Title: [Help] If I made a Bitcoin ring, what would you like in the design?
Post by: Husires on September 06, 2020, 06:27:37 PM
I am planning to make these rings for a personal occasion but I can custom-make a few or start a small activity.
What would you like in the design?
The idea in my mind is as follows:

The Bitcoin logo will be divided into two parts with the back of the public address.
I was trying to print bitcoin inflation diagram, but the result was baaad, so what are the ideas that can be prepared?
Powell engraving the letters on the sides.
I will try to print the private key, but I could not find a suitable place.

Hello,

How are you? Hope you are doing well. You have so many questions which made me do some brainstorming to help you out. First of all, I want to congratulate you for taking this initiative which shows the love for bitcoin and this forum. To answer your first question, I like everything about your design. Adding a public address is a great idea. Please do not feel bad while trying to print bitcoin inflation diagram. One of the solution I think you can increase the width of the ring if possible. Another hurdle you are facing is to add private key in addition to public key. I think you can compress your other design and leave space for your private and public keys.

Let me know what you think?

Best Regards, Rainbowsky.

Hola,

for instance, I would be interested in some cool looking ring, that would however not have the BTC logo on it, but some BTC motto or graphic that only true bitcoiners know...Especially for the sake of security...I think if you walk every day with gold/silver ring with BTC logo on it...you will sooner or later attract criminals, my opinion...Maybe depends on where you live...but would love some cool ring with for example "Vires in numeris" or something like that...

I wish you a good luck with your project!!  :) If the final design/product will be nice, will be def interested in buying one

Best regards

Kpax

How about having 2 factors or even 3 factors authentications on the ring.

Hey Bud - I got  nice solution for you. You were complaining about not having enough space for private and public keys. Just do the following you will be fine.

1. Create 2 similar rings with the same serial number.
2. Engrave public key on one of the of the same 2 rings that has same serial number. You do not need hologram because you will be wearing it if  you want to.
3. Engrave private key on the other one of the same 2 rings that has same serial number. Also cover the private key with hologram so that it will not be easily visible in case you want to show it your lover.
4. Do the same process on all other serial numbers.
5. To make it more interesting you can configure 2 factor authentication.
6. I highly recommended you only make 21 of this kind if you want them to be very special and collectible. If not, make as many as you want.
7. Add some bitcoin related artwork and statements around the ring.
8. load .005 btc on each set.
9. Add certificate of authenticity. Almost most products do not offer certificate of authenticity. So this will add value.
10. Add version number on the ring.
11. Assign Genesis block BTC address if possible.
12. Offer these 2 rings as a set.

Did I solve your problem?

If you follow my recommendation, please offer some rings for community with good price.

Best regards, Rainbowsky
