Or you could look around like in telegram or maybe in the Altcoin Announcement section for new projects and then you can try to be one of the first miners. But you always need to remember that probably 9 out of those 10 newly launched project will never make it to an exchange and your mined coins are worth 0 then. ETH = I think this "masternode" phase still in "discussion". But there's defi project that you can farm using ETH. LTC masternode? Well, i never heard about this. They give 1:1 for every XEM you hold.
