Title: Any suggestion in investment in Defi coins/tokens
Post by: NIKUBHI on September 19, 2020, 02:56:46 AM
Nowadays the Defi project is growing very fastly and many of the coins/tokens are successfully trading and many big investors are getting into it. So, I want some suggestions in investment in Defi coins/tokens and which Defi project should I can invest in, as a short time to get a good gain.

Honestly, I can't give any advice since DEFI projects are exaggerated and we have no idea when they will go down in price.
If you want to make short-term investments then you should find a way to participate in the ICO and sell them at a price that you find good.
Investing in large DEFI projects will help you with low returns, but they are safe.

Better to be cautious when choosing a defi to invest with. To many projects are being out and some of them are running away after getting the funds. So better to watch out which project you are going to in. Why not used established defi and earn from lending and many use cases such as yield farming.

I think you should go look into Earnbet for a lot of reason. Firstly they are bringing a lot of innovation into their gaming platform, they've gone DeFi for some time, already listed in uniswap, got working product and now looking at remodeling their tokenomics structure which should improve the price in the long term. You should absolutely check it out.

To gain profit in short time? You're not going to invest, but it's trading.

Talking about how DeFi token is crazy pump and dump scheme, you need to read this story [1] it's not easy to gain profit as you thought. Seems you didn't know much about DeFi, it's better if you avoid any token related to DeFi and choose coin/token that you know or understand.

If you want to invest in Defi tokens for now, then look at the Defi tokens that are already in some popular exchanges or exchanges, because if the investment is for the new Defi token, I myself still have doubts about its future development even though for now the trend Defi has increased sharply.

All I can say is that in order for you to gain good profits, you have to take a big risk, in the thousands of dollars. This is what I'm observing from the outside, but a word of caution as well, there are a lot of projects using Defi's name and mostly are going to pull an exit scam. I wouldn't recommend, but you should always DYOR. Probably you can start with coinmarkecap and see which Defi is doing good or have so-so performance and then decide if you're willing to take that big leap.

Most of the good projects doesn't give you fast money, also fast money comes with risks usually, if I were you I choosed big cap coins so that they move slowly, yeah the percentages is slow but at least I know they won't rug me or turn scam!

If I'll suggest you, it's going to be Link and Uniswap.

https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/chainlink/
https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/uniswap/

These two are the common and hottest projects that we ever had in the market lately. There are other defi projects too but these two are what's getting the spotlight. Mostly, everyone is on Uniswap.

Uniswap is really hot today due to the huge airdrop recently. Just make sure to make your own research before investing or joining any DeFi projects. DeFi projects are hyped nowadays and some are going to take advantage of it. Some DeFi projects already did their exit scam, some might be really earning because of the hype but take note that the risk will also be high because of this hype. DYOR

If you have the capital to invest and like investing in DeFi tokens, then choose DeFi tokens that already have trading volume on the market, don't choose DeFi tokens that don't have a market yet because that will be very risky for you, even though DeFi tokens already have trading volume is also risky, but the risk can still be minimized by trading rather than choosing one that has no volume at all.

I would step on the sideline when it comes to most DeFi projects for now as the market seems to be undecided in which direction we will go. It seems that the initial craze around DeFi has subsided a bit as well, so those projects that made crazy returns in the past months could see even deeper consolidation, or not and they will break the short term bearish trend and do another run to the moon. But you cannot miss with already established DeFi tokens as Aave and Synthetics, or even new juggernauts like UNI.

you can get legit defi projects through this site icodrops.com and I ofter used it to pick the legit defi like serum, oin, and many more. You can also try to join in the top7ico and this telegram channel was also publishing legit defi that backed by big investors and institution.
So many successful projects have already started from there and I could say if the list that created by both sources have more than 80% chance or even 90% to be successful projects. DYOR is a must

Defi projects would something to lead for a bullish market, Bitcoin didn't and so they are.
But there is one thing it appears into my mind and that is manipulation. I'm afraid of this bearish season had come to its ends shortly and creates huge losses in many investors. No, I can't imagine the tragic ends of altcoins season last 2017 and leave crypto enthusiasts suffering losses. It might different for today but could be possible that it happens again, history repeats itself (I hope it won't).

Do you know that the UNI token was distributed for free yesterday, then think about it. I am sure UNI is a potential token to invest in futures, just look at the significant increase in price movements, it indicates that large investors are there and also likely to continue to rise, that's my opinion.

But for many other DeFi coins you just have to do your research first which ones to invest in with a profit in the short term, DeFi always provides great benefits if you find the right coin.

DeFi is really becoming a great hype these days as more number of projects are coming up lately.

I was reading a DeFi related article on coinmarketcap today which mentioned that DeFi has a great potential and if is implemented in healthcare then that might attain a trillion dollar market.

DeFi and healthcare: A trillion-dollar opportunity for the taking (http://"https://cointelegraph.com/news/defi-and-healthcare-a-trillion-dollar-opportunity-for-the-taking")

Though I agree that DeFi has become a trend and does seem to have a potential, there are teams who are using the DeFi hype and creating unwanted DeFi projects.
There have come many DeFi projects which don't even seem genuine so I would advice to do a through research before investing in any DeFi related project.

DEFI project is not new and have been since 2018. There are quality projects that have been their for long. projects like MAKER DAO, synthetic, Band protocol,to name but a few. you can invest in these project. Before you invest in the current Defi project, you are advised to Do your diligent research properly to avoid investing in scam project and make sure not to invest with all your money.

DIa price already corrected now , and we have to becarefull with this token although already listing in big exchange because bounty token will distributed in few weeks again . as we know usually price will dumped first before bounce.
Be careful, especially with tokens whose development has not been that long, even though the DIA token has succeeded in being in a good exchange, but if there is a sudden price drop, not all of the bounty participants are doing it, because those who have these tokens are not completely bounty participants only, but some investors also have this token.
I think that is a risk factor that is likely to happen to all coins and all projects including DIA tokens, so if you are afraid to participate in DIA tokens I don't think you need to buy them and just need to watch, because in truth trading will always meet with risks like that.

Considering that some of the Defi projects turns out as an exit scam, it is difficult to suggest any good and profitable project to invest. Since some of it is just alluring investors with unbelievable offers, so I'm afraid they will end up the same way and waste your time and money. What I can recommend is doing an investigation about the project, its primary objective, and its purpose. Analyze its difference from any Defi project and look for information about the team behind it. If you are in doubt, then take all of the time you need to review and analyze all of your gathered information to make sure you are not missing any details.

Yes, and even though the DeFi project has been around since 2018, Defi didn't have a good trend at that time even though there were several successful projects through the system, in contrast to the current DeFi trend which has increased so sharply that everyone in crypto knows it right away. well, apart from some DeFi projects that are scam at the moment because of the scammers who took the opportunity.

The lesson from the ICO bubble in 2017, when everyone talking and all of them want to find a project to buy and invest, it's time to get out. Defi is hyping now, and I see everywhere people find the projects to investing or farming. My opinion is careful in this time.

Before investing in DeFi projects, you need to read and understand them yourself. When you do this, you will already understand what is good and what is bad and will not ask the question " where to invest?". You will ask a question like "there is a project 1 and project 2, please advise which one is better".

Defi projects here and there makes it difficult for anyone to adequately offer any advice on the one to invest in because it can turn out to be a scam or pump and dump project. The thing is, most Defi projects coming up nowadays are questionable and hence there is a very big need to be extremely careful. Be it as it may, if you come across any Defi projects, study it properly to find out what makes it different from others, that will serve as a guide to help you with your investment chances; also bear in mind that most of them have nothing but hype.

yeah this is just a hype you should be the one who need to know how to manage your money and do not just follow others just because you think you can earn profit with it. Like what other early investors earn . Just my opinion its too risky to follow the hype of any project so you should be careful for choosing where to invest its your money you are the one who will lost once you failed to choose the right one.

"Get a good gain in a short time", I think everyone wants to know the answer to this question. You can try to get into DeFiner - this is a project from DAOMaker, previous projects that were launched with them in partnership gave a good profit, there is a lottery, registration will end tomorrow.

Only new coins could return you the highest profits on your short term investment. In coinmarketcap, there are already so many DeFi projects on the moon. Actually I would prefer to you definance projects. You can invest in top DeFi from the CMC list, from listed would prefer DIA but do your best research.

dont follow somebody else's suggestion regarding buying a specific defi token. because more then likely, he is holding the same token. a lot of these defis are only for short term profits as most of them will die down eventually. if you will dig more about their foundation, theres nothing in it. empty promises, anonymous team, raising funds thru uniswap, what other warning signals do you want?
so yeah, just do your own homework and not rely on anyone else here. you are risking your own money, so be responsible about it.

It was very enticing to see and invest Defi projects this time but of course, we don't need to rush as it could be the reason for our regrets. We should be choosing it wisely and just choose those project/s that has a real market volume, not just choosing because it was promoted by known personality. We always remember that not all of them would likely be profitable, just only a few of them and that we need to have a thorough research before then.

For me the whole industry is so overbought, now it is time to take profits and wait for the next Bitcoin´s move. Of course, it all depends on the stock market, but Bitcoin needs to remain its value or we come back to the bear market and all of these DeFi coins will go to hell because all of these coins are a thousand percentup.  ::)

I would say the hype is too much right now and it would be very scary to actually do any investments to defi at the moment. Not saying they are not going higher, obviously there will be some that will go higher however that doesn't mean that you should do it, because we do not know which one will be the one that goes up.

If you invest into defi right now, you may get rich because it may go up, or you may get poor because it will go down and not become anything at all. Obviously over time we are going to actually see which one will go up and which one will turn out to be scam but if you do it now without knowing you are shooting dart in the dark and you are trying to hope for the best and you hit the right one and not the wrong one. I can't suggest any defi to anyone right now.

I think the DeFi bubble is still popping... it has at least a couple of weeks/months to go before falling completely back down to earth. There's just nothing behind it. Do you know anybody who actually uses DeFi products for that they are actually supposed to be used for? I don't. Nobody is using it to "decentralize their finances." They are simply looking for high-risk, "get rich quick" investments that will inevitably leave more people poorer than richer. IMO its a terrible time to consider any type of DeFi investment (well, it will always be a terrible time).

Oh, also, to get an idea of what I'm talking about, just check the charts of any of these DeFi projects:

https://coinmarketcap.com/defi/

Especially something like Aave, looks like its headed right into the ground.

pop and then fall to to the earth ? so its not just a bubble but its also a rocket or a spaceship hehehe  .

There's just nothing behind it.
theres behind on them and thats the people or the team that created them , they backed it up  but only the legit projects are literally backed by technology or something else .

Quote

maybe small percent of investors but most of the people are up to the profits alone . they use it for trading . not just to defi but these people treat the other cryptos the same .

It's caused by the hype of DIA has already gone and people have already started to cashing out their money from the DIA market and the first batch of bounty has already distributed by the team and that's a huge amount that enough to create a small correction in the DIA market too.

The next batch will be distributed next month but it's not wrong to try to catch this token when the dump will come after the bounty will be distributed by the team.
Whole of cryptos have been facing very big correction.

...So, I want some suggestions in investment in Defi coins/tokens and which Defi project should I can invest in, as a short time to get a good gain.

After completing the correction of bitcoin, you can make a purchase of any DeFi project, from among those that previously showed steady growth. And if the price of BTC increases, these tokens will give a good profit, which may be greater than those who invested in bitcoin.

He can buy any defi token right now as many defi tokens have down following bitcoin price. But he needs to find out what defi tokens he can buy because not all defi tokens can increase higher after this bloody market. If he can't analyze what the defi token to buy, he will not make that profit, but he will lose his money, and I am not sure how long he needs to wait until the defi token price increase again.

I still prefer to buy and hold bitcoin and some altcoin such as ethereum, bnb coin because I think those coins will have more chance to increase back after this time. All of the coins at the market have the unknown time to grow, so we must be careful to select the coins, whether its a defi token or altcoin, or even bitcoin.

Avoid DeFi projects. That is what I will suggest to you.

The hype is causing many investors to lose their money and this will continue until the investors will not realize that they are investing in a wrong project. Investing in DeFi projects right now is like gambling already. You don't know which are legit or not. I will not give or suggest any DeFi tokens to invest with since I'm avoiding investing into it nor researching about it. I will just wait for the DeFi coins that will survive and will invest on them. In that way, my money will be safer.

As suggestion  i recommend you to hold or earn SUSHI or UNI because once ETH announce a date for the 2.0 release there will be FOMO to buy ETH because of the staking and this will push the price of DEFI tokens, even BTC.
this is not financial advice, there are many risks involved so better do your own research

Yes, but I think the UNI token from the Uniswap exchange is only an additional option for now, because with the increase in users on the Uniswap exchange, the UNI token has also increased in terms of price so it would be great if everyone chose UNI tokens for current investments.

With the growing demand and importance of Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies, we can expect 2021 to be a year where we see larger adoption. Moreover, with the rise in DeFi and online casinos, crypto transactions are bound to grow simultaneously.

~snip~

The coins listed by you are indeed more resistant to price changes, but they can not give a high profit compared to DeFi tokens. Of course, not every DeFi will return to the same price, but we can't not use this chance to get a high profit either.

If you want to make a profit from DeFi, you can try with that, but I suggest you trade DeFi token for shortly because the DeFi is almost the same as ICO and IEO, which will soon end. Although I don't know when it will end, we can prepare to leave the market while we can.

I admitted that using DeFi tokens can allow us to make money. And we know that there are so many DeFi tokens that we can select, but we need to know the right project to invest. We need to be wise to trade in any coins, whether its bitcoin, altcoin, or even DeFi, and don't be greedy to chase the more profit if the market does not allow us to continue to trade.

As suggestions for investments in tokens we cannot fail to mention the brand new uniswap token that is uni which obviously can always be put as liquidity on uniswap and  I would also suggest jrt token even if its value has dropped a lot it still has great possibilities to be made available always on uniswap

Well whoever invested in Uniswap right after it came up will probably have thought they hit it big after 24 hours of listing but it fell back all the way down thanks to dumping of course. Right now still in profit at above $4 but I think the $10 valuations people were saying won't come true, at least not without another Bitcoin pump.

Nowadays the Defi project is growing very fastly and many of the coins/tokens are successfully trading and many big investors are getting into it. So, I want some suggestions in investment in Defi coins/tokens and which Defi project should I can invest in, as a short time to get a good gain.
Be careful while investing now as the market seems to be undergoing correction now.
You can check and confirm that most of the defi based projects are going down from many days.
So seems like the hype around defi is fading at the moment so do not invest now unless you see an extraordinary opportunity otherwise you can be trapped.

I have seen many new scam projects in the name of defi as well so it is better to buy high quality and established defi tokens from the crash. I will suggest to place your buy orders at suitable entry for aave, snx, comp, uni etc and if you get them cheap you will see good profit in few months time.

Personally i am waiting for a better option, something like a defi aggregator where i can pick and choose the best performing farms or something like a mutual fund that does all the research and work for the investors in choosing the right defi projects and helps us in making the most out of the defi in a sustainable and longterm way.

My suggest would be to keep your eyes wide open and do not chase every defi project.
Do not FOMO.
Be careful of scammers.
Assess each new project carefully and if you see any red flag skip the project.
Research to even minor details and come up with your analysis and then based on the analysis decide to invest or skip.
And also if you see something bad or potentially a red flag, come over and post about it so that community can be alert too.

The main thing is not to choose for investment those coins that are similar to others and were created specifically to mislead investors. It is so easy to think that there is a connection between a successful coin and a newly issued one. This is what scammers use.

Short term gains? First be ready to lose your capital if you are looking for this kind of returns then find the defi project which got more community support and buy it once it got value just sell it even if the gain is low so that you can avoid dumps and capital loss.

That's perfect advice, actually we have to follow whatever trend is running in cryptocurrency. If we research 1-2 months, I'm sure we could find some good DeFi projects to invest in for a short time. Privacy coins will I suggest for a long time. I will give one suggestion if you find legit one than must be check maximum supply and the partnership.

Well tokens are not really decentralized so there is no point of trusting their maximum supply will be same forever/I don't think these defi hype will exists for months so we need to make thing more faster as much we can and make something out of it.Privacy coins are good for long term but its better to diversify the capital into privacy coins, top market cap coins and potential growing coins.

S, you think that privacy coins are here to stay but DeFi will disappear after some time? I don't think so. Sure, DeFi is hyped right now, but that doesn't mean that it will disappear after few months or years. I think DeFi is definitely here to stay. But the problem is that probably 90% of projects that are live now will die out. Just like with any hyped things, there is a lot of DeFi projects. Some are pretty good and will probably survive in the long run, but majority will die out simply because they are copies of other projects.
For example, Synthetix is a DeFi project that is being developed for two years and back then no one didn't even know about decentralized finance. It's easy to start a new project that will do nothing else than copy another project. But it's hard to start a project with fresh, revolutionizing idea that Synthetix did back then when they were starting in Q2 2018.

Decentralized finance doesn't really have any benefits to the traditional lending system but it has more cons to add which definitely make the defi projects useless in the long run.For example giving complete control of your funds to someone will result into complete loss if the value of the coin dumped and also attacks from hackers can be the real challenge.

But in the traditional lending system you are too giving complete control of your money to someone else. Most of the time you don't even know who is in control of your money. As for hacking, traditional banks can be hacked too (not really hacked, but robbed). The only difference is that money in the bank is insured. I guess eventually DeFi users will be able to insure their money to be safe from dumping tokens and bad smart contract code. DeFi is still new and it needs more time to develop to become a competition to the traditional lending system.

Something that is trending will definitely be an opportunity for scammers to make something similar, look like ICO a few years ago, there were so many people losing money. So if you only think of short term investments then you are also ready to lose money. keep it a long term investment because it's safer

Long-term investments can only be made in bitcoin, Ethereum and a few other coins from the top 10. All other coins, especially those that appeared yesterday, are only suitable for short-term investments. Otherwise, you risk leaving your money in an asset that will constantly fall in price and as a result, you will lose your money.

Maybe you should consider going after DeFi if youre just in it because you got swept with the hype. Theres a lot of projects out there who switched to DeFi and then just ran with the money when they got investors in.

Traditional lending system is kind of having lot of benefits like low interest rates and not really any need for collateral for some kind of loans but for decentralized we need to give something that equals to the value we are getting so it better to sell that and have the money we wanted in my opinion.

Yes, if people like to chase Hype at this time, it would be great to choose the DeFi project because this DeFi system has been used by several projects this year so that their project can be recognized again in a new trend this year.

That's not true. When you need a big loan, you need mortgage. And when you need a smaller loan (like for buying a car), a bank can confiscate your assets if you can't pay back your loan. In decentralized lending system no one can confiscate your assets in order to pay back the loan.

As for selling crypto instead using is as a collateral, why would that be better? If you give BTC as a collateral, you can get loan and then when you pay it back, you withdraw your collateral. In the mean time BTC price can go up and you would be sorry for selling your BTC instead using it as a collateral.

So what will happen when the user dafualt loan on defi platform? He could never access the collateral which literally mean we lost our property/asset right?

Don't forget smart contracts codes were exploited in the past so if that happens then you might lose your assets as well.

the popularity of the Defi project has been trending this year. It's only natural that short-term traders and investors are looking to some new Defi projects. but be aware, when anything is popular on the market there will always be scammers.
everyone will of course hope that a good market situation like this one can survive and continue to grow for a long time. but we will see the end of the popularity that is currently on the market.

Honestly, I cannot suggest anyone to invest on Defi because until now I am still observing the movements of this project. I have joined many bounty campaigns of Defi believing it can give earnings in the future, but for investing this Defi project I cannot say don't and yes maybe its up to the one who want to invest what I want to say is observe first because this project is new in this crypto business.

Investing in crypto is risky all the time. However, the way DeFi projects create hype is tempting. So many people in greed invest in the wrong project at the wrong time. So I think we should refrain from investing in DeFi projects no matter how tempting it is.

I will advise you look into $BLZ, https://bluzelle.com as the project has gotten a solid and hardworking team behind it.
Some great highlights of the project include:
i. Powered by Cosmos
ii. Decentralized data storage
iii  Maximum security of data
iv. Enable tokens to connect regardless of what blockchain they originate
Last but not the least, you can read more about them online.

I'm gonna take this in a different direction and recommend the only long or short term DeFi project I have confidence in, and that's Bitcoin (BTC). As far as decentralizing one's own finances is concerned, the Bitcoin Network is by far the most decentralized in terms of global node count. In general, there's no safer option when it comes to taking control of your own finances, and while the real-world infrastructure simply isn't in place for most DeFi projects, it is in place for Bitcoin (more than any other coin, that is).

Pros:

  • Largest user & merchant base in the world
  • Secured by more computing power than all other coins combined
  • Greatest amount of volume, stability

Cons:

  • Nothing to farm
  • No 1000% in 1 week gains
  • Not tradeable on UniSwap

Bitcoin, for all your DeFi needs.* "We're already here."

*do you actually have any "DeFi needs," or are you just looking for some of those super sweet gainz?
