I am no financial advisor but however I believe this answer will age well. A few of them who look at this and actually put a few dollars o these projects may become millionaires.

Some of the projects that I believe will be top projects in 2021 are :
1. BTC : King needs no introduction, digital gold 2.0.

2. Ethereum : Finally Eth 2.0 will be here, we are already seeing the DeFi craze sweep the planet. Vitalik save our gas fees.

3. Polkadot : Polkadot Ecosystem will be the next big runner , potentially causing the next bull run.

4. The Graph : Indexing protocol, most of the popular projects use this. Mark my words, this will be a top 20 project.

5. Concordium : Dark horse of Crypto regulation and a hedge against regulation. Concordium is a blockchain having Identity verification and Regulatory framework by design. With 2020 being the year travel rule gets implemented. This one will be huge, bringing enterprises and banks into crypto through a public blockchain.

6. Tezos : We all know how this gonna run.

7. Near : Near Protocol has been having lots of developments and this one will bring value to the table. 

8. Skale : Scaling Ethereum, enough said.

9. Ripple : Ripple will keep having those scam pumps, XRP army will shill again.

10. Chainlink : We all know this Kek coin with mad fundamentals with perpetual pumpamentals.

11. SpaceChain : This one has huge partnerships, European Space Agency, NASA , and has already put satellites in space. Tim Draper low key shills this shit.

What are your picks? Which is the dark horse in your bags?

Man I haven't even heard of almost half of the coins you've mentioned. I only agree on the top two you've mentioned though, as while I'm definitely not saying that I disagree with the others, the #3-#10 spot is pretty much a gamble. Basically which projects would be allocating a huge amount of money on marketing and such.

It seems @OP has its list on his hand. But I have my own list too. And here it is:

4. Dash

I don't want to tell you about the other coins, which I think that coin can be the top cryptocurrencies because we have different coins that we hold.

But I think in the next bull run will surprise us because many coins will increase high to change the position of the coin at the market. And we might see unpredictable coins which can follow to grow too.

Bitcoin and Ethereum are my key players.
But I am still hunting some altcoins these days, I am trying to avoid DeFi coins these days coz I think I am already late for the party, lol.
As long as my bag is majority on Bitcoin and Ethereum, i'll be more safe, kinda scary to pick some low market cap altcoins, I am afraid on Bitcoin to dominate the market again.

Bro it is pretty obvious that BTC and ETH will always dominate the market every year.

BTC is a good asset for investment and it is tried and tested by many investors in any part of the world. As for an Altcoin, ETH is the most reliable cryptocurrency next to bitcoin, it is much more profitable than any other coin. But you are free to try other coins if you want to explore the viability of other coins in the market. You have to understand that each and every coins do have different worth and value depending on its community.

It will still be bitcoin on top, then the usual top 10 altcoins in the market. There will be no changes, some altcoin might switch places though, but that's it. I'm not expecting another coin, just developed to fully go and be on the top 10. If did, then obviously it will be just a pump and dump and it won't maintained that position for so long. So no sudden movement expect for the price.

Obviously, Btc and Eth period. Everything on your list except Link and XRP sounds new to me. That's either you're advertising them to make it pump or it does really have a good team behind it. Nevertheless, investing in alts majority in the cmc is like a gambling with 50-50 chances, some are even below it. High risk high rewards, to be on the safer side, fill your bag with Btc or Eth.
Post halving and bullish speculations will pump Btc, while DeFi will boost Eth. Infact, we've been seeing the DeFi hype as Eth made it as much as $480.

I heard there is digital gold and can be purchase from the e-payment platform.

Where that list coming from? I never heard most of the project on the list so I don't think they'll appear on the top list this year or even next year.

There's a lot of good projects nowadays, and most of them have the chance to be on the top list depends on your own perspective. I think it will be hard to predict this list since only ETH and BTC are irreplaceable on that position base on my personal analysis in the market and the rest will compete with each other until they make it and challenge the top of everything.

Surely, Bitcoin and Ethereum will be the most top cryptocurrencies in 2021. Those coins is like king and queen.
Then, with the trend of defi projects, it will also possible to pick defi tokens in the top cryptocurencies in the next year,imho.

There are tons of other coins out there that could make people a lot of money but people are afraid of telling people what to buy aside from the big ones and the ones they shill for. It is not wrong to shill for a coin because that means you like it, and there is nothing wrong with liking a coin. I would say that Idena is missing there, that is one of the coins that I probably shill even though I have zero of it, I just like it as the idea but I am personally not getting into it, it takes time and effort to actually be part of it and there is some money to be made there but I feel like I could use that time to find another way of making money quicker.

In the end I would say everyone has their own favorites and that is alright, we have to realize that is not a big problem at all and there is enough money to go around for all of us.

I agree with your list but I think ripple should be the third on that list.

Sorry, OP. But your pick of choice crypto coins were mostly unknown. I mean, never heard about polka dots coins. And it is not the only one coin who have some ecosystem platform.
 Also, i doubt chain link and tezos will also be going on top in 2021. There is no upgrade developments on those coins.

It’s actually we all know that the top cryptocurrencies of 2021 will be Bitcoin and Ethereum these are very good currencies when it comes to investing the price of other currencies continues to rise depending on Bitcoin. Bitcoin transactions are actually made through open source cryptographic protocols. No financial institution or bank is required for its transaction. As a result, there is no body in the world to control it the demand is high everyone can invest as they wish.

I only know about bitcoin, ethereum, tezos, ripple, chainlink, and don't know with the rest of the coins. But @OP have his coins list, and we see that we have different coins list. We will see which coin will be the top cryptocurrencies in 2021, and that will happen soon. I am sure that we can search for other coins that will be on our list to make a big profit later. I am select bitcoin, ethereum, bnb, trx, litecoin, so I hope that those coins can increase in the next bull run.

I believe a lot of us here are rooting for btc and eth. They are like the only cryptocurrencies you can trust of when all others fail. But if you are a crypto user who is closely following updates and developments of others alts, you will know which one is worth investing for. Not gonna believe all the FUD by other people here.

The hype of DeFi will die in Q3 2020 as the new year will give room for another crab to be hyped who knows maybe data or some other stuffs. Hype dies doesn't mean DeFi will stop existing though but just that the money currently flowing into that sector will move to some other sections and that'll be the new kids on the block. The likes of chainlink will be dropped out of the top 10. Bitcoin, ethereum and some other OG's like Ripple etc will still retain their spot.

I think some other stablecoins will join USDT since the volume of transaction are increasing by their numbers daily. The end point is anyone thinking some DeFi project will join the top coins as chainlink did should just give up that hopes.

Yuppp just like the ICO hype that didn't last for long enough , DeFi projects will only bring some institutions that really hate bitcoin to seek and catch those fake random projects , it'll be over in no time.

And looks like a lot of people mentioned LTC in their list ... hmmm interesting to put a hope in that one of oldest cryptocurrency, honestly i do believe in LTC too with other coins has pumped from 3x to 20x since the downfall in late 2018 , I've got the feeling that ltc will surpass ethereum in the second place of the highest market cap.
I just want to add NXT in my list , this coin also lagging ... 10x to 100x to the moon!

Bitcoin and ethereum are the only solid cryptocurrencies.The rest of the coins are just pump&dump anyway.
You may think that some altcoin has an interesting concept and will become a utility token which might get widely adopted in some industry,but that never happens.All the "utility token" BS is just a hook to get more buyers and investors in the early stages of the project and to build more hype.

Yes. Bitcoin and ethereum are my only top choices and the rest of those altcoins are not really seem profitable for me. And besides, it's more risky if you fill your bag with pump and dump altcoins and only to find out they only end up as dead coins in the long run. Better invest with bitcoin and ethereum since they made the best hit in the crypto market.

Im with this sentiment which is actually the real situation that do happen from time to time on when the hype dies then we would see another thing to be hyped and money will flow once again into that particular field.
Its just really that common that new one will actually place those older ones or had been already been zipped out by those people who do play big.Talking about on whose gonna be on the top then those currently on the list will most likely to retain their positions but we cant really conclude since anything can happen but its hard to believe on that there would be a certain project would held up for that long just because its been hyped up.Demand what matter most from time to time and as i agree for those DeFi supporters out there that shouldnt really hoping that much.

Apparently OP did not name a very important currency, and it is Monero, Monero is a currency that has a lot of survival, so much so that I think it is one of the strongest in the crypto world, its privacy and anonymity make it very valuable.

The main money is in the bitcoin, for all others the simple money of my pockets of my pants, anyone who reaches position two is fine ... the rest is always uncertainty.

Yeah, this is quite simple to predict, everyone is doing the same trick. Name bitcoin if you want because that is the big one, name ethereum because that is the king of altcoins, name one trustworthy known like eos, or neo or whatever and name one obscure one that nobody really cares but at least knows and name the coin you shill. That is the way it has always been, whenever a topic like this opens up people do the same thing, 5 coins, 3 very known and everyone loves and already invests probably, one obscure and not many people invest but at least everyone heard of it, and one coin that actually is new and I mean brand new and gets shilled by the people, typical shill post.

In any case, if you do not see the coin in the top 20 ranked list, be careful, if you see them at top 20 ranked, check out its history before you invest.

Concordium cryptocurrency, it’s quite a good one, but if it doesn’t have a use case as much as Bitcoin or Ethereum does , then it doesn’t make any sense. One thing I like about Bitcoin is that the number of people who are making use of it and the number of places where it’s being accepted are too many compared to other cryptocurrencies.

In my country if you’re holding any other cryptocurrency apart from Bitcoin , and sometimes Ethereum, then you’re wasting your time, no one is ready to buy or accept it from you. All they are interested in is Bitcoin mostly, and then Ethereum and they are not ready for any other one. Before the year 2021 you might see new projects that will take over the market just as DeFi projects are trending now.

Bitcoin is the most trusted cryptocurrency and Ethereum is the most trusted Altcoin.
Most of the crypto enthusiasts hold these 2 as they are most trusted and the rest are just temporary.
We have seen many altcoins changing their position from rank 3 to rank 10 but Bitcoin and Ethereum have held on to their since the beginning.
Also this is one of the reason why Bitcoin and Ethereum has a bigger support than any other cryptocurrency.

There will be many project that popping up in the future but I don't know that these project can survive in this place. Like has happened in the past, there are a lot of project ICO that successfully to be launched and have a high price as well. Many investor who got a huge profit but most investor as well who just got a huge lose after that.

This is why I never put much attention to new project (in this case DeFi's project) most of them only worth for short term investment. Unless, you bet your money in it and you have more comfortable to storing it for long term investment. So as, choosing bitcoin is the best way to me, I won't ever have uncomfortable situation when holding it although its price decrease a lot.

The rank project claim on CMC doesnt make it a good investment but it sad to see many crypto currency investors following/invest in project through it current surge in price or it rank on CMC for your information this coin was tagged in active on CMC.

Perhaps you're right but the last time I check XRP CEO hold about 70% of the coin each army or not the coin have so many partnerships which the coin CEO purposely manipulates the coin for him and their benefits. Mind you, this coin was created for the betterment of crypto communities.

The chance of making good profits out from your invested money is far greater when you hold this two coins, though
some crypto traders tends to risk out and try other cryptos trying to find some luck and make a huge money.


They've got a lots of supporters and they are being managed by big fat whales. This two coins continue to move forward and still dominating this business venue.
Just needed to keep  doing your own research and make sure to back up your decision with good sets of plans to make sure you'll be able to gained the compensations that you desired.

Focus on high ranking altcoins. At least in the top 20 CMC ranks which are more secure and with more serious development. However, there is still a risk when holding altcoins. Bitcoin and ethereum are still good choices.
although there are some DEFI coins that are starting to appear and the prices are really crazy and exceed Bitcoin like YFI. But YFI is a new DEFI coin which is still a hyipe for now, it is not impossible that a drastic decline will occur.

Stay focused and be vigilant so as not to enter into a new altcoin device that does not increase its price unnaturally at all.

Hype doesn't matter for 1 coin which is Bitcoin which will be the number 1 crypto in 2021.Then Ethereum will folow bitcoin.But DeFi trend will affect the ethereum.If DeFi trend continues then ethereum will perform better in 2021 even from 2020.Then YFI coin which is DeFi coin.If DeFi hype finish in last quarter of 2020 then YFI will not be in good position.Recently Polkadot has created a great hype but I think it will be outperformed by Ltc and Trx.And recently some new coin has entered in top 20 coin in Coinmarketcap.But I don't think they can keep the position till 2021.So I will believe in Xrp,Stellar and Neo coin.Hope they will perfom better in 2021.

Look, man.. You put together a quite long list of coins and this is your opinion and I respect it, but here is my perspective. I think Bitcoin is the king like you said and it will continue surging to new highs and attaining one of those crazy capitalizations. But all these other altcoins are ephemeral and mostly a gamble. I mean they might be interesting for some developers but unless they come up with something mind-blowing, they will be just pumped and dumped while the profits will pour into Bitcoin. :)

In shorter words, Bitcoin is for the big boys while the majority of altcoins are for the adrenaline junkies and gamblers.

Despite the fact that no altcoin can dethrone Bitcoin I still dont believe that the Defi market hype will end this year because alot of whales seems and most crypto opportunist investors havent get enough of the Defi market but people need to be more careful when get involve in Defi.
Meanwhile, the Polkadot, XRP etc listed by the OP are not qualify for coin that will make people millionaire as the OP believed.

Well, your opinion is your opinion. I don't intervene with you by that, --but if this you insisted that you want to believe you, never. Because I disagree with number 3. Polkadot? Even though on the top 10 I will not sure if that coin will reach on that line. But I agree on the number 1, bitcoin will remain as number 1 and the most powerful coin among of all. No one altcoins can surpass this bitcoin and replace the step, it is far away among others. However, we are on the hype of defi projects as of now, soon they will disappear like what ICO's happened last year.

Of the 11 coins mentioned in the opening post, I only agree that BTC, ETH, DOT, XTZ, XRP and LINK coins will be top crypto in 2021.
The rest, I am not sure that the coins will be profitable in 2021, so be more careful when choosing coins for investment. Choose those
that are truly potential, don't gamble by investing in some unpopular coins.

Bitcoin.

No one can beat out this coin but its not an assurance that it would hold forever though.We know that there would be always a better coin but it all matters with the demand.
We can have our own list on our preference but in the end the community would really be the one who drove those prices on where it would be heading.
Thing here is that we do know on how to utilize these movements.

There are lots of cryptocurrencies with a really good potential. ChainLink seems like it’s going to continue to be on a top list for a long time with the way it’s going. Just look at how far it has gone and in long time it has already gotten to the top ten cryptocurrencies.

So, I am very sure it’s going to be one of the best cryptocurrencies in 2021. Then as for Bitcoin, like you have said, it needs no introduction lol ;D. Bitcoin has already spread a bed on that number one position and it’s going to be sleeping there for good lol. Ethereum is the next good cryptocurrency in the market, and I was quite surprised last year when XRP was able to move into the second position, but I still knew that Ethereum will take that position and it later did.

I believe nothing would change, at least at the top 10 list. I know something called polkadot got inside the top 10 but believe me that will be gone as well. Remember IOTA? At one point it peaked around 4th, only things that was higher were bitcoin, ethereum and ripple, it was 4th biggest coin. Where is it right now? It is 26th biggest coin, even something that is called yearn.finance is higher than that and I never heard of it before.

So believe me, top 10 will be the regular old top 10, crypto.com won't be there, polkadot won't be there. It will be just current top 10 without those two and just something like eos or tron or whatever in there. Those coins worked really hard to be high and they deserve to be in top 10 as well so I think that is not really bad to guess.

These 2021 I think the top cryptocurrencies would be, Chainlink(LINK), Ethereum(ETH), Polkadot(DOT), Xem(NEM),
RSR, Binance(BNB), Band, BUSD, and HT. These are the altcoins that can push us to become rich someday if you hold
a lot them in the long term.

Other than the first two coins you have mentioned (bitcoin and ethereum), I haven't heard of any of the coins in the list. Kinda sounds like you are shilling for this coins and getting paid by the developers to promote these (shit?) coins. You just added bitcoin and ethereum to the top so that no one finds you suspicious (this is what most of the shill users do by the way). If you really think those coins you mentioned is going to be of some value, explain how instead of vaguely saying its the next bullrun.

Bitcoin will remain the best coin every turn of the year and for the following years and it will remain everyone's priority.
and the ones that will be the top coins in the next year besides Bitcoin in my opinion are Ethereum, XRP, LINK, POLKADOT, Litecoin and BNB.

It's better to invest coins that are proven still working  before up to now. They were able to survive after ATH in 2017 and still able to manage to have trading volume after that pump. BTC, ETH, Link and this long top altcoins were still good to invest with while the others especially those new DeFi projects should be watch all day if plans to trade with as it may not recover once it fall.

The only other crypto i've heard of aside from BTC and ethereum on this list is Ripple. It goes to show how oversaturated the crypto market is lmao.

 I do not say that your compilation of the probable top coins is wrong, it's just that quite a lot of altcoins these days are not stable and do not have bright future.
I'd say the only coins that are stable and safe to invest in are Bitcoin and Ethereum. They've been leading the markets for years now and will continue to do so. It is only advisable that one invests in these two coins as they are a sure means of making profits

Bitcoin and ETH are always in my heart, nothing that could ever replace this, in fact, those in your list are not even known to the market, and that it seems to be hopeless having those coins. Well, maybe they are not shitcoins but I haven't interest in them for the reason that they are not performing well, and not even have the name in the crypto market.

2021 could be an exciting year because it might the pandemic is over and this will give a huge impact on the market price. And the possibility is that we gonna be in Bullrun. And having these two coins BTC and ETH will give more assurance than having those unknown coins.

I think that LTC will be huge. Has a lot of room to grow.

Now there are a lot of tokens on the market that show a profit higher than ETH and  BTC. Therefore, we need to pay attention to new DeFi projects that have not yet increased in price. But I'm not sure that the hype around DeFi will be in 2021, so we need to consider them for short-term trading.

Agreed with Beerlover. This market is so volatile and so sensitive to information that nobody can predict what would be price in the future. So, it is better to have your own personal pick and investment strategy than to copy other traders

It make sense because this is a bitcoin forum, most of them only wants to hear bitcoin is the king even if you agree to it. Most are skeptical when you mention some tokens that are very unknown like we've only see it on this thread. But we all know we are all capable of using google to check it out.

But learning that unknown crypto are mostly scams hiding from criticism here in bitcointalk are mostly scams as well. They better start creating a thread otherwise they are  forever going to be unknown. And I mean who wil think that the list in this website https://marketcap.one/ are also cryptos?

Most people entering this market tend to choose safe coins and BTC, ETH are two very popular options. I think 2021 will be a very good year for these 2 coins to improve in price and may soon return to the old ATH level if market conditions get better.

However, until then you need to have faith and choose to hold for a long time because that is the only way to help you make a large profit.

   Better to say billions of Trons are locked for the genesis mining of Sun token. +7 billions locked and rising, it's just first week.
   It's a nice list, but why Polkadot is the number 3 on this list? Very young project, they yet need to prove they are worth the
attention. I see Polkadot on many places, and I have plans to invest, but somehow people have high opinion about the project
that is very young.

Time will tell how much the crypto market will rise but crypto is slowly rising a lot the reason for the increase in demand for crypto is the increase in the price of currencies. You are right that these currencies are very good in the crypto market but the most popular are BTC and Ethereum. I think 2021 is going to be the top cryptocurrency there are almost bull runs in the market. Prices are falling but rising again pumping a lot in 2021 if not later this year.

I think this topic belongs in speculation section more than it belongs here in trading. We can speculate about top 20 for the next year, about possible changes, which coin can overtake another coin or coins, what we can expect in terms of the price... all that is in the field of speculations, but trading is something else, at least in my opinion. Until the next year there's a lot of time, and there will be many more ups and downs. At the moment the most important question about crypto is to expect the prices to dip more or not? After recent drop bitcoin looks stable little over $10k, ethereum is making some decent rise of 4-5%, can we say this is a new bottom and to expect some bullish period in next few weeks? Or as I said we can expect some drop and bitcoin under $10k, and ethereum under $320? Other alts will follow the direction of these two as always.

We can't know what 2021 will be like from today, we can't even know what tomorrow will be like from today, not in crypto world that is too much to guess. I do have my own estimates and guesses but I can't share them, it is too dangerous, 2021 is just too long away. I get that people can talk about the "next thing" because usually that means you like a coin and that is fine but to tell a general understanding of a whole 2021 calendar year is too much to guess.

Plus there are sometimes hypes that people do not foresee, for example defi was a thing this year that people didn't predicted, could you predict stuff like that? No one can, so it doesn't make any sense to actually try to make a prediction. Obviously market will move together as always so whatever you pick as long as it is not a dead one, it will move give or take like the market.

Please would you explain how is going to run? I also consider getting it but the total supply is a little high and I don't understand how this coin can move.


Is doge still good for buy? Is the team working to upgrade its value?

Not really familiar with the coins below the two except for XRP of course but I still go with the two tops in the end.
Dunno if the other coins you mentioned will even strike the news or hit the mainstream because I got no idea what they are.
I'll just keep holding my BTCs in the end.

my dark horse is definitely Ethereum. There is nothing better than holding a coin top and watching its price increase every day. I took the risk and bought ETH at $ 99 by the end of February and now my account is almost x5 after 7 months of hold. The cryptocurrencies I am holding are not that great but I am confident that they could increase more in the next months or maybe the next years. Obviously, it starts with Bitcoin, Ethereum, Monero, Dogecoin, and other cryptos in between.

Are we talking about ranking? Do we need to guess what is the top 1? of course the bitcoin. This is the mother and the king of all cryptocurrency its run already for a long time and gives a good market income to the different investors and traders, is there any chance that this coin will go down? hmm. I don't think so because it conquers the whole coin for a long time even the top 5 other coins take a long time before beat the market price and the throne of the bitcoin.
I guess this upcoming 2021 will be a good shot to ethereum there are a lot of trader and investors see the potential of this coin, just my guess.
The market is volatile so we expect there are changes in the long term, bitcoin today is very stable into its market price, unlike the eth price movement.

The market could be pumped a lot by 2021 in the coming years it will depend on the investment and the market demand. It is much easier to make a profit in the long run you're right there is no currency to break Bitcoin but Ethereum is going to be a lot better. there is a lot of instability in the market now even though the prices of the currencies are going up and down they are going to give good performance.

I doubt that to be the case in regards to Ethereum"s prediction. There was no much DeFi effect on ethereum. It has its own catalyst although the DeFi hype added some volume but it'll be in the lowest form possible. Don't forget ethereum was picked to be the 'best performancing project for 2020' without DeFi been in the picture as a result of the ETH 2.0 speculated to launch this year. That only saw volume flowing into the ethereum project as investors bought in anticipation of the event.

The project would had still been a good investment even without DeFi coming into the picture. Looking at the recent incident that hit the market. The fall in ethereum wasn't that much reasons been that most traders took profit from their countless DeFi alts been traded and secured that profit in ethereum and bitcoin.

There are still high expectations for Ethereum as the hype towards Ethereum 2.0 hasn't slowed down. The success of the DeFi industry would only profit the Ethereum project more but that of a failure would not automatically means Ethereum will surfer.

it was considered a risk because as of then lots of speculations about eth going even below the $99, i remember a friend telling to wait and buy eth at $50 and btc at $2000 lol! he was very sure market will crash that much, but somehow the market was able to reverse and price went back up,
although i do not think buying eth is taking a risk because we already know eth is second top crypto in the space, investing on it shouldn't be that scary even though all investment should be treated with some level of caution, i think it was a brilliant move.

It is actually better to hold unknown potential coins than already established coins because the chances of a bearish market are high no doubt but the chances of a bull (positive) run are also high on such coins. These unknown coins can bloom just like how the yearn finance did recently and actually the growth of these coins is just humongous in short period of time. There are times when the growth of some coins is abysmal and you will have 80-90% of the coins like that every now and then you might end of investing in a potential coin and you will be rich in no time just like yearn finance like I mentioned investors did.

Established coins are good but the growth is never going to happen at the same rate or even close to some of these small unknown potential coins.

It is pretty obvious that the two will dominate the crypto market, not only in 2021 but in the long run.

Bitcoin is giving us some signs in the past few months, so i'm still here patiently waiting on what will happen on bitcoin as I make predictions.

The reason I said that "the cryptocurrencies I am holding are not that great" is because I am also investing in some cryptocurrencies I think would flourish in the next years. However why is the price not so much higher because of it? I can guess only one thing why that hasn't happened yet, there is no "official" date for it to happen, they are working on it and it will eventually happen without a doubt but we just don't know when that exact date will be, which is why we are not buying ETH like crazy right now, the moment team announces an official date and we believe that, the price will skyrocket.

Some of the coins you have mentioned are still new to me, maybe because I have not been active with searching for new coins to invest in. I only know if a few on this list: Bitcoin is the one I have been investing in for a very long time now, since I started and for sure it will be staying at its position as the number one.

Ethereum is another good choice and I am also hoping that the 2.0 will bring some good changes and as well cause the market to grow. Ripple is very difficult to go up because of the ample supply but the price is still going on but I don't think Ripple will be a significant investment because after observing a little bit of a rise when the bullrun comes.
Chainlink is the most popular coin because yesterday's bull run was getting higher and it made a lot of profit for investors.

The etheruem 2.0 is a big plus to the etheruem platform. Etheruem will likely be the highest profiting coin by 2021 even above bitcoin. Bitcoin has been a bit slow in move, so I think the etheruem can be a better gain by the time it gets a new launch.

If Ethereum 2.0 does not help out with higher gas fees that are being paid for the transactions of different tokens working on its smart contracts, I don't see Ethereum to be succeeding at any cost later but will only lose its worth. Btc will always be the one and only coin I want in my portfolio because it is at a level which does not seem to be broken up or down so quickly like we saw in the defi (yfi) crash. It is better to earn small percentages than trying to gain 300x and the next day, our portfolio's worth will not be worth 3% of our capital.

That's right, this is the problem that the most I have been noticed of Ethereum and I don't see if this will continue I guess, Ethereum will not survive if the fees will also have ATH, not on the price. Considering ethereum also dropped, and was over 400 dollars at one point, I feel like it is going to skyrocket when the phase 1 starts and we can stake it. There will be tons of people who will buy ethereum to have 32 eth and there will be tons of people who will try to get even more, like 320 or even 3200 ethereum to stake even more.

Looks like he got a good prediction about Polkadot. It is explosive and just reached the top 5. It was a very quick growth for Polkadot and never have believed that it will be one of the top altcoins in the market. But just as an opposite and par with the prediction, he got it wrong with XRP.

Yeah the defi period is getting stronger and stronger, because it is definitely a molded one and you can mold it to anything you want. The problem with ICO was the fact that it was just ICO and that's it, you had a project and with the project people either funded it or not funded it and when that was over it was just like any other regular coin there wasn't anything brand new about it.

However with DeFi projects that's not like that, you create something, and another defi comes up and puts something on top of that, and another one makes it even better and it goes on like that and all of that is called defi and you keep making money from it as project owner as well. Look at pancakeswap for example, they have made over 200k dollars just from the small 0.03 commission they take from the LP people, that is on top of the grands they have received from binance and others to just build it.

2020 was for defi projects, with uniswap leading the way. I believe Oracle protocol projects will be leading this year. Coin like Dia and other Oracle protocol projects may surprise us this 2021. Honestly, I'm kinda unfaithful with DOGE. It's certainly a meme coin and it's ranked 32. Without Elon musk making a fuss dogecoin won't get hyped. Also, people buying it off the hype won't hold the price for long.
If a coin need the drive from hype just to get pumped a little I doubt it's ever gonna make top 4 let alone top crypto. The place better be reserved for other promising and technology advanced coins. which further make blockchain efficient, by that we can make the whole crypto community pleased.

Those are not bad splits, I would hold ethereum more than the other two, but thats about as good as it gets when you are diversifying your portfolio in the crypto world. Everyone has their own mind and everyone invests a bit differently, there are so many people who invested into things that shouldn't worth anything, but those people still found themselves a project they want to invest in and that is what matters, because in crypto world everyone is free to do whatever they want and not what others want.

The problem with bitcoin and ethereum is the fact that many newcomers see how much those coins raised and they end up trying to find ones that didn't raised that much or could have a bigger return in the future. Of course that is not a smart move and of course that is a move that will lose them money, but I also understand where they are coming from.

You live in the fiat world, heard of crypto but never really took interest to it, and you end up checking it out because you hear that it went from 10k just few months ago to 40k now, and you want to see what happened. You get in, check things out and you want to make x4 return as well, but bitcoin already did a x4 and it is unlikely that it will do another x4 again so soon, so you start to take a look at smaller and smaller things for that kind of return. You end up investing into something that is shady and lose all your money instead of investing into more certain smaller profit.

Ethereum seems to be unfazed with the markets drastic price changes and is slowly going up! Given also the fact that ETH 2.0 hasn't been fully unleashed yet, we could see more uptrend as its hype will continue to grow for casual crypto traders.

I think Doge has a fairly stable price value, especially now that the Elon Musk icon for Doge can be an attraction for new investors to invest some of their funds in DOGE, but indeed for medium-term investment I think there will be less potential for Doge to achieve ATH is new in 2021.

I am more interested in trying to invest in Cardano, because every day the volume of transactions on Cardano continues to increase and it is not impossible that Cardano will have unexpected things in 2021.

Must of the coins you just listed above are very nice coin which you will definitely make profit in the next nearest future, but before you invest in any coin make sure you do your own research first don't just buy any coin without doing research but I will personally ask you to invest in bitcoin, Ethereum, LTC, link and lot's more.

Btc is 80% of my portfolio and it will continue playing its role of King of crypto empire though it may go though correction in first quarter of 2021.I am afraid it may go below 20K before it goes Bullish again. Ethereum will also maintain its 2nd position on coinmarketcap. Polkadot is my third choice and i have very high expectation from it in 2021. My 4th choice is ADA and I believe it will break its all time record of $1.33 by March, 2021 when its mainnet will be launched and soon it will challenge 5th position of XRP on coinmarketcap.

Some really decent names I hear in this topic and some where I don't agree but that might be just my own perspective. Polkadot is one of the biggest projects I am looking forward because they are building the platform that connects projects so I really love that concept and still learning about it and still find something new everyday.

XRP is one of the coins that I personally feel is losing its grip over the market with coinbase if I am not wrong already delisting them and kraken has already announced it. I believe the project owners might have no option but to concede and the coin is finding it hard to breathe in the market where so many amazing projects are coming up daily.

Dogecoin got pumped recently and I never expected it to reach1 cent but it did and still is close to that value, although I haven't checked the price recently. Dogecoins are mostly used for faster transactions and at least that is how I used them earlier like for gambling and transferring coins faster but now that Tron and other coins are available which are even faster and even cheaper than dogecoin, I don't know what purpose dogecoin serves in the market anymore.
