Actually the risk is will be shouldered by the OP since it can be reused again by the seller even if they use an escrow there's no guarantee that the seller deleted the files or private key. I don't see any risks of selling such a wallet for the seller. All risks from such a transaction are borne by the buyer. But the seller should also be careful if the buyer demands to transfer part of the cryptocurrency as proof of ownership to such a wallet. In any case, I think this deal is questionable.
