as the other suggestions that we're having?

I do suggest the use of Ripple (XRP), as I've been using it for dozens of transactions I've made and still had no issues with its transaction speed nor its fees, even never had any delays. Their fees was too small, for about approx 0.00001 XRP (minimum) depending on the market of course, you can easily transfer money across the globe. I suggested it as I think it was far the current fastest blockchain technology with low fees. But if you would really make an altcoin, most cases (in which it is the most efficient), better use ERC20 system.

But yes, TRON is also promising.

personally I would suggest a platform like $waves since I have much confidence using it.
Also it allow exchange easy your coins in several altcoins (like w-eth/ltc or btc or FIAT). It's very easy setup a wallet or create a token and they have introduced functions that allow the creation of smart assets.
As already people said they have lost "appeal" during this years but this not means there are point of weakness.

One of the fastest Blockchain is TRX. It can be an idea using it, but without details of what you're searching for and why it's very hard say what is better.

NEO transaction speed is 15 sec (block time) as I said in the first place. I don't make lobby for NEO in here but one major benefit of NEO block chain are TX fees which are 0. Now it all depends what the OP want to accomplish with his cryptocurrency.

If you want the fastest and cheapest way to create a token then head over to WAVES platform the fees they charge is really low. ETH is bit on expensive side right now because of gas fees.
I am not sure but, I think you can also create tokens on Harmony's chain.

It's just that you won't have the freedom you can get from ethereum if you choose Tron, the CEO is a pain in the ass for new projects that use Tron blockchain, the CEO behavior is like the one you would get from a centralized blockchain platform.

Its not about the price but the effectivity of the platform to provide a tokenization service. For me the best one is always ethereum network. Yes it may have been so clogged and congested at the moment and even the fees are expensive but in terms of useful use case, we can all agree to that the eth erc20 and advance tokens are widely used in cryptocurrency business. There are a lot of blockchain platforms you can choose for such as Ethereum or waves. There are more actually. The easiest would be waves I believe though it's not that popular and most projects that were using their platform didn't do well. Ethereum at the other hand might be a good choice though not many projects nowadays are using them, and apart that ethereum has a kinda high gas fees now. But be reminded that you need a clear purposes of making your own alt or project since even the big one might ended up failing too.

 you consider the speed of creating a token ? or you are only concerned on the speed of the transaction   ? because your title and content are both different but theres really a blockchain that makes token creation easy or fast  and you are right , its not etherium  .  so many good blockchains to choose from aside from eth   .  the oldest and most trusted would be waves but its also kinda outdated now and new projects arent usually based on it  . most popular would be trx  .

Waves is one of the worse smart contract/Dapps provider and it not awlays about the fast transation Tron have but what the crypto community support the most.



You just listed the worse smart contract/dApps provider coins but I wonder the reason why you still recommend the coin which you already know the CEO to be pain in the ass and I think you guys notice that token issued on ETH usually gain more investors interest than other smart contract provider.

I think you mean BNB for Binance chain since BNB is its native token. As with your suggestions, I think i will likely chose between EOS and TRON networks because its easier to create a custom token on them and their transaction speeds are also relatively fast. Imho.

indeed BNB is a coin from a large exchange but you must know that not all exchange places or other transaction places have exchanges for BNB coins, usually they will prefer to use Tron because it has very cheap transaction fees and has a very stable trading volume .

Ethereum is not recommended now because of the very high fee that it incurs and the very slow transaction because of the popularity of Defi I almost proceed with $5 of my $35 transfer when it used to be 20 cents, I recommend Waves or Tron in place of Ethereum.

tron have low transaction fee and also it have good transaction speed than ethereum that need long time to confirmed in network if using low gas fee. NEO also provide good feature in their blockchain , but unfortunately only few project based on NEO platform now. maybe if alot project using platform outsied ethereum it will make market move healthy.

To create your own token or the crypto if you want to choose the blockchain other than Etereum blockchain then you should go for Tron or EOS based blockchain. Both of these are very fastest transaction but we consider Tron blockchain is quite fast transactions. There is no congestion also you face while the demand of the token also increases. Maybe if you want to make a token, but apart from using the Ethereum blockchain, you can try using the Tron blockchain and the Waves blockchain.

You cannot get very fast transaction confirmation in Ethereum indeed, but why do you need fast confirmation ?
I think you can try to make your own token in EOS blockchain, EOS block time is very short, so your transaction will be confirmed just in seconds.

As you said that the gas prices are now expensive on the ethereum network then why would one should make his token on ethereum network in turn he can have the token on other networks like EOS, Tron or polkadot, these networks are currently very lucrative and only a few tokens based on these blockchains are in the market right now.
Ethereum is the network of choice for those who doesn't care about the network fees and are ready to pay higher fees and aren't flexible enough to shift to a different blockchain for their tokens.

BNB would be the best choice because not only they have a great blockchain that you could use but they also have this amazing addition of being listed right away. I would say that best way to go with would be to get in touch with Binance team and try to work with them on a new project.

You can get pointers from them and with the feedback they give you, you could actually build something that would allow you to get listed right away because since they helped you, they would be basically getting something handmade for their exchange as well, they will tell you what you have to do to get listed and if you do those things you are directly getting traded there. I would say it would increase the odds of you getting funded as well, throw in a "defi" word in there and you got yourself over 10 million dollars on first day.

Have you try using TRON blockchain to create new token ? I think transactions are fast in TRON blockchain network.
Actually, Ethereum block confirmation time is not slow but the transaction gas fee nowadays is very high.

The best option right now is Tron they are still offering low transactions and faster confirmation and it's easy to create a token I think you need 1200 Tron to create a Token another good option is Waves not really very popular but cheap and the fee is very cheap

Most of the tokens are creating in Etherium blockchain, but due to high gas fees and slow transactions, developers are moving to other blockchains like EOS, TRON, XLM, CHAINLINK, etc. I suggest TRON blockchain is the best for token creation and speedy transaction and also very low fees, so you should try TRON blockchain.

Forget about all the other ones, just focus on either ethereum or binance and that is enough for you, never go for other ones because the additional features that they might bring it do not really worth the time and effort that would be required for what you are missing to  be handled.

In the ethereum version we are talking about using the most common one and they will definitely be able to find you and investors will trust you and basically all around it will be like many other coins but that is a good thing not to be weird and untrustworthy in this market, you will be capable of actually showing the process of how you made it. It cannot be denied that transacting using the Tron blockchain is very convenient, besides being fast it is also cheap when compared to the Ethereum Blockchain.

I can offer you to consider blockchain Waves... I'm not sure if it's the fastest, but I know for sure it's easy to make your token and it will be very cheap! They also have their DEX, where you can start to trade the released token...

Are you speaking about https://dex.wavesplatform.com ? This service is no longer available. I'm not sure if waves.exchange is a dex now, but as I see it has option to buy cryptocurrency via fiat money, I have deep doubts that it is still dex.

The rate at which Ethereum is increasing daily, owes The fact for me its the The fastest. So Ethereum is the one I'll advice you to go for. That crypto currency increases like a beast, go for it.

Ethereum is increasing true, but this is a blessing and a curse at the same time, since Ethereum is not scalable enough to handle this amount of tx, this is why the fees are so high right now. And if he wants a fast token, he will have to pay a ton of money to accomplish this.
