Post by: Peanutswar on September 07, 2020, 09:35:06 AM
Bitcoin are one of the most common giveaway on YouTube also you can see a lot of report/thread about this but how about the altcoins?

Now I'm just lurking around and saw this live which is the coin included on this topic is the Ripple (XRP).

This kind of scam will talk about they can double or triple your investment   by just sending funds on the specific address.

You can report the youtube channel too.

I cannot believe how these scammers are even surviving till now. I mean atleast mainstream media platforms like youtube should have active moderation and surveilance team to keep a check on such scammers and such fake giveaways and scams should be stopped as soon as posted.

And the sad part is Google being such a giants in the industry is not able to stop this kind of scam giveaways. About a month back I heard a crypto celebrity finally sued youtube for keeping this type of video on their site.
Many newbies are still falling for this kind of giveaways.

We can't deny that the video is likely convincing specially the channel of the one who post it there's no doubt that many newbies will fall for this kind of scam but for us who already know this kind of scheme what we can do is to guide the newbies and report the video. I already reported the video by the way.

Why a lot of people are watching it? The channel is obviously new but it already has thousands of subscribers. Why would they still believe that someone is willing to double their money? This trick is very common already on YouTube, I hope they become more strict about this since they are a big platform will millions of users.

Btw, I already reported it. I hope YouTube would take it down, also their channel because it won't do any good to everyone.

I also think so, now there are so many Giveaways programs created by scammers who want to find new victims in crypto, so don't easily believe in Giveaways programs created by new people because it could plunge you into a pit of regret.

One of the user here already put this xrp giveaway as a part of the crypto scam so by default this is nothing new. Many of this fraudsters used bitcoin and ethereum to do their bad work but now that a lot of people understand what is their aim, they are just trying to come up with another concept to defraud people and XRP has been their target coin

Moreover, there were a lot of bizarre cases of banning real educational/news crypto accounts.
Meanwhile sh*t like this is happening here and there, streams with fake coinbase ceo and etc.

This is a big question WHY? even a lot of people knew that this was a form of scams still many of them became a victim by this type of deceiving people. And that's because it showed only that a lot of people nowadays still or the majority are greedy they want easy or instant money, so in the end, they've lost all of their investment.

They can survive of course, with a lot of money being stolen by them in the past. This is just a try out basket for them. I can sense that they would not stop and they know that there are some beginners that will always fall on their evil plan. Now that the market is on sideways, there will be more of these kind of scams coming.

Scammers will choose everything that they can as long as it's convertible to cash.

This is a big question WHY? even a lot of people knew that this was a form of scams still many of them became a victim by this type of deceiving people.
Not everyone is aware of this scam. Most of the victims are newbies and greedy people that think crypto is easy earning like this. But after sending, they are waiting for nothing and just sent their money to the scammer freely.
