Title: RX580 vs GTX1660ti Mining question Post by: Inkdull on August 31, 2020, 08:28:56 AM Hi guys I'm trying to build a mining rig and I can't make a decision yet because Im confused on which card to choose, here is my suggestion, Rx580 8gb vs Gtx1660 Super or ti version, I'm trying to order these cards from AliExpress and I see that those rx580 are cheaper but the watts they draw are high, any one with experience of these cards? Which is better in power saving? Thank you

Here, I pay 0.19c USD Kwh, so it's essential for me to have a efficient card, 5700xt and 1660 super / TI are excelent options To summarize, if you have dirt cheap electricity, like 0.05c I'll probably choose the cheapest cards to buy more, and have more hashrate But if your electricity is not so cheap, I would buy 1660 TI and have a very efficient system, and easier to resell cards than polaris Title: Re: RX580 vs GTX1660ti Mining question Post by: PerfectCircle on August 31, 2020, 03:16:15 PM Gtx1660 super or ti version has the highest advantages
1. You can resell for better money later because gtx1660ti and super has the latest architecture 2. Gtx1660ti has better miners support and many Algorithms you can mine too 3. Title: Re: RX580 vs GTX1660ti Mining question Post by: Apostlekin$$$ on September 01, 2020, 03:41:51 PM GTX 1660 super and the ti brands are still costly, I can get RX series at the range of 60$ each on Alibaba website, though they are used but working perfectly ok, if you have no problem with used cards then go for RX amd cards, you can mine Raven coin and lower the power rate to consume less energy

The first thing to worry about is electricity, this will determine the best graphics card for you, if it's free electricity on your end then buy the cheapest graphic cards, mind you the gtx1660 ti are more electricity friendly |
