Title: Is there a list of HP / IBM (Lenovo) Power Supplies that people use for mining?
Post by: DaveF on September 09, 2020, 11:46:41 AM
I have to start cleaning out some things over the next few weeks. Was wondering if there is a list of server PS that people still use / need for mining.
With all the big SHA miners going with integrated supplies and me just using what is sitting around when I need one I don't know what is still wanted anymore.

And if possible what they are worth. Before I drag a really heavy box to discover, yes people want them and are totally willing to pay almost $2 for it......

Thanks,
Dave

if you have this mobo

https://www.ebay.com/itm/biostar-TB250-BTC-D-Pro-Motherboard-Mining/124217882169?

it uses hp servers like this

https://www.ebay.com/itm/HP-Platinum-94-1200-Watt-GPU-Mining-Power-Supply-Chain-Sync-Rig-PSU-110-240V/233659173178?

so there is a demand for the 1200 watt one with the blue c13/c13 connector as the blue connector is the plat psu.

I have 3 of those mobos. and gpu mining is heated up just a bit.

that seller sells a lot of plus for mining check his prices to find a list or make a list.

My self I am using the apw3+ plus for my mobos.

My units can be noisy the apw3+ is noisy
the hp 1200 plat using under 500 watts is quiet.
