Cryptocurrency is a high risk form of investment. In fact some had made high losses based on the stories of some users here who were selling their house and taking huge loans and lost it all investing in cryptocurrency. I do not really know if they were true about on things they told but pretty sure there were losses made here with other users investing in cryptocurrency especially in ICO projects. On the contrary there are some users posts inspire others to invest due to the high return that they had made in cryptocurrency investments.

Bitcoin is the leading crypto that had made the success of others in their investment. This is why I wanted to join in this kind of investment. I have tried invested small amount and made a lesser returns as profits but that was already enough to make a conclusion on how to earn with bitcoin. Bitcoin investment could be the reason for losses or gains. It will depend on how you do the investments.

As a newbie in bitcoin investment for I was actually a bounty hunter taking opportunity to earn from the rewards that consider as payment. The problem is that bounty hunting is not that really earning and it is just a waste if time and money except doing signature campaign that pays btc. While doing signature bounty campaign, it triggers me the interest or plan to invest in bitcoin. I have somehow evolve my perspective to bounty hunting to bounty hunting at the same time doing bitcoin investment.

The signature bounty I joined will help me to always keep in touch with the forum for bitcoin news and current events. Others are saying that bitcoin is going for a bull run and that will let me of course earn but the current market price now which is 12K$ is a bit higher. This is why I am itching to buy in bitcoin however I am also thinking of probable losses due to current market price which is high for the moment.

This is the reason why I made this post to see your replies that could help me decide. Again I had stated above that I know bitcoin has high risk and willing to take it. The questions is that "Is it still best time to invest now with the current market price? Or will wait for bitcoin market to crash? What do you think?

Nobody knows the future. No one can guarantee that bitcoin won't or will crash in the next few days. You're the only one responsible for your decision. IMO learn more about it, find the fundamentals and value, whether bitcoin is gonna useful for the future or not, and decide from there. Ony spend the money you can afford to lose while investing, don't risk your lifesaving in it.

It depends if you plan on hodling Bitcoin for a longer time with the hope of achieving a predefined target profit in which case you will take greater risks if BTC's price moves unexpectedly below your acquisition price for a longer period of time in which instance you might want to liquidate and take your loss or hodl it on until its price rebounded at your target selling price.

But I think buying at the current market price would be ideal also if you plan on day trading,hoping to have small profits with BTC's daily volatility but as always, just remember, investing has its inherent risk. Imho.

Most people will wait for the price of BTC to go dip down again and start buying Bitcoin. But as of today, the price is still not moving at $11,000+ there is a high chance for this price to increase in the upcoming months if anything goes well. The only problem is, this is a high price and when it's not gonna rise as most people has speculated, whoever invests in the current market price will suffer a huge loss because no one really knows whenever the price will back again such as this one.

As for my own suggestion and idea, it is too bad to join the hype/whale of the Bitcoin now and buy it at its current price point. More importantly, there are no actual guarantee if it will reach the 13KUSD ceiling price this month or even at the end of the year. As what most would say, it depends on you whether you would hold it for years or wait for it to reach 20KUSD price point again or not. But if you would to take suggestions, better wait for another 8KUSD bitcoin price (which seems to be much possible than going up).

It will depend on how long you wanna hold those bitcoin that you will buy during these kind of bitcoin market. The thing is if you are planning to hold it for a long time, years or decades, this will be a good time to invest into bitcoin. However, if you want to be involved with bitcoin a short term investment then it is surely not the best time for you to buy bitcoin.
You can wait until it reach 4digits USD again then, that should do.

If possible put a mark where you will buy an X amount of bitcoin, this will help you make a decision as prices will fluctuate and your target might not show up for long. Try to save an emergency fund and do not abandon all your other cashflow. Having an emergency fund helps in you down times, learn more about bitcoin.

I think if you are a big investor you can invest here anytime. Problem is maximum here for short time invest high dividends. But actually crypto investment is not like that as this market is very much fluctuating. Here you have to invest for long term plan so that if market dump any time you can wait. Only think onetime how market pump from 4k$ to 12k$ so when market come dump and you sell all your holdings by upset you will be loser.

So be a good investor keeping patience in mind at any time. you will be succeed.

It will depend on how long are you planning to hold your money. This will be a great time if you are holding for a long time and the money you would use is just extra cash, I hope it will go up in a few months. There are a lot of opinion here I hope you would not be drowned. I suggest to watch technical analysis about the future from legit sources, you would learn a lot on how some traders do it. There's a lot in youtube. You can decide for yourselves if you would believe their analysis or not.

If you are still not sure, and kind of scared to lose that much because you are trying to hold on for not too long, then its probably safe for you to wait for it go down. Just don't use the money you are using for the investment.

I think you should always seize the opportunity and if you can't see one, then make one! Therefore, I think you being hopeful that the price might drop in the future and that's when you're going to invest is not the best strategy.

At least in my opinion, as this often tends to lead to more procrastination and more reasons why now is not a good time to enter the market.

Remember, this is all about taking risk ad if you are risk-averse than you're not standing a good chance at making healthy profits.

There’s always a chance for noobs to make money in crypto. The fiat currencies around the world are losing purchasing power over time & it’s going to get even worse with constant money printing. It’s never too late to but bitcoin, now is better than in a years time.

We’ve only just recently had the block reward halving too & it’s not taken effect on the price fully yet. If you buy now it’s likely you’ll at the very least double your investment by the end of 2021.

aside from those precautions, there is really no right or wrong time to buy btc. as long as you are practicing the simple rule of trading - buy low, sell high, youre good to go. what it means is that as long as you are selling your btc higher than what you bought, few dollars or hundred dollars or thousand dollars higher, as long as you are on the gaining side, youre doing it right!
 so for me, there is no right or wrong entry in btc, as long as you know when to exit..

I mean Bitcoin has yet to be in it's best figure, If you're aware of the circulating speculations in crypto space today, they are eyeing a $100k in 2021. That might have a chance to happen as speculations can influence market sentiments.
Take it for example those who bought Bitcoin at $1,000 while Btc was still $1,100, we never thought Btc could reach $20k in a span of 1 year. If you buy today at $11,000 who knows Btc will be $100k the next day. Though it's better to buy at a lower entry point, but we also don't know  If Btc will have another dip. It's better to at least secure fragments while Btc are still considered affordable.

there is a chance of bitcoin price taking another dive if it happens that the stock market crashes in October or so. Other than that I see btc only going up. if I were you I would pour in 50% of what I want to invest in btc right now and the other 50% I would distribute over a 6 months buy 1/6 every month (Dollar-Cost-Averaging DCA).

If looking from the past few month’s bitcoin has hold its prices and even after reaching 12k levels it had fallen till 11200 and again from their started to bounced back. The major huddle for me it seems to be 12k and if it can cross and get stable above that level, we can see it rising much further. So, one can wait for 12k levels or if convinced it will rise then good time to buy.

Based on my experience for almost 3 years in this industry, I would say yes. However, the outcome will vary on how long you will plan to hold. If you planning to buy right now and then sell at a single amount of time then there's a high chance you will only facing a loss. But if you will buy and take your time until your invested money earns 2-3x or more then that will I call a perfect investment.

No, I am not but wanted to invest in bitcoin as this is the new trend of investment scheme. It is somehow like having an income if being lucky with lesser effort to make. Anyway, I am not trying to be lazy here in fact even in the pandemic I am doing sidelines that could earn extra income that even includes bounty hunting.

Investment in bitcoin is the best investment among other forms of investment I like and wanted to get involve. This is why I am itching to invest in bitcoin but still get confused. I have read some replies and it all talk the same answers which really depend on the one who invested. But I have time constraint in this investment and it is not that long to hold like 2-5 years. Probably I can go for a year and after that I will going to proceed with my next project and this will be a way to support it.

You cannot predict the future so you need to trust what your gut are telling you.. If you think bitcoin can still growing then i honestly will buy it if i confident it will still can be pumping if not i will just wait for bitcoin to crash back. We all dont know what will happen. Just time can tell us.

It all depends if you're looking for a long-term investment, or magic money to be made overnight. In the long term, most people think Bitcoin is still undervalued. But if you're trying to become a millionaire quickly, it might disappoint you.

For sure if your waiting for the best time or right time to invest in the market it's now today. at 11k$-12k, $ is not a good investment price, it would be much better if you wait for the market price to dump in the market. For me, the ideal market price to invest is 5k$ or lower to easily make a profit in just a small amount of time. If you think about the market price or volatility of bitcoin you might still earn a profit at 12k$ price point thinking that the market price of bitcoin is still going to pump soon.

Still, it would still be a higher profit when you invest when the market price is dumped instead when the at right point, for long term investment it still might not be worth it considering the time needed in order to reach a profitable price. If you are already getting a payout in bitcoin like for example in a signature campaign here in the forum, just invest it and don't spend it even when the market price is at a high price.

What makes you think that the market will crash, and if it will crash how low will it go! If you are able to have this answers then maybe you can wait for the market to crash before investing otherwise I don't see why not, going by the predictions made about btc price it is very possible the price will go even higher in near future, so you can wait or buy now.

I must agree, if you are a holder then you can't lose when you don't sell with negative gains. The only time investors and traders lose is when they sell, that might be the biggest enemy of being an investor and trader not just with bitcoin but with every coin in the market. If you want to make money with bitcoin these days, I must suggests you the leverage trading with bitcoin where you don't really trade bitcoin instead you're trading a contract. Binance or Bitmex is great platform for these OP.

It is all time given that the market is moving sideways every time, this is why holding will never let anyone lose especially with bitcoin. But this does not mean that you can just inject anytime of the day, try to study first the data for a week or month so you can have the lowest price possible for a maximize profit.

It depends on what your investment timeframe is. How long do you want to be invested in it? If it's just for a quick buck then maybe a price above 12k may be too high and you should wait for a decent pullback to around 11k. But that being said, there's no good or bad time to invest in bitcoin. A pretty safe way to go about it would be to stay invested for a few years at least.

Because of the volatilities there's nothing we can do but to anticipate and analyze things according to our own perceptions,

It's been a question in the past already, a lot of newbies been asking this since the time they saw Bitcoin rise up and break a new ATH. The lesson I can take when investing in Bitcoin is never to delay buying Bitcoin. Because based on my experience, sometimes waiting
for the Bitcoin price to crash takes a long time. It could also be that the Bitcoin price goes up and makes us FOMO in the end makes us

The best time to buy is when the price decline. So therefore its much wiser if you wait a bit until the price crash (well for holders who already bought btc we are not hoping for it to happen).

However it depends on your strategy when you buy. If you're planning to hold for long period then the price is not necessary to be in dip since we are not certain for the future price, it can go higher than the value you buy it. But if you will trade it for short term then the best time is to buy when the price is in dip.

Well the last great opportunity was during the pandemic scare, when the price goes on a massive -50% pulling the price to $3000. And think about it, if you have invested that time then you are almost 4x already. But what if the price goes on to six digits in the future? so you can still make like 10x, right?

In my opinion, it is not the right time to invest in Bitcoin because it can go down very deep and you will lose money. It happened to me before. Take a look at the Bitcoin chart in the last few years to see what I am talking about.

Buying bitcoin at dips at any price benefits me big, I don't really recommend this but if you are willing to take the risk of buying at dips even if the price is high you can profit from it fast.

It might be but I will not trade because trading is too risky and I am not in good market price prediction. As we all know that bitcoin market is volatile and it is unpredictable. I might consider buying parts of bitcoin now but probably I can make a target if it will reach to that point then I can sell right away. Still, I am hesitant to do it and might be  able to just wait for the next bitcoin market crash if it will going to happen.

There is actually no definite time to decide which is the best when buying bitcoin because it is so unpredictable. But the best way to do is to buy at a certain price and sell it way higher, meaning, it isn't wrong for us to buy even if we think that the market price is already high, why? that is somehow the reason for bitcoin to be bullish and break huge resistance levels. You have probably made the mistake to buy exactly in a hype phase. From a hype the price can always fall down very low. Indeed, the past has often shown that several times. These 2 are important especially the risk tolerance. Most of the investors right now doesn't know how to manage their risk. If you can't see Bitcoin falling and you panic easily as  you see its price going down, use small amount only and vice versa.

Back to your intention, if you just fine and now the risk when you store money in bitcoin then go it. There is now the best way and to invest, bitcoin price is so volatile as you can see last day bitcoin price was increasing and touch the strong support but now it is price just decreasing don't know where the price will go.

But you may need to choose long term and short term investment. By doing choosing them you may need to knos some theory, like if you will choose short term investment then you have to buy bitcoin at the lower price so you will get profit in the short term. Unless you will choose long term investment like one year or more then I think don't need to find the low price because if you believe with some speculation/prediction out there, they will be many people who believe that bitcoin will have a high price like 100k and more.

Bitcoin isn't just about "investing" and bitcoin is inherently NOT an investment. Now like many other currencies, such as literally every fiat currency currently are all means of investing, so it's important to note that while they've become an investment, first and foremost bitcoin is a digital payment system. 

There is often many test you can run on stocks where you can see if they are good buys or not, bitcoin doesn't have that same type of set up.  Bitcoin is a volatile asset and I certainly think we will see bitcoin fall again, likely well under 10,000, but I also see it's future upside as massive so I think buying in now is not a bad idea at all. I could easily see it shoot up to ATHs again before long.

I would say as long as you change your perspective of the regular economy, you are already ahead of billions of people and you do not even need to invest to get ahead. It's not always wise to invest in the cryptocurrencies at any time possible, I guess we have to wait for the dumps or the dips and then invest in these coins. You make a good point but good coins usually make new ATH sooner or later even when they are overbought in the current market and this is the reason why good knowledge in coin selection and investment is needed because what need is to switch the invested coin for long term market rather than panic sell. There's no certainty if the market could continue to rise. One thing that makes you help decide is to study the market since we do not know when it will rise. Right now, it looks like it is going to a place where it would be great to buy. I would say wait for a while and see where it goes, it could go down a lot and when it goes down a lot I am sure that it will do a lot better for you. I would say buying under $9k would be the way to go, it is not going to be over $10-11k levels very quickly, it is going to be doing very bad and very slow for a while but after that buying under $9k means whenever it reaches to $11k level you will profit around 20% levels, even more, closer to 30% levels and that is what it matters, depending on where you buy.

I would say put a big huge buy order at around $8k levels, if it reaches to $8k you buy it and wait, I know it will take months and a long time, maybe who knows 7-10 months but it will one day be $12k again, which means $4k profit if you are patient enough.

For me, maybe what most important is did we already to take the risk to buy in any price, with that i think whatever price is not a problem for an investor. As long they can maintain their investment and make analysis about it. Of course take risk not means we buy it in any price when it is already high, but we use analysis to do it and then we will be ok. With current macroeconomic perspective in the whole world, my view is that crypto currencies might gain popularity and with it, increase in price. But, nobody can guarantee that in few years these currencies will still be on the market.

The market depend on human emotion, and mostly fear so thinking about long term make us relief. It is not a fair situation if you are taking into account last years price as the market was recovering from a major correction and now the halving is over and it is time to invest but you need to identify the right opportunity. I am sure if there is a correction from this situation many will be jumping in to invest and so is the reason we are not seeing any major slump after the halving because when ever we expect a correction we could see huge buy orders coming in.

Heres the rough trend in a small pic with daily bars.  If it can break and beat this trend it likely does rise well after that or if it should prove to be the top prices for now then you are better served delaying till later.   Thats my rough view, blue line is 50 day average and some might argue to buy when this is ascending.

Price in long term will rise and we have seen in the past as well that fall may happen but bitcoin has a ability to rise back and it may take some time but eventually we will see the bull run happening an those who stay invested in it will make money from it rather than doing panic selling which may not be correct at many occasions. There are tons of people who asked the same question to themselves 5 years ago when the price moved from 200 dollars to 1400 dollars and everyone said "do not invest now that it is high" and they waited, did it fall down? Manipulation of the BTC market does not happen now I am quite sure because the market is so saturated and large that a single whale has lost it's ability to swing the market on their own. Also each time a whale manipulates the market they sell a big part of bitcoins which means that the market becomes more and more fluent and liquid because the lesser whales we have the lesser chances are there for anyone to change the market at their will. Maybe in small crypto pairs this is still going on as someone can occupy a large number of coins and then easily play around to start a bull and bear run at will but surely not in bitcoins in current situation.

I always think any time to buy bitcoins is a good idea but only if you have the patience to wait at least 6 months because if you panic too early then you might end up in loss as some investors liquidated their holdings in March and we all know that drop in price was caused because people used the cryptocurrency as a source of liquidity for their livings.

We tip toe through a mine field still imo, I dont think its clear.   What I'd expect from breaking a negative trend is a fairly noticeable appreciation, a large green candle on most charts.   We dont have that because we are still in tangle of indecision.

So this is 4hr bars, just short term and we're through a trend, below weekly average but above the monthly momentum.   I dont count this negatively especially until its closing the 4hr bar and maintaining back below that trend.   Even then we are drifting around the 10500 pricing, crossing back and forth in no mans land.   Maybe Im too cautious to go out on a limb here but I dont feel price action is bullish for the moment.   All of this is below 50 day average is the simplest clear view.

Most of the time when the market doesn't break resistance for 2 weeks it's usually going to break the support. Weekly chart actually tells the opposite of bullish and I think its this chart that traders should be looking at every time beffore diving into the daily chart. The RSI should be a good indicator to look at which I guess we are going to dive to $9k again. Probably so but this is just mine assumption. I don't know what others will think of it.

Bitcoin can not go back to $1 again, the worst we can see had come in March, $3900. If traders didnt use the advantage it could be over for a long time. Any price below previous ATH  ($19500)is still a good buy. We should be conversant with history and cycle to decide when to take some decision in this space. The present price maybe high and may not give the size of profit from previous purchase but I am sure no investment may give that kind of return in the 18 months if you invest in cryptocurrency.

Personally, I think that it's always ok to invest in bitcoin if it's price is 20% far from it's an all-time high. I think that way because to my mind bitcoin will always reach and surpass it's all-time high. In any way, it's always hard to decide best time to invest in bitcoin cause it's a thing that changes price very often and there are moments when you think: oh, this coin falls so much, I think it will still continue fall and I'll invest later or this coin can't get back to high price for a long time and it may be an end. 1$ is a impossible to happen because this has been the currency used of many people for more than 10 years now and even invested by popular people in the world.

This is a good idea but money you saved from bounties and other free sources will never give you the same confidence as investing your own money will because you will take better decisions when your actual and own money is involved and when you are holding only free earned coins that you sold and captured bitcoins you might be easily temped to sell when price drops.

I love bitcoins as much as you do but aiming 100k is a bit too much because the price has been rather stable in recent times and there is really no reason to think that the price will reach 100k anytime soon and while it may actually touch 100k in maybe coming 5 years but really investing with such high hopes is a terrible idea in my opinion, be realistic with your approach and goals.

I believe 10-20% is a big change for trader because from what I have seen traders feel pretty good with even a 2-3% change in price because the price of bitcoins is high and even a 2% change means hundreds of dollars change which is enough for a trader to earn their profits. I always invest a small amount in bitcoin, and I do it gradually when I have extra cash and I do it when the bitcoin price goes up a little and then falls back down and that's where I make my purchase.

As a trader since a long time what I do now is to buy when a drop occurs and sell when a spike happens so I don't trade in the literal sense but this is kind of a trade too although I always save some coins and those small amounts of saved coins (which have accumulated to be a respected amount now) will be sold if ever BTC reaches crazy values.

When we go down back to $1 then theres something wrong happen with BTC or simply theres already a coin which is more better than it.
Investing on bitcoin in the current market price isnt a bad idea as long you do go for long term aspect but if in short term one then its better
to focus on buying the coin for the lowest price as possible but if you dont mind then theres no certain time for you to purchase it up.
Invest while you can since we do able to see on what Bitcoin is capable of.It might not be an assurance that it will really happen back into the
future but at least we do have the hope that it would be able to reach those levels or even more.Lots had already hoped but always remember
that always invest on the amount that you can afford to lose.

Investing low and gradually as you put it is better for profit but the problem is knowing when it is low and that is difficult. When you look at the price at $11300, how to know it is low or high. You can enter with the hope of low now but maybe it is time to drop down  ;D

One of the golden investment rules is "Never invest more than you can afford to loose". No one can predict if the price goes up or down.

for me anytime is the best time to buy Bitcoin, especially at its current price.  Bitcoin has already taken the whole world by surprise by going to the moon to $ 20k.  as the sage said; "the future is a mystery", I believe what they say..

right, everything comes back to each person, if you can't afford to lose then don't try because the future price of Bitcoin is difficult to predict..

Theres far better things to invest in.
