Title: [Scam] Mining-Vault fake team
Post by: notblox1 on August 27, 2020, 06:32:39 PM
What Happened: Fake mining-vault website that gives up to 300% returns after only 120 hours
What is ever more shady is their video with 'massive profits' in gold:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xe6LLrG8Ul0
As stompix said, their team is fake.

Definetly scam

Fake team members, pictures stolen from:

https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/10-poses-profesionales-para-la-foto-de-tu-perfil-en-linkedin-prado/
https://twostoryphoto.sydney/portfolio/#environmental-office-portrait

And they obviously copied a registration number and name from the open directory, if you look closer at the firm:
https://beta.companieshouse.gov.uk/company/08672704/officers

It lists different names for the directors than the website.

Thank you for confirming.
I was suspicious with fake team images but had not enough time today to make deeper search.

Is this a SCAM, what do you think?

Keep in mind that legitimate team and projects often tend to have similar photos and not personal ones. Why? It is simply because they are a team. Therefore, those random photos that seems to be taken by different photographers in different places do already tells us that it wasn't their actual photo but rather stolen, just like what stompix have said. (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5271822.msg55078524#msg55078524)

So the next time you've found a project that publicly tells us their team and their roles in their company, better see their photos' similarities. And if you haven't found one, then you can also use https://tineye.com to see if the photo is already in the vast internet.

Judging by its website's content and interface, it can already be seen as a scam as some of the fonts were overlapping with other elements. even the styling aren't consistent, especially their browser tab's logo was just default. Hence, it wasn't just a fake team, but rather a fake project as well.
