Title: STEX platform is really a scam ? read what happened to me please ?
Post by: JohnT1950 on August 30, 2020, 07:51:09 PM
Hello people,

I just want to warn you about stex that they are a pile of swindlers, what happened to me prove 100% that they are a group of scammers,

Yesterday 29-08-2020 I decided to give stex a trial trade by 10000 Dogecoin
I deposited the coins and offered them to sell at price 29 sat per coin , time was 15:35 pm
The total offered dogecoin to be sold at that time ( including my Dogecoins) was nearly 1 800 000 Dogecoin
and today 30-08-2020 time 19:24 and according to Dogecoin sold coins record based on Trading history, there was more than 4 million sold Dogecoin at price 29 sat !
My simple question is : Why my coins are not sold ? it supposed to be that sell order was excuted since more than 10 hours, but that didn't happen ?
The other question : What are they doing with my coins ?
I sent a detailed E-mail to STEX support employee named kate by what happened and I faced her by evidence, she replied me with an E-mail teaching me how to trade with cryptos.....I replied her : I'm working in Cryptos trading since more than 5 years, so be careful ! and she didn't reply at all !
Again I sent them an E-mail calling them like this : Where are you scammers ? why no one of you is replying ?
And no answer !
People I'm warning you : I swear to you STEX are scammers , and if you want to repeat my trial to check go ahead and check by yourselves
I have warned you
Many thanks

How do you know there was 4 million of Dogecoin sold at 29 satoshi?

If you take it from candle you can be wrong because the volume in that candle can be for total Dogecoin sold at 28 to 29 satoshi a. Are you sure that all 4 million Dogecoin in that candle is at 29 satoshi only?

You can move your scam accusation to the Scam accusation (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=83.0)

yes, should not be here in bitcoin discussion board.

OP should give more details or snapshots regarding this particular doge situation so we know that this exchange really did have 4M dogecoin sold at 29sat and that his sell order was not included. maybe just another example of trade manipulation but why doge? usually, exchanges dont have wash trading when it comes to doge.

That's because of low trading volume in Stex, and most of them are bots. The real volume in trading is in ETH blockchain, people are using decentralize trading platforms nowadays.
You should try different exchange with higher liquidity such as coinbase or phemex or binance.

Excuse me, you should carefully read what I wrote : when I placed my order to sell my dogecoins at price 29 sat per coin , the total offer of whole dogecoins to be sold was nearly 1,8 million dogecoin ( including mine ).
When I checked the movement of Trading history ( in the bottom of their platform webpage ) between 29 and 30 August afternoon, I found that more than 4 million dogecoin were sold on price 29 sat and my order didn't excute ? how come that logically ? is it logically accepted by any term or condition ?
Unfortunately I didn't keep any screen shots for what happened, but I'm just warning people by this,  and who's not believing me let him do this little simple trial to discover the reality of what I'm telling

I assume you are using limit order sell? Probably that your order werent executed due to low volume. Or technically they are doing wash trading. Its a common way on some exchange. But Im not sure if they have a market orders cause if you used that instead, you can easily sell it. But thats only for dumping. If you want a good price then set it limit.

In your case Im not sure if this is true or something like what explained or possible reason that other mentioned.

Can you show us some screenshot? Ive used this exchange before and seems not to have any trouble with it.

Why isn't anyone talking about the ICO they did with "STE" coins that were supposed to share the trading fees with the early investors.  I bought some of these back in 2017 and it went to zero.  It looks like they rebranded from 50x exchange and moved to this new STEX exchange while keeping all the ICO investments with no value rendered.  Anyone else invested in this ICO?

If you think that the same team is working behind both project then you can share more information about previous and new one. We have seen so many cases like that where same ICO platforms owners were involved with multiple projects. In this kind of stages they launch the same project with different view to attract investors.

You can check their telegram channel (if available)  which may help you to know actually what they did or doing now.
