As DeFi hype is increasing, we are seeing more and more of those. They were so much in a hurry that they couldn't even make some kind of whitepaper as they hope people will invest into just about anything with magic word "DeFi" in it. Even those LinkedIn profiles look kinda fake and I wouldn't be surprised if that;s the case.
@Torch-protocol tagged from my side, and will gladly support flag if raised. Good catch by the way! Secondly, in a strict sense, we only include a majority of features to the defipie, and there are many more features we are developing, including the lucky transfer mechanism and unsecured loan, which will be detailed in the whitepaper. Our team has stated that we are using the best technology on the market, Our technical team has reviewed their code and approved it Torch is not a open scam accusation, we collect the ETH by the smart conctract, you can check the code . you can submit your question in our Telegram,we would answer your question quickly. What do you have in mind when you say our project is an open scam without asking us any questions? Title: Re: [WARNING] Torch-network Plagiarized Website Contents Post by: TheUltraElite on August 30, 2020, 05:55:37 AM What do you have in mind when you say our project is an open scam without asking us any questions? Question is simple: why is your whitepaper a complete copy of another project's whitepaper? This is not a 5th grade science project where you ask your seniors to provide their laboratory files so you can copy and just change the names from them and get an easy A on the project. This is supposed to be a professionally competent project, as far as DeFi is concerned but I highly doubt that. Majority of the stuff posted in the accusations are true and you guys are such pieces of scum that you fool users and take their hard earned money. You deserve to have a red flag on your accounts so that people are warned of the same. If they were a legitimate project, they would hire a trustworthy bounty manager. Instead, they used a fake bitcointalk account that had been inactive for more than two years. This is nothing but a classic scam attempt with another fake 'DeFi' project. Flag supported. Title: Re: [WARNING] Torch-network Plagiarized Website Contents Post by: Raflesia on September 04, 2020, 06:30:24 PM What he wanted to say is that since they don't even have whitepaper released, it can't be plagiarized (if I understood him correctly). But I guess he doesn't count plagiarized website content as "real plagiarism" and he thinks that is somewhat less wrong, while it is quite opposite, as they were so lazy and incompetent that they couldn't eve write those few sentences by themselves. I understand that writing a whitepaper is not an easy thing to do, but imagine how clueless you have to be when you have to copy basic website content. I'm sure people will think of it anyway as plagiarism because their content is the same as other projects meaning there is no unique idea they make for the project if plagiarizing the basics of all websites can everyone just stick to it?Still I think that many projects of this kind will just copy from other projects to create new projects so that can all be said to be plagiarism to me. |
