Have you checked their telegram ?

They are spreading fake news on their telegram about listing. I have checked all from my end and they are using their telegram to make investors fool. Their real intention is to move people's on their presale page.

Take a look here,

Uniswap is now the choice of scammers to continue to cheat in their token listings, maybe because the many tokens on Uniswap are an option for them?

Obviously if any DeFi project is suspicious, one should be aware that they will continue to do their part to start a lot of scams with a project they created under a new name.

Yeah, of course.  And I don't know how many DeFi projects are out there (it'd be nice to see some data on that if I knew where to look), but the scammers are obviously using the DeFi hype to lure their victims in, as OP alluded to--just like with ICOs when they were the hot new thing.

the project generated photos of team members using a neural network. Photos were generated on the site https://generated.photos/  (https://generated.photos/)
Not that I doubt you, but how do you know they used that website?  I didn't click on the Twitter link since I don't use them and don't want to contribute to their traffic, but has that been verified?

When there is a new trend in the market, scammers use it to try to scam ordinary crypto users. I have seen the bull market of 2017, and I have seen everything like how many scams have taken place at that time. Etherdelta was the most preferred place for scammers. At that time projects were listed on etherdelta without any verification and people were victims of scams. And now scammers are trying to scam using this DeFi trending.

This is indeed similar to what happened in 2017.

Back then it was the ICO's, now the buzzword is DeFi.

I am not even sure if DeFi itself is something reliable and I don't think I'll ever use it.

Since DeFi has created a lot of hype in the market it will now be an easy approach it is normal for scammers. Now a lot of new people will come in the market, most of whom will be thinking of making a quick profit. Because they are influenced by those who come to crypto, they just teach them how to profit. So there is a risk here. And I don't want to say too much about DeFi. But those who come to the market must pay attention to verifying every opportunity.

And still the word DeFi will be a weapon for scammers to continue to cheat on what they make, when the trend occurs scamer will appear everywhere, including this forum to promote in their threads but for newbies who are very ordinary, of course it will be difficult to recognize it. but scamer now has a lot of tricks in their chance not only to verify but create token hype in the market.

They do not have an announcement thread here obviously they are going to get tagged so they choose Twitter to announce their platform,  people should consider a project a suspect if they did not have an announcement thread here when Bitcoin should be the first place to announce their crowdsales.

I think all hype defi projects does not create or concern about putting up a forum announcement. Most of them only announced their presale or tokensale via twitter and telegram. Only few legit projects have come here and show themselves to the public. I noticed also that most of them are anonymous. I cant compared this to regular ICO cause the previous is a lot longer process. Now once a project hits hardcap, listing is efficient via uniswap. So no need to wait for so long for an exchange.

Just for sharing update. Defi Loans website is no longer accessible. Guess someone already report it to google. I still can't find this DLT issues in metamask forum, can someone share it in here?. I guess Defi's hype gathered scammers to take some advantages  :'(.
