Title: Bitcoin Wallet Address Not Valid On Xcoins
Post by: Red1564 on September 20, 2020, 05:51:24 PM
My Bitcoin wallet addresses appear to work on other crypto sites, however, every time I enter an address on Xcoins it gives me an error message saying, "Please enter valid wallet address."  Xcoins says the address is good.  Any ideas?

Contact their support and ask sending the address?

Is it native segwit, beginning with "bc1"? What wallet are you using though also, if it is an address beginning bc1 you'll have to change the type of address being created.

if it is an address beginning bc1 you'll have to change the type of address being created.

i'd argue that if any website nowadays doesn't recognize an address type that was added more than 3.5 years ago that means they have not updated their system for that long and it is no longer safe to use such incompetent services and they should be avoided like a plague.
in other words instead of changing your address type you must change the site you are using.
