Title: is faa.st a scam?
Post by: patinencomun on September 11, 2020, 02:18:46 PM
Hi to all,

https://faa.st/ is showing as "make transactions directly from your wallet", making a search "faa.st review" I can find https://bitcoinexchangeguide.com/faast/ and has two scam alert comments.

Any of you know anything about this application?
Thank you

Why would you trust an application/website/wallet that already had a scam alert and warning in some reviews? Well then if the reviews are mainly positive, then you must ask other opinions if we should trust it as positive reviews online are mostly fake and paid. So If I were to try it, I'd rather not with those reviews.

Even the review link you've indicated also had this warning below the article:

[Alert] Use the author's self-conducted information at your own risk, do you own research, never invest more than you are willing to lose.

BTW, this should be in Reputation board (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=129.0) as this tackles about one's reputation (obviously). Better move this topic, which you can find on the bottom-left corner of the thread.

It's possible that the two users you're referring to got their funds back after contacting the support, and simply didn't update their comments. I haven't tried them but AFAIK, they're owned by Bitaccess which is a legit (Bitcoin ATMs) company.

If you're afraid to use them, and still want to use an instant exchange (without the "trade from your wallet" feature) then take a look here[3].
