One sad day when all my friends get UNI alone I don't get it because I choose a centralized exchange to reduce transaction costs. >:( >:( >:( >:( >:(

I use both centralized and uniswap, just because uniswap is much more convinient sometimes.  And before DeFi craze, fee's on uniswap weren't at all higher than on exchanges

Tough luck OP. I heard about uniswap today for the first time so... ;D slowly getting back into all this new crypto crazyness after 2 years absence.

I remember i traded with my wallet at uniswap like 3 to 4 months ago but when i connected the wallet today on uniswap to claim airdrop uni tokens it says that my wallet is not eligible.
So what exactly is the criteria i thought it was for all wallets that traded on uniswap before 2 september but that does not seem to be the case. Anyone has more info please share here.

Don't be sad because I also didn't get 400 UNI tokens, and some of my other friends got 400 UNI tokens, and some of them also didn't have enough gas to sell the UNI tokens to uniswap, it was very pity too when they used to be actively trading at Uniswap but did not have enough gas when the UNI token was given.

For a bounty hunter like me, 400UNI ~ $ 1200 is big. Maybe I have to work for many months to make it. I have heard of Uni swap and I have tried trading on it a few times but the transaction cost is very high and requires waiting. I have canceled my transactions. It's sad to hear such news today.

I also try to figure out the criteria because same like you I am confused.

Seems like addresses created within one wallet are not eligible, only one will get the 400UNI and I used all of them. I have metamask where I created 2 additional addresses and only one was eligible to claim, despite I used all of them many times to buy and sell on Uniswap and the volumes were a lot higher than 1ETH on each because I heard such opinions that minimum 1ETH volume has to be done but couldn't confirm this anywhere.

In total, I get 3 times 400UNI, despite I have used 6 different ETH addresses on Uniswap frequently.

Don't check if you can claim 400UNI, only by putting your ETH address into the search bar!!!

Always log in using this ETH wallet address to Uniswap because it showed me "not eligible" by every wallet I used, but after login, I saw claim 400UNI button 3 times!!!

3 accounts are too big, it's like winning the lottery. Liquidity pool participants also have a much greater volume of rewards.

Sorry to hear that. But only those whove uses uniswap to trade are eligible for claiming the 400 uni tokens. I also claimed it, as Ive always using uniswap. This is one of the best airdrop or should I say distribution method to uniswap users. Indeed it is really a good money for those who claimed now, you dont need to blame yourself cause thats the criteria and it seems fair since uniswap users feeding a huge fee and somehow this is the good way to show their concern to those paying huge fee.

If you get 400 uni then congrats that cant be earned in bounty that is not worth it. So lucky those who received it.

Dude, the bonus condition is that you have to initiate the transaction before September 1st. Tronix launches its platform after September 1st so if you trade on Uniswap you will still not receive the reward.

This airdrop is really confusing, so the people who bought tokens on uniswap before 2 sep will get it or even who sold will also get it?
Also how to log in to uniswap i mean do we have to connect our wallet via metamask or something else is also needs to be done?

You must first go to the site https://app.uniswap.org/#/swap After that you will need to connect your Metamask wallet. And in the right corner of the menu, select "Claim UNI". After that, you must enter the address from which you traded on Uniswap before September 1 and request 400 UNI.

I have followed all these steps,
I have traded on uniswap before 2 sep few times.
But when i click claim UNI and put my Eth address if says it is not eligible.
They should have posted clearly about eligibility criteria as some wallets are getting it and some dont.
Maybe it is only for people staking in liquidity pools because wallets with simple transactions like me are not getting UNI.

The people who traderld I think before September 1 are all qualified for the 400 airdrop. You can login via metamask and trust wallet, connect it and you are good to go, you just need to pay gas fee that is high anyway its worth it cause the tokens worth that much. I only had one wallet, if only I knew of this then the I used a lot of wallets.

If you are into cryptocurrency you will surely get more opportunities like this in the future. Don't be sad I also did not get any free tokens in this airdrop. Those who got congratulation to them.

I have 1 account on uniswap for a very long time, I liked everything, but today I caught a bit of fomo, as there were thoughts that there would be an airdrop, but I thought that the drop would be for liquidity providers.

I am in the same boat. They should be clearer with criteria. I have used uniswap to join pool few times before September and when I click on claim it shows address is not eligible. I lost lot of money on gas while trading and joining pool which never recovered so I was hoping this would help but no.

I am not sure what the criteria is but there are people who are holding thousands of uni tokens so price is definitely not going to stay where it is for too long. sorry for your loss.

Probably the biggest airdrop of the year from the DEX exchange. The people who benefit from the airdrop are undoubtedly those who have traded for a long time, facing expensive transaction costs. Of course, they are so highly profitable that they are willing to trade on such a platform. Those who join the liquidity group benefit the most.

We may not get the reward but don't give up, there will be good bonus campaigns and we will get them.

To be honest, claiming those tokens alone this past hours has not been easy, an attempt of 10 transaction were failed and the sad part is, you get debited on your Ether for every failed transaction. There is high network congestion as everyone tried to claim their uni.
Don't be susprised that this will end as Win airdrop to TRX holder last year. The value is now $2 and some cent the last time I check.

I usually don't worry about things like that because you can't bring it back. What I do is to move on as quick as possible. There are still many opportunity that we can get favoured. We expect better days.

Condolences, there are a lot of people who don't receive 400UNI here. Most of us do not choose to trade on Uniswap because of high transaction costs and the listed projects are high risk.
I have seen pumps and dump games at uni swap, although they have a good way to combat this by adding a liquidity pool.
The recipients of the UNI are in luck but compared to the risk of loss on the uni swap seem impervious. Examples are sushiswap, kimchi, hotdog ...

Noticed today that the exchange now has a token (governance token?) 
Did the exchange airdrop the token to loyal traders or what? That would be a nice way to decentralized the token assuming it was done right. Just wish they'd reduce the distraction cause by prices so that people can actually focus on governance

How is the 400 UNI quantity determined? Does it matter how many times you used Uniswap before Sep 1? Or how much gas fee you spend on Uniswap before Sep 1?

actually there are conditions put forward by Uniswap to get their airdrop tokens, but they don't tell it, making this a kind of surprise for traders who have traded there before September 1, so they give it specifically to members who have transacted on their platform
at least it requires a condition but the prize given is very large worth 1k $ / person.

I only used Uniswap once glad that I’m part of lucky 12,000 addresses. Before no one cares about Uniswap until Defi explode, now Uniswap is a big deal in the market they finally make it and way to be recognised. As far as I know you only need 1 transaction to get the prize (regardless of whether your transaction is successful or not because if it fails your fee has been consumed)and also from my friend said he spent 0.2ETH to get the gift and had exchanged it on the exchange.
at least it's worth it considering the gifts given are also big.

Great appreciation to the community for enhancing the reputation of the decentralized exchange on top of a central exchange. True, it is rare for a central exchange to give awards like Uniswap or even none at all. Anyone does not need to cry just because they do not get a 400 UNI claim, never. Because as long as you try, the future will get more than that.

too bad buddy but I am in the same boat I have many friends that also receive uni tokens. Its not totally  free since you need to liquidate to that exchange before you can receive the tokens today .other  people recieve more than 400 for supporting that exchange for long time  and trade many times. Its normal to us as human to choose what they think for us easy to use and affordable and nothing is wrong it that we just don't know that their token will be value like that.

Its not yet too late you can still participate for the next round distribution of that tokens but I don't know if the value will be the same after this.

Too good to be true but yes I got about $1500 now since UNI is now worth $3.77. I didn't sold it yet but since I have been using 3ETH address for UNISWAP transaction, I guess I am qualified to make more than that amount. Quite a profit actually for avoiding the KYC of exchanges. However, UNISWAP itself didn't listed their own token. Shame on them. I'll wait til they list it on thier own pool.

I ddn't see it the first time I checked it. The price whoever had dropped a bit. But it still a good price for airdropped tokens. The transaction fee is just so much these days. I'm gonna try it this time. Wish to see the price of ETH go up after weeks.

I also received my tokens today, but I was worn out with commissions. I spent almost 50 dollars on this.
Perhaps it makes sense to try using other similar services if they decide to repeat the Uniswap path.

There are plenty of other opportunities out there. Just because you didn't get one opportunity, doesn't mean you wont make up for it later.

for example, Binance is currently offering excellent APR for its savings products because of its WING and BELLA airdrops. I made like $200 out of nowhere from these, on top of my usual interest rate.

Just make sure you keep an eye on the latest promotions, most CEXs run them from time to time—and Binance in particular.

Damn! I was very unhappy to hear it, am not a fan of dex exchange so I never use the uniswap even for once, but to have such an airdrop would have been the best give I receive this 2020 with so many hardship, such opportunity will never come again,  and I always miss out on such things.

I think its fair to do so just like any other DEX who airdropped the DEFi tkens they promote.  NEWDEX users does have the chance to earn DEFIBOX Token when the users are staking the NDX tokens. I think many DEX today are going to be dong this way so start using DEX because most of them are going to this route. :)

I'm also skeptical about this huge amount paid by Uniswap for each airdrop participant which could be a total of 1 trillion dollars paid to all participants and I hope this is not their way of spending away from the LID protocol Ethereum fund paid by the  Defi project which launches there initial offering/sales through their exchange.

A non fair system from my opinion only everyone got the same huge token no matter how much they are trade, my friend trade by buying only 10$ trade and got 400 UNI because trade before 1 September 2020. A small trade got the same reward with a huge trade, IDK how they calculate or determined how many UNI can everyone get but to be honest they should using how many volume trade each trader has been trade on UNISWAP.

That UNI airdrop yesterday was absolutely an extremely pleasant surprise, I am only bummed out that I did not use more ETH accounts on Uniswap prior to September when the cut-off date was, but still, I managed to secure 800 UNI, so I am still more than satisfied with my haul of free money.

You can look at it as payment for people who spent their funds on uniswap fees.
If you made a lot of transactions last year you maybe saved even more than $1200 on fees.

Yes, 400 UNI can be requested for each wallet that participated in trading on Uniswap. I have met such lucky people who received 400 UNI for dozens of their wallets.

literally yes but read somewhere, an user tried to claim UNI airdrop for his 6 ETH addresses but claimed only for 3 of it,still a huge amount though.

I never used any of these swaps even though I used to like DEXs, sorry to say that ERC20 tokens are not my thing in the first place.

  the reason why uniswap dont post the airdrop on public is maybe because they are afraid that it will be abuse by non uniswap users and if you can see they also post a rule that the one can only avail of the airdrop is the users that is registered before on this xx.xx.xxx date , as they qouted .

uniswap really be phenomenal at this year, first as dex exchanges it have huge trading amount. second , it make many complaining about ethereu fee and the last thing was uni airdrop that give us more than $1000 without doing anything,uniswap will always remember as phenomenal in cryptourrency market.

Maybe we are in the same boat, but has a different story, I was once invited by my friend to trade at Uniswap, but i never did, after my friend got 400 Uni for free, I was very sorry and upset with myself for not following my friend's invitation. The move that they have done is a statement where they didn't state any words but numbers. Talking about DeFi hype, it is no doubt that Uniswap is the leading exchange that you've got, people making and losing millions out of shitcoin, man this is a game of who is the smartest and fastest.

I don't use uniswap, I don't like DeFi overly hype projects, I just feel I don't need one and barely sees the future the 90% of DeFi projects leading in the next months, no substantial reason to buy the coin, they are just stealing whitepapers and ideas. I also missed the uni airdrop. It kinda bugs me becaues i was close to using uni a few times in the last weeks but always hesitated because of the high trading fees.
So yeah because of that i missed out of free 3200 $ now that uni is trading at more than 8$.
But i try not to think about it for too long that wouldn't be good for my health.  :)

If you have not yet sold their tokens, do not rush to do so. The price of one token has already risen to 7 bucks. Those who yesterday sold the tokens received 1000-1500 for 400 tokens. Today, you can already get more than 20 hundreds.

Don't be sad . I missed that uniswap airdrop too.It hurts me too but we have to move on,remembering this will give us sorrows only.My suggetion is Just wait for the next opportunity ..

this is the thing that I regret the most this year...
I was also late to get an airdrop from UNI, even though the conditions were very easy, that was only had to swap on UNISWAP. I did not think the value of the reward that was distributed was very high = 400 UNI [$ 1200]. lucky for those who get UNI.

Very unexpected. If the distribution is just base on how much $tokens we have tried trading on Uniswap,  there could be more people receiving hundreds to thousands of UNI but they equally give out fair amount.


The value actually doubled, price now is more than $6. When I was about to sell my UNI, some people in the telegram said, I should just buy more. I didn't listen. I didn't but more of it which I could have gotten more UNI after it. 

not only you experience things like this me, too, I can only see those who get 400 UNI if sold they will get big money a sense of disappointment will surely be there for me but need not dissolve keep enthusiastic about working or making money in crypto maybe sustenance is not at the event UNI
but there is in another event

Today UNI has reached a new price point. You and I are in the same situation as not being able to receive the airdrop.
A lot of money, but if the luck doesn't smile, we will find another way. Opportunity always exists, thank you for sharing your sadness with me.
